Saw this on social media and came to start a thread. She should be pretty easy to identify with the pictures and tattoos.
The woman, believed to be between 20 and 30 years of age, was found shot to death on Easter Sunday.
“Officers found the woman's body just before 6 p.m. in the woods in...
Also from that article “Toward the end, the kids were left a loaf of bread that was supposed to last them for three to four days.” This is so horrible and hard to understand how it could happen. I imagine these poor babies are somewhat feral.
I checked into that article. It was an accident that happened while Heather was in the hospital and the survivors from that crash were taken to the same hospital. If you look at the comments on the support page under where the article was posted, you can see it was a different accident.

The whole situation is heartbreaking in so many ways. The loss of tourism makes it even worse. So many people impacted.
Here’s an update from the National Park Service. Hurricane Helene Recovery - Blue Ridge Parkway (U.S. National Park Service)
“National Park Service assessment teams are...
They’ve been scrambling out of Liberty since Saturday. They had to assess the situation before they could safely move in a large number of troops. The area is complete chaos.
Thanks for keeping this thread updated with news from Appalachia. The situation there is very, very bad and it should be top news across the US. I’ve experienced hurricane floods in southeast NC. Things were very bad, with people in my community loosing everything, but this is a thousand...
