I didn't see the one with Dora the Explorer. I saw one with her pic on it. Very briefly. Then it went private. She had a friend on there named Rose or something. Actually, I can't remember the name, but it was someone who was friends with both KC and her, or she had a mutual friend with KC. Its been so long. I can't remember the details, but I will try to come back here tonight and find the thread on it. My daughter was in the hospital yesterday and it's been hectic here, but when she goes to bed I will go back and see if I can find where we were talking about it again.

I have a distinct recollection that John Morgan admitted on TV early on that "Fernandez" was not part of his client's name. His filings then dropped the "Fernandez" from the caption:

The court did not drop the "Fernandez" because courts don't change captions unless someone files a motion asking the court to change the caption. So any orders issued by the court continue to use the name "Fernandez-Gonzalez" for the plaintiff.

The Orange County Clerk records show her middle name as "Obo" for her 2002 paternity suit.

IMO there would be no reason at all for Morgan to direct his staff to drop the "Fernandez" from his filings unless he had realized it was incorrect.

Amazing when you consider how many lives ICA has affected negatively.. It seems as though anyone who crosses her path rather directly, or indirectly gets sucked into the "Casey vortex". Disturbing to think that with the not guilty verdict, in all likelihood that list will continue to grow. A leopard does not change it's spots.

ITA! If she had been found guilty of SOMETHING other than lying to LE, these cases wouldn't be happening. TES filed their case this afternoon. 2/3rds of the country felt that she was guilty. I accept the verdict because I have to. But, it just hits me at a core level that I can't explain. ZG has every right to file a suit in my opinion. It is not my business. I personally hope that everyone who can - files a suit - maybe a class action suit of all the people who have been adversely touched by ICA (that would include us here:floorlaugh. In my opinion, it is the legal way to work through this. Maybe I am giving the justice system a second chance. Or then again, maybe she will just slither out of all this too.

Time will tell. In the meantime - I am supporting ZG and TES and whoever comes next.

i'm getting the feeling posters are thinking this is a new case, not one that has been delayed for a couple of years. This is NOT a new case - it is a case that has already heard depos from CA, GA and LA. CFCA ducked out of them because her trial was coming up and she didn't want to incriminate herself. Well that trial is over so her depo can now proceed.

Repeat - this is not a new defamation suit by Mogan and ZFG.

No ,it is not. This case was put on hold and it's long overdue.

I think ICA will be a no show,though.

He misunderstood. When LE came to ZG's house, they asked her (according to what she said on TV) if she was the ZG with kids named J and M and if she drove a certain car. She said yes. They said they needed to question her about Caylee's disappearance. She ASSUMED WRONGLY that LE got that information from Casey. They did not. Casey said ZFG had no kids and did not give a matching description of ZG's car.

Then ZG presumably told the same thing to Morgan and he also ASSUMED WRONGLY that the info came from Casey. Then Morgan went on TV and restated these wrong assumptions as if they were fact--i.e., that Casey had given LE all this matching information about ZG.

The only thing that "matched" Casey's description was that Casey said ZFG lived at Sawgrass from about Spring of 2008 through June 16 (or June 9), 2008--and this ZG visited Sawgrass once on June 17, 2008.

Everybody who has followed this case knows this is not a scam. We all remember all the depositions years ago. We saw ZFG with her attorney's talking about how much this has changed her life.
We know she got death threats. We know she suffered because of Casey's lies.


I hope she wins big.

I hope she takes a big chunk of Casey's "earnings" along with Tim Miller and the state of Florida.

I am finding that it is amazing how much I had forgotten. Like how, when KC was giving info on ZFG to the police she gave the names of the real ZGs children. Even with the odd spelling. I decided to try and look and see what I could find on what I said in the post up thread. For some reason, I am thinking that the mutual or semi-mutual friend's name was Lauren, but I also thought that the name had something to do with a flower. Anyway, I have just started looking again in this thread:

She didn't sign it. The apartment manager wrote her name on it as "Zenaida Gonzale" IIRC with something that looked like a "C" in front of it but he later explained was a "G". Apparently he had started writing the last name first but switched to the first name instead.

Are you sure about the kids names? I thought that was what Lee gave them as info that he had gotten from KC. I really need to go back and look again.

And if reports are correct ,she will be using a different name and will be disguised. That is scary .

Right now there is zero proof that John Morgan is helping to facilitate a scam. Meanwhile, there is tons of proof that Jose Baez did, and I can't wait for the Florida Bar to start investigating him- hopefully with Judge Perry's referral!:woohoo:

I don't understand all of the hatred towards M&M and his client. She has a very valid case and I see no scam here.
It's about time people come forward and let the killer know they're not going to stand idly by and let her ruin their lives. I wish ZG could sue Baez too.
But I have a feeling he'll be getting his soon.
