IF...they are bringing in “new eyes” to be announced next week, then I would say they are completely stuck, as that generally happens years later, not months. Hopefully, they have at minimum ruled out some people and scenarios...but am not even feeling confident about that if they still have no idea about motive or target.

Dude! I'm going to go to the home layout first...I'm a Realtor and for the life of me I can't grasp the interior layout of this home mainly due to the "odd" location of that darn china cabinet in videos.

It does mess with the open floor plan idea.

This doesn't necessarily mean that the door was immediately to the right of the patio door. It could be that he walked to the end of the kitchen(?) and then saw the room to his right... Just that it was easily discovered, and to his right, I guess.

The china cabinet is my biggest problem - LE states "open layout" well with what we know, the Living Room is to the left of the front door, china cabinet (which is maybe tucked into a closet on the wall to back of stairs). Then Dining/Kitchen to the right - BUT that is NOT an open layout. Maybe panty thief had it wrong and we are just running with what he said?? I don't know.

It's puzzling. What if the stairs are sideways, right behind the china cabinet, then things are open behind that?

I didn't see any brands listed, only one was pink (in color) and a red and white one.

The DM video "interview" was pieces of stuff clipped together. There was never a clear cut question and full answer from people that were visibly both in the same location and same time. It's a marvel of editing.

Maybe they have POI ... and this is all for them... young male interviewed by Fitzgerald might now be interviewed by specialists to get them to trip up... maybe attractive female investigator gets more out of POI... I’m guessing i truly don’t know...

Maybe all family has defenses up around fitz and specialist to interview family again..

If it can wait 7 days, is that they think jayme is gone or she’s hiding..

If he knocks down all 5/6 theories..I’d be stunned. Have they already said cameras 80 miles out was nothing ??

Unrelated question or somewhat unrelated. If I'm out driving in my car and I need 911 and I call, then become unresponsive, what happens? Would they be able to locate me?

What's on the other side of Barron, not Almena but in the opposite direction, on HWY 8? Early on when discussions were centered on what surveillance cameras might be located it was discussed about what cameras might be located heading towards Almena but what was there in the opposite direction? TIA

This would also make sense of the uncle saying he didn’t know who to be angry at. I’m paraphrasing and I do not have a link, but I believe it was in one of the interviews. IMO

1. Do we really know if Jayme was in the residence at the time of the murders? The Sheriff says Jayme was there and was taken but we do know specifically why he concludes she was there, possibly from the 911 call but we do not know this for sure. Maybe Jayme was not there and was elsewhere before (and obviously since) the murders. The scent dogs allegedly followed Jayme's sent to the driveway (presumably to an auto). Could this not be every day scent and not from the same time as murders? Most take as a given that Jayme was there at time of murders and left however unwillingly at the time of the crimes. But maybe not.

2. There was a bed taken from the house during the LE investigation and there are references to it being a single bed and Jayme's bed. Yet we are told by the Sheriff that the perp(s) went no farther than five feet into the house. The 5 feet conclusion seems farfetched from my perspective but let's say it is fact. What would they be looking for on a bed that is presumably Jayme's bed? One would think something that would be DNA evidence other than Jayme's but if the perp(s) only went 5 feet into the house the bed DNA would not be from them during the murders anyway. . Maybe there was actual or purported / suspected molestation going on? This could be a motivation or justification and Jayme would be hidden now and the perp(s) are from among those close to the family? This may be one reason the one Uncle made a statement of his suspicions and also why LE has not let the family hear the 911 tape and seems to not have been that willing to impart investigation specifics to the family and other intimates.

I hope that the investigation has gone much farther than we are aware of from media, public statements, and rumor. Like to see a break in the disappearance of Jayme and the who and why of her parents being murdered. Not much to go on at all. Hope Jayme is alive.

I cannot even confirm it is their house but I feel it is as it does not match other interiors and for other reasons. As far as useless, yah, like about everything is. If you take this pic however along with the other that shows the same floor, to those that are good at home layouts and specifics, it shows quite a bit between the two. Window, counters in different areas, door, table, etc. IF it is their house, between the two pics, it encompasses a fair amount of the kitchen area. The cabinets and flooring, door, etc. seem to fit the date. And, as stated previously, I have seen a few people on here do amazing work with photos. With basically no interior photos that we know of, other than people trying to decipher a snowman and a china cabinet at the front door, and a frig through a blurry and old patio door, it shows more than most. That is my defense and I am sticking to it, so there lol

Barron itself may have a few video cams like Kwik Trip or McDonald's, the "truck stop" gas station, etc. If you go through the several blocks of Barron on Highway 8, you will then have County W to the left which will take you on a shortcut to Cameron. If you continue on 8 it is largely open with some homes set way back, a cemetery gravestone place, but nothing much. You then come to the US Highway 53 on ramps to the south and north. If you pass these, you will end up at a stop sign/T. A right will take you towards Chetek on County Road SS, a left will take you into Cameron.

For the most part, any cams would be in the City of Barron, there is not much beyond that.

I have no idea if that is dependent on whether you have location settings on in the phone or not. I am sure someone else can answer that, I think it has been discussed back some time ago at length but I can't remember all of the details...

I have always been a bit thrown by casino was contacted quickly but no contacts in Barron for video (at least on the call log). I mean maybe they knew they passed no one but a person COULD have gotten into Barron and stopped, pulled off, turned, etc. All seem to feel it was called for its video but we truly do not know that or whether they had a reason to feel the perp(s) went west and, even if so, that they even would have went as far as Turtle Lake without turning off. There is also a gas station on 8 in Almena which also has a bank which I would assume has video, how good or what it covers I would be unsure of, but that would be the first area passed before Turtle Lake Casino... Maybe in later days, they accessed all video but just saying there are no entries about other places in the initial call log, and maybe they do not need to be entered--and just saying only the casino was. I am 50/50 on whether contact there was only about video and not for more than one reason...
