I don't recall anyone saying the quilt was Shayne's. She was already in the back of the truck wrapped up when JA arrived.

Shayne did not have a quilt and he had no money to buy anything

Shayne did not have a burn barrel at his trailer

Shayne's driveway did not have a gate at that time; we did put gate up after we bought Shayne a puppy in June 2011

By law it doesn't matter DGC. She was being kidnapped the entire time and held against her will by all of them. So yes they did prove the kidnapping charges, imo.

Sorry for the interruption but I just wanted to say thanks so much for all of the tweets and commentary everyone, like all of us, I waited so long for this trial but we were flooded in the aftermath of Harvey (the Addicks reservoir release) and due to (still) being in a motel I missed all the trial streaming.

I finally got caught up and current just as the state rested, the last witnesses should seal the case, can't imagine the jurors having any doubt about ZA's guilt.

I don't think the state ever said that the quilt belonged to Shayne. It could have been something in Dylan or Zach's vehicle or was left in the trailer by someone else. I don't think that means Zach is innocent.

As for burn barrel, if they wanted to start a fire to burn evidence, they could have easily come up with some way to do so. I am sure Zach had access to an old barrel to start a fire in.

Shayne didn't have keys to house, to their vehicle, etc. He didn't drive their vehicles.

Why is the judge tellng to only answer the questions? He never did that to the state's witnesses! I do NOT like the way this judge is handling this trial...
