Ok my jaw dropped through the floor and onto the dirt beneath my apartment when he said the underwear wasn't Holly's and the palm print did not match any of the defendants.

Uuuugh. I just don't think you should lie about that though!! Or lie about anything in an investigation. I understand why and I know she was desperate to find her baby girl but I just... -cringe-

I'd lie about my kid's age if s/he was missing! Geez.

It really wasn't a good idea for her to lie about this. Or anything. It's a fact that would be discovered and make folks question everything.

However, I don't think anyone can judge the level of terrified this woman must have had and the pressure she felt to do everything she could As a mother, I cannot even imagine it.

Surely, the jury will have sympathy on this minor indiscretion. My heart breaks for her. So many prayers lifted for this family.

Because it was originally collected as evidence in the area as they didn't know if it did/did not have her DNA on it ?

I'm afraid this will come up again and she'll try to tie whoever's DNA to the disappearance. Remember she said more than one person's DNA was found on them.

They found one on her car, I believe where she was kidnapped.
