Get one Scientologist on the jury and ya never know.

Wow! just thought of something...Juliett lewis (the actress) IS A SCIENTOLOGIST! Zenu is the name of their God! OMG! Xenu, Zany! WTH???? Caylee must have been a suppressive person in KC's mind.

JMVHO in what I've researched about Scientologist beliefs in aliens beings that were blown up from a volcano and are attached to all of us and most be removed.
Maybe KC was using the chloroform to remove these aliens "herself"  used too much and killed Caylee..
Of course, it will be revealed that KC is a scientologist and stole money to pay for auditing to remove the alien beigns and so that she can become like, an operating Thetan III. wow!

:woohoo::woohoo:
I think we stumbled upon the "big surprise" JB was talking about.

then they should move the trial to clearwater, FL! for sure that defense may fly if the manage some scientologist in the bunch...:waitasec:

She's taken it too far, too long, for an accident explanation to hold any water. The prosecution simply has far too many sticks with which to poke holes in any accident story.

I'm afraid Team Casey's stuck with the kidnapping story they've been so insistent on forwarding for 'lo these many months.

It's a shame that none of them (including--ESPECIALLY--Jose Baez kept their mouths shut.

They've sealed their fate, IMO.

(And I don't see any way around premeditation, either.)

her story ALWAYS changes.. so i voted- not sure..
i would love to hear what this "story that will all make sense when it comes out at trial"

everyone keeps saying that they believe the death was an accident..
ok maybe... but how does that explain her behavior after caylee went missing??

IMO, someone who "accidentally" kills their child, or anyone else for that matter, would not be out gettin' jiggy with it at the clubs, or shopping with stolen money.... or even renting movies the same night.

i believe this was premeditated.. she wanted caylee out of her way. she wanted to be free to do as she pleased and not be judged by her mother for being a bad parent. she also wanted to be in the spotlight. the main focus of attention. she broke off her engagement with jesse because "he loved caylee more than her"

I voted. I think KC will claim that she was drugged by the phantom nanny and has no recall or knowledge of what happened to LIL Caylee. She'll also state that the nanny and drug dealers placed Caylee's body in her trunk and she panicked and buried her at the location on Suburban Dr. My 2 cents :~)

My MIL mentioned on Christmas that she feels KC is innocent. I asked her if she had read all of the documents released and she said no. She thinks KC is innocent because she is young and pretty and someone like that couldn't possibly murder her own child.

Is your husband that dumb? What does he think of his mothers intelligence?

After seeing the terrifying breath of FL's open records and disclosure laws, I'd think twice before getting involoved in a criminal investigation. I probably would do my civic duty, but I'd certainly try to limit my exposure as well. I've seen peoples SS#'s, cell phone numbers, home phone numbers and addresses, their personal laundry that was really unrelated to the crime under investigation put out there for the whole world to see, to chat about, to google, to map quest, to idenity thief and to stalk. Seems like in trying to get to the bottom of one crime, these liberal disclosures may create a lot more crimes. They certain invade the privacy of witnesses. Redaction doesn't seem to be a word included in the disclosure statutes. We've enjoyed being privy to all this info obtained in an investigation that we're interested in, but I find this wholescale, virtually uncensored release of personal info to be shocking and downright scary.

PS I really don't care for Waffle House but love your idea for interviewing there! It has all the right elements to aid in both protecting your personal information and enjoying a nice hearty breakfast, or lunch or dinner! Midnight snack.

The only problem is that if I had to sit there nekkid the whole place would clear out, FAST!

GVS is also a scientologist....WTH? I'm going to go sleuth if this is where JB is getting defense money and ideas...:waitasec:

So, if KC does change her story and says that it was an accident, blah blah blah....can the prosecution ignore her "confession" and go on with first degree murder? I mean, they have enough evidence (in my opinion). They do not HAVE to accept her plea, do they?

I voted, no, I don't think she will change her story. I think she is way too deep into her own delusion that she probably believes her own lies now. She has convinced herself that she really is a victim. If anything, she feels that she deserved to be free of a child that she never really wanted to begin with and now she is a victim to the system. I think that she has gotten away with everything her whole life, and feels that she will get away with this too.

She'll have a problem with any new story, 'cuz to all who saw and interacted with her, she was not acting like the mom of a kidnapped child in the period after she said her child had been kidnapped. She went on as if nothing was wrong. People will still wonder how she could do that and will think it suspicious that she didn't just tell the police the truth to start with, or three months ago, or the week before Caylee was found, especially since so many people were looking for her both dead and alive and her parents were suffering so. People will want an explanation of why she wouldn't have wanted to get Caylee out of the swamp and herself out of jail if she hadn't done anything wrong? Why wouldn't she want to get out and go after the real killers? Don't get me wrong; I think she might try it. She doesn't have a lot else in her arsenal but she's lied so much and so big that a lot of people aren't going to believe anything she says. Plus, big prob for the defense, she'll pretty much have to get on the stand to say it. I don't think her lawyer will want her to do that, although if this gets to trial, they're going to have to try something.

She's going to throw Cindy under the bus.

I can certainly see her blaming cindy, in fact if she sticks to this nanny story she will have to come up with something because Caylee's dead body was in her car. That evidence will be hard to overcome.

