Hope it is ok I bring this over....SA was 35 when Holly was abducted??????

Post from Old Steve:

Confusing who's who in this case, as least it is for me...

So it started with -

Zachary Adams, 29, first to be charged.

We have John Dylan Adams, Zachary Adams' brother, whom as The Jackson Sun reported, saw Zachary Adams with Holly after the kidnapping.

Jason Wayne Autry, 39 years old was the next to charged in Holly's murder.

Shayne Kyle Austin, 38 years old, who was given immunity, but now prosecutors are saying they plan to indict (I assuming as a co-conspirator?)

In a pretrial hearing State revealed Shayne Austin said Zach told him he had #HollyBobo chained up in the back, told Shayne to come *advertiser censored** her

That statement makes me cringe. They treated her so inhumanely as if she was nothing of value when she was valued by so many who loved and greatly admired her.

It makes me want to see ZA strapped to a gurney one day taking his last wicked and evil breath.and I hate that SA took the cowardly way out.

I hope they all rot in hell. This statement by SA shows it WAS ZA who came and kidnapped Holly, imo.

Yes, just because he read discovery never means his testimony isn't truthful. He may not have known some of the finite details that DA and ZA didn't tell him at the time.

Not once in all of ZAs ramblings telling anyone and everyone did he ever say JA was involved in the kidnapping, rape, and murder of Holly. And he never told any of the witnesses JA was involved either that were his buddies at the time.

I feel for SAs mom I really do but all she is doing is trying to help her son look better which is understandable I guess. If she is upset then she should be with ZA who is the one who said her son was involved up to his eyeballs in all of this.

Mothers.....shaking my head here. How on earth did she think Shayne could even think he could get immunity unless he was involved? Feel for her but IMO her loss should make her feel even more compassion for the Bobos. JMO

I am not sure why the defense called this woman. Is it because she did not hear or see a rape in a building that she owns?

I hate when witnesses keep repeating themselves over and over. They sound clueless.

State:

IF she was drugged, she would b unable to scream

Based on the first two defense witnesses, I wonder if the defense's case is solely to cast doubt from the cross of the prosecution witnesses. If so, I think she did a very poor job on cross examination.

I think the majority of the posters here followed media reports before this trial, and many have followed this case since Holly was missing. LOTS of information has been printed during those times, but it was not brought up in the court.

Over the weekend, I read lots posted here, and other places from years ago. From all that, I do agree this group of men are guilty of everything, however, I stand by my statement that it would be difficult to convict based soley on what the state has presented, and the jurors are ONLY suppose to know what is in court, nothing else about the case. That's where my issue is. In any court case, I want our system to work. The state is not always right, the defense is not always right. The state has a duty to prove their case and to prove the person charged is guilty. The jury must base their verdict on the facts presented in the trial and not on emotions.

No different than with the Casey Anthony trial where I still believe she was guilty, but the state didn't prove it in court. I know why there was outrage, because we believe she got away with murder, literally! But we must hold our officials responsible for keeping a court system in check and balances. We can't always side with the prosecution in every case, just because they have charged someone. We can't assume that all defendants are guilty, and that their defense is just to muddy the waters.

Good night all! Thanks for all the tweets and discussion!
