There might not be any. Small town, they may have hung out at someone's house party and made a casual plan for Zach to drop by some morning after everyone left. ?

They may be lying when they implicate Clint. But I have always been very suspicious of Clint's strange behavior that morning. He is not like any Southern country boy, with a younger sister in trouble, that I have ever known.
Every one I've known, would have opened the patio door, or called out, or gone outside with a gun, if they saw their sister being marched out to the woods.

I just don't understand his inaction. Why call his mother if he is wanting to know what was happening with his little sister? Why not go ask her right then? Then he is told there was screaming, at his house, and he still does nothing? I do not understand....

By the time he knew about the neighbor hearing a scream Holly was already gone wasnt she? Wasnt the scream coming from behind the neighbor's property by then?

I think both Holly and Clint were sheltered by their mom and that is why he called her first. I think she was the leader of the household so they went to her first on everything. Didnt even Holly discuss with her mom that day on what shoes she should wear?

But then I have never seen anything suspicious about Clint's actions that day and have always felt like most human beings do when he tried to rationalize what he was seeing and thought it is benign.

Imo, Clint loved his sister and he wouldn't let ZA kidnap her even if he had known ZA was taking her.

I really feel so bad for the Bobo family. Clint has been in court every time there has been a hearing and all during the trial.:( And how would Holly know ZAs was there to make meth by just seeing him? It makes no sense to me.

Respectfully, I disagree with you. IMO, she is deliberately using being female for the benefit of her cross examination. She is making him want to "help" her figure out everything. She, acting a bit confused, is moving him to help her understand. She knows that if she comes in like a pit bull, he will balk at helping her pull any information from him. He would immediately go into "fight" mode.
I'm a woman who was in a management position working with men. There are ways to get them to partner with you in order to negotiate agreements and resolve disputes.

I have supervised lots of males. I agree on the not looking to aggressive aspect. That said, if she doesn't have a master plan she is really messing up her client. I lost my feed a bit ago but from what I saw he looks like a reformed drug addict, who is being honest and true, even about his level of drug use and actions that day. She looks like she is just trying to come up with something.

On another note, the maps that she is having him draw won't help with towers or anything b/c he keeps saying if that is what your info is then I agree. He can't draw to scale. Unless she tries to pin this whole thing on him, the maps aren't going to help her. IMO

Seems to me tweeter Keller is getting some of it wrong in his tweets where he does not quote verbatim.

Clint was investigated to the fullest. I just don't buy meth dealers make house calls to walk ya thru how to make it. I think Zach's info is a lie.

I haven't heard anything about them splitting. I don't know if they still live in the same house, but they did put it on the market to sell not very long ago

The last I read they are still married and are a very close couple.

It makes no sense. So Zach hides his vehicle and sneaks over to a home where he knows Karen and Dana live and they are just going to go inside and make a bunch of meth? Nope I don't believe this part for one second. Like I said earlier, I want to see any phone call records between this crew and Clint around the time it happened. I think this is JAs sick way to get back at Holly's family or ZAs if he really told JA this. They probably blame them for the three getting caught because they wouldn't let go of it being investigated.

Might I add, conveniently dressed in Camo to exit via the backwoods after the lesson!

I'm floored by that. I had kind of put it together in my head and Holly became known to Zach through the video rental place, due to his ex working there. There was also that comment that her cousin supposedly told ZA that Holly would have a threesome with them, so I figured he got it in his head to have her one way or the other. Even if that's true, how would it go from showing someone how to make meth to kidnapping, raping and killing Holly?

Did that come out with the prosecutor or the defense?

Potential correction to your statement above

:moo: it was the cousin/stripper that was introduced at the video rental... that they corrected/discussed on Channel 5 during a break. It was NOT Holly is what I heard as to the correction. :cow:

He heard her arguing with someone in the carport, and saw 2 figures kneeling down....RIGHT THEN, at that point, why not open the screen door and call out to your sister? That is the 1st thing I don't get. He is a big brother, they live in the country, it seems natural to check on her if she is arguing and you don't know why.

Maybe Mom was the leader, but she said SHOOT HIM---so he ignored his Mom's orders at that point.

Even though she was out of sight, he could have run into the woods to see where she was being taken. For all he knew, someone was assaulting her in the woods. He couldn't know there was a getaway truck parked back there.

I have always thought his behavior was suspicious that day. Other people are hearing screams and calling mom and coming to look at the driveway, and the one person who could have done something was totally ineffective and inactive. It is so frustrating.

I don't think Holly would have been yelling at Zach because she thought he was there to make meth. She was probably screaming out of fright because he immediately threatened her. He came out of nowhere and grabbed her. SHE SCREAMED and probably hoped her brother would come out with the rifle.

Great point on the Camo. Yes is that the attire for one conducting a meth tutorial? or one who wants to be disguised. And disguised to look like half the County who hunts.

I totally agree. I guess we need to question who we believe.

Jason Autry or Clint Bobo

truth be told, nothing sits right with me about Clint and his story.

Jason Autry ?? I find him fairly genuine but I dont know if i would trust him to water my plants.

I'll go with door #3... neither are telling the full truth. I don't see an either or as I think both have not been 100% honest. :cow:

I simply don't believe the story about Zach going over to the BoBo's house to teach Clint how to make meth. That makes no sense at all to me. If you make meth and sell it too then you definitely would not want to teach someone else to make it. KWIM?

JA is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. But, he did say that he knew his business (drugs and petty crime?). I think she is barking up the wrong tree on trying to trip him up about that morning. Each time he repeats that narrative, the jury gets more wedded to it. If by asking him again and again she wants the jury to think he is hiding something, he will win on that point b/c she is not placing him at Holly's and she is not making it so that her client couldn't have been at Holly's.

On the Clint thing, I wonder about the truth in the statement about making meth. ZA was either helping him to learn a trade, had planned to abduct Holly, rob the garage or whatever. I think he told JA that because to say that he was stalking her to rape and kill her wouldn't have flown with JA, a despicable druggie and thief but most likely not a rapist and murderer of innocent people. He and Clint may have had an arrangement but that doesn't mean Clint knew that this was the day and time. I do wonder about robbing the garage as a prime motive but evidence for that so far.

For me, it's both. I believe both.

What I don't believe, or at least what I am not convinced of, is that ZA went there that morning to cook meth with CB, or to show him how, or whatever.

This does not mean I think Autry is lying when he said ZA told him that. It means I think ZA was lying.

I think ZA went to the Bobo home that morning to get Holly. I think he had cased the area in advance to know times she came and went. MOO.

Yeah. But Jason's truth is different from Clint's truth which is different from Zach's truth which is different from THE truth. No one 100% tells the truth either intentionally or unintentionally.