Jose baez has a mountian to climb in order to present any defense of casey at all, he most likely won't, he will bring on a bunch of experts to dispute the evidence...doubt it will work though. But if the whole she was kidnapped thing is what casey insists he go with, I don't think he will out and out say cindy did it, but he will plant the thought in the jurors minds.

Her family are the only people that had access to the car, other than the tow yard (don't go there jose, no one will believe any theory that some nanny broke in there and put Caylee's dead body in the car and then went back and retrieved her and then put in the woods down the street fom the anthony's) and I believe she would have no problem getting on the stand and (of course to tell a new story she must take the stand) telling the world that her mother murdered Caylee and made her do all of the things she did afterwards, i.e...follow cindy's script.

In no way was privileged information disclosed but Ts.L., Lee's att'y did represent a point of view when he said, ""Again, when this investigation began, we did not know who was responsible for Caylee's disappearance. Mr. A. was going under the assumption she was kidnapped."

So we know what the prisoner's own brother believes and that is very close to the heart.

Casey will not admit any wrong in Caylee's death, she said she was wrong to have trusted Zanny with the care of Caylee. I believe she will try to act like she has multiple personalities. Jesse G said he didn't know "this Casey". He will be a strong witness stating her change of personality. Baez, can't let her admit to it being an accident because he encouraged people to look for Caylee. He went on record demanding all the tips to look for her, he has hung himself out to dry if she changes her story.

was going???? now I wonder what he IS going with????? :waitasec:

Believe it or not .... this may be coming. Why?

Because look at all of the cases involving deaths of children and husbands by mothers. They either don't go to jail or end up with less than 5 years in prison. (when she admits to cover-up under distress)

Most of the evidence points to a poorly designed cover up with little that supports how she actually died. If she comes forward with some story saying she died while in the pool (example) ... and explains her actions as being scared, not knowing what to do and trying to pretend everything was fine she gets less than 5 years jail time. (with book, movie or deals when she gets out)

If she continues as is .... she may spend much longer time in jail.

PREDICTION: Her story will change in a big way before trial! Her attorney may wait until the LAST minute so that the state has little time to respond and prepare for the change.

Little jail time and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I voted I'm not sure. If she stays with Zanny, she's fried or at least not getting out until she's in her fifties.

If she changes to an accident, she's going to have to do a lot of genuine crying in the court room. A LOT. She has been so callous and calculating, and with the internet searches, I'm not sure an accident will be belived.

Who knows. Maybe she will confess to something that sounds realistic in an attempt to save what's left of her life.

Edited to remove an inappropriate comment on my part.

I would also like to say I dont consider myself,or any of the other posters on this board part of some 'Lets get Casey Anthony' lynchmob.
While I find her actions reprehensible I find her a pitiable figure in some respects like any other sociopath.
In her case to be born physically beautiful with a cleft pallet of the soul that she is keenly aware of...an unpenatrable barrier to warmth,peace,friendship,satisfaction,family,love...it must be its own special kind of hell.
I just have alot more sympathy for Caylee and Casey needs to pay for what she did to her regardless.

I"m not an expert on sociopaths. Everyone said she changed after her breakup with Jesse, and then got even worse with her new partying BFFs. Im' actually starting to lean towards borderline rather than sociopath. And either PTSD over what she did, or lying so much to herself that she really believes Zanny existed. Borderlines can do that.

(My husband's ex is borderline, and she accused him of raping her. I was naturally cautious until she accused ME of sexually abusing her. Which was quite traumatic to me!!!!)

There are lots of variables in the decision to change her story, right up to court time. The defense team will end up with all of the DA evidence including toxicology and if there is no proof of drugs or even proof that could easily be countered by their defense specialists, they have the option of just presenting the reasonable doubt theory of accidental death by drowing or other means and panic and lies by KC to cover it up. KC doesnt need to testify for that. JB can describe various scenarios to the jury and let them decide if any could be plausible and leave it at that. Without a cause of death, the defense is in the driver seat, whether going through with the trial or just letting KC offer a plea of negligence. No the plea doesnt have to be accepted but a DA might recommend it to avoid a clean getaway by one juror being hung on reasonable doubt.

If KC can be convinced that a plea might get her less than ten years of sentence and maybe three years served, she might go for it for all the reasons described above. Money, still being young, and knowing at some point she can weave the story into "I only plead guilty to get this all over with and to avoid a wrongful prosecution. Hollywood forgives all and she will be famous forever, with millions to spend and only 27 or so years old. With her sociopath guiltless personality, she could live with that easily and just distance herself from her parents. In five years, shes pregnant again and media is paying millions more to see her new baby. it just makes you sick.

If toxicology comes back with hair evidence of multiple drug ingestions or even just one, any plea deal would be for higher charge and longer sentence along with complete disclosure of all details under oath. remember any lies in that deal and sentence is max.
sadly most neglence or manslaughter related sentences in this country average about five years with 15 as the max. Likely, also, JB would try for plea deal that included reduction or dismissal of the check charges. any of the above would be considered victory by defense and they could walk away with reputations in tact. KC wouldnt like it but with millions involved, likely figure she could do three to five standing on her head shopping the sharper image catalogs on ways to spend her future fortune.

Im hoping that is at least some tiny bit of evidence of drugs in caylees hair and that will give the DA the most leverage in prosecution or even plea deals for maximum sentences.

that toxicology evidence will likely be the tell all as to how this trial plays out and what the defense opts to do.
