Thank you, it was just so strange for me today when I’d said her feet
look awkward when the news was broadcast and they found her body and then the hiking boots news came out today, such an odd thing for me to notice at the time of her being found.
I really hope they’ve got enough to charge him when/if that time comes, i want him alive and to face punishment, I go between he’s alive to he’s dead so many times through the day, it’s a yo-yo. I hope he knows the reaction of the world to what he’s done and how disgusting he is. All MOO x

That black / orange item looks to be a backpack belonging to the search & rescue team.
Compared to the rescue workers standing to the left, to me, it's appears to be the size of a back pack proportionately, not of a body, imo.
I'm pretty sure there are no images / footage of her body online.
KSL TV was super quick to edit that footage before putting out re-runs.
Unless someone was recording that station at that time and has a copy of the original footage, I believe KSL TV, LE, FBI & the coroner are the only ones to have it.

i agree...the reason i don't believe the black item is where Gabby's body was found is because KSL said they would not show that portion of the footage, but that black item is still visible in the news report from 10/12 showing their helicopter footage from 9/19...

Regular DNA from living with someone is different than having say, curled bits of skin under the nails which they would expect to find in these self defence cases.

True. But a couple of posts have suggested BL's DNA on her neck would be enough to convict him. I doubt that myself (lovers do touch each other's necks) but if his DNA is on her neck after all this time AND there's no other DNA in that area of her body, that would help to convict him. Again, not enough by itself in my mind if I were a juror-- if there was someone else he could have worn gloves. But a valuable piece of evidence.

I wonder if anyone can advise on a question I've had circling in my head..

Will the fact that GB and BL were a couple - and traveling together in a confined space - have any bearing on the validity of DNA evidence (as far as it being incriminating)?

For example, would a Defence Attorney just say,

"Well, of course Brian's DNA was on her body/clothing etc - they were boyfriend and girlfriend!"

Is it going to be difficult for the prosecution to prove that evidence of DNA is over and above any that would be found 'natually' due to the fact they were a couple? How would they differentiate?

IMO, what the clincher will be is, other than Gabby, BL and perhaps trace from family, the absence of DNA from another party .

To me it looks to puffy to be a backpack, I think sleeping bag maybe BL left it. I’m not saying it’s her I’m saying it was weird at the time I took that screenshot that I said her feet look awkward but then today the news came out about the hiking boots, just odd I mentioned feet is all. I definitely don’t see a back pack though, maybe a coat or a sleeping bag IMO.

It's not conducive to sleuthing if everyone has already decided that BL is a depraved serial killer, 100% guilty, and should be executed.

I hope those who wish to share other alternative narratives or theories are allowed to do so within the TOS.

I do not believe that. I believe that BL lost his temper and control, and in a fight with Gabby, went too far. He had said during the Moab incident that they were not getting along.

That someone without a criminal history, that lived in his parents home with this SO, that he knew for a while. , that he had so many choices, opportunities, privileges, that he had to go too far, sadly makes him too danger to be out and about in society. Hes shown he could kill someone.

in our legal system, it has to be proven beyond reasonable doubt BL did this. I think a lot of the outrage about the case is because it looks like he might get away with this. Parents have lawyered up. LE couldn’t even talk to him. Hes disappeared and they still can’t find him. Body not found for a long time, and are remains with coroner unable to give a timetable of 3-4 weeks a ago that’s death occurred. That’s the story here.

I think the most valuable evidence that they could collect from Gabby will be BL’s fingerprints around her neck.

To take the childhood issues even further- why aren't the parents, who were the last people to see BL alive, being investigated in his disappearance? Who's to say the parents didn't decide to do away with the monster after he did the unspeakable? Perhaps their silence is because they don't want anyone to figure out what THEY did? Not likely but possible. IMO.

That is an idea I’ve not yet read or heard!

My speculation... I don't know if the images being discussed ever existed. But here's something to take to the bank... if they were ever captured (and moreso broadcast) even just once... they are somewhere to be found online. No doubt in my mind.

Sadly, after a month of her being there exposed to the elements and animals, I think that if she were in that, it would have been torn apart and scattered. It looks much too neat to have had a body in it left outside for a month. IMO.

I hope so but one report earlier said there was no struggle where she lay deceased. Was she murdered and moved? I hope she fought him!

We don’t have the death penalty here in the UK so when I say punished I mean prison IMO. I just want gabbys family to be able to start to grieve properly and the rest of the world, he’s preventing that from happening because there is no resolution at the moment. Why have we not heard much from anyone if they’re even still searching, surely he’s dangerous if he’s still alive, desperate people do desperate things IMO.

The body-cam footage from the 2nd officer, the officer approaches the van and says to BL, "Hey, we got a call about a male hitting a female and the two of them getting in this vehicle and taking off." Gabby is already out of the van at this point.

BL responds, "Sorry, I, I, I, I, don't have time to defend myself by sitting here."

This exchange takes place at about 30 seconds into the footage.

That, along with him being less jovial with this officer, has always bothered me. He doesn't have time to defend himself? Or, he has time to defend himself but not while sitting? Either way, it reads to me, that he believed hitting Gabby was a defensible action on his part. Sorry, it's not.

Given his "... I don't have time..." response, it's no surprise to me that he's "missing". If even just from a moral standpoint, he needs to own up to his actions.
