“A 30-year-old Toronto woman has been arrested and charged with murder in the separate deaths of three people in Toronto, Niagara Falls and Hamilton, according to the Toronto police.

Niagara Regional Police and Hamilton Police Service said in a news release the victims are: an unidentified woman believed to be in her 60s in Toronto; Lance Cunningham, 47, in Niagara Falls; and, Mario Bilich, 77, in Hamilton.

Sabrina Kauldhar has been charged with second-degree murder in the Toronto death, second-degree murder in the Niagara Falls death and first-degree murder in the Hamilton death.”

“I think by definition she is a serial killer. By definition I think that is a fair comment,” Niagara Regional Police Service Chief Bill Fordy said during a Friday afternoon press conference. “It’s always difficult speculate on what somebody would do. What I can say is that I am very pleased that we were able to bring this to closure in a quick manner. We have three families here that have lost their loved ones and I think when we have somebody who has committed three offences in a real tight timeline like that there is the risk of them committing further offences.”

Niagara Regional Police Service have arrested a female believed to be involved in homicides in Toronto, Niagara and Hamilton.
On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 2:08 p.m., police responded to a call for service in the Keele Street and Dundas Street West area.
It is reported that:
  • a woman was located deceased inside a residence
  • the woman had trauma to her body
The woman is believed to be in her 60's and has yet to be identified.

On October 2, 2024, at 2:49 p.m., emergency services personnel responded to John Allan Park in the City of Niagara Falls for a report of a disturbance. When officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) arrived on scene they found an adult male suffering from critical injuries. Despite medical intervention efforts by Niagara Emergency Medical Services and the Niagara Falls Fire Service, 47-year-old Lance Cunningham was pronounced deceased at the scene.

On October 3, 2024, at approximately 12:26 p.m., Hamilton Police Service received a 911 call requesting an ambulance to the parking lot of 209 MacNab Street North, where an unresponsive male was found with significant injuries consistent with a stabbing. Police and Hamilton Paramedics responded to the scene, and the victim was transported to hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators were able to link the homicide to the recent murder of 47-year-old Lance Cunningham in John Allen Park in Niagara Falls, determining the suspect matched the description in both cases. An additional link was made to the active homicide investigation from October 1 in Toronto.

Sabrina Kauldhar, 30, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged by the Toronto Police Service with:
Second Degree Murder
She has also been charged with First Degree Murder in the Hamilton homicide and Second Degree Murder in the Niagara homicide.

She is currently being held in custody by the Niagara Regional Police Service. She was scheduled to appear virtually at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 10 a.m., in room 102.

The Niagara Regional Police Service, joined by the Hamilton Police Service, will be hosting a media availability at 4pm today in the Headquarters Community Room located at 5700 Valley Way, Niagara Falls Ontario, L2E 1X0.

Investigators believe Mario Bilich and Lance Cunningham were randomly targeted, while Kauldhar was known to the Toronto victim.
This remains an ongoing investigation by Homicide detectives; as they continue to determine the timeline of events.

But yeah, she's a spree killer. No cool down period. She's got more in common with mass shooters and family annihilators, like that. With spree killers of all stripes, you might get victims in multiple locations, some with a connection to the killer, some just unfortunately unlucky strangers, but you don't see that cool down and build up cycle that you do with a typical serial offender. Every refractory period is unique to each individual serial killer and their circumstances, but generally, there'll be times they lie low before working themselves up to kill again. No cool down with this woman.

Fair enough! Didn't know it had been relegated to the history books.

Still think she's probably got more in common with those who commit several murders in a short period in a fairly public way than, say, someone like Dahmer. She doesn't seem to have really hidden anything. All her victims were found very quickly and linked to her.
