The self-checkout cameras are incredibly unforgiving. Another reason to never commit a crime beyond the very obvious ones... risk of those photos being released to the public...! (all IMO and just a lighthearted joke about how I look in the self-checkout cameras)
The FBI shared these photos, and specifically says they are all from the morning she went missing. Unless the FBI is being intentionally misleading, it's unlikely that they are from a different night or a dry run. They specifically state "the morning of her disappearance."
I'm watching the NBC Olympics coverage, and they just broke in with a breaking news update about the person detained. One thing I found interesting- one reporter asked the other a question, and he replied back with (my paraphrasing follows) saying that they don't want to share any details that...
Yes I'm aware. The comment I was responding to asked why they couldn't get footage of NG arriving home around 9:45pm. IMO, Google was able to retrieve more footage than has been released to the public. I haven't seen anything confirming that they couldn't get any other footage from that evening.
Early in this thread, there was a lot of discussion about why Spencer's coworkers and friends contacted 911 and went to the house so quickly- within an hour or two of when he was expected at work. There was a lot of chatter on here about how he was a dependable employee, with patients waiting...
I live in another city with alleys (Chicago), and I have a motion-activated camera on my garage facing the alley. Just a few notes from my experiences with this set-up, may or may not be relevant here but sharing some factors:
- If any of those cameras are motion sensing, there's no guarantee...
Agreed, the context matters a lot. I've worked in very informal work environments where people came and went at all hours, and we never would have reacted that way over an hour of tardiness. I've also worked in very structured work environments, located in areas that get bad winter weather, and...

It says he was reported missing to the San Francisco Police Department. From article: "Mangione’s mother, Kathleen Mangione, made the report to the San Francisco Police Department on Nov. 18, according...
He RTed and commented on an interesting blend of content on his X account. Lots of posts about the success of civilization/society (fall of Roman Empire content, etc), and some commentary on gender/gender roles (childlessness, masculinity), and psychedelics. He followed Joe Rogan, RFK Jr...
IMO... I don't think CEOs need to be actively involved with denial decisions in order to become the figurehead associated with the processes and organization. It comes with the territory of being the leader. Everything that happens at your company becomes your responsibility, even if you don't...
Adding on to this: Per their house rules, they don't accommodate anyone who lives within 75 miles. That would also include parts of NJ and CT.

Insight in to his schedule and habits would certainly help but even without that, it would be easy to make an educated guess. It's unlikely he'd be leaving at say, 6am. And he definitely needs to be there by 8am. I feel like the shooter was really only working with an appx 90 minute window...
Agree- my grad school was similar. I arrived in very early August for an orientation a few weeks before classes started. Some other programs on campus arrived even earlier for a "boot camp" type of learning week prior to the actual semester starting. It's really variable in my experience, but it...
I completed a PhD program (different field, different institution), and wanted to share my thoughts on this. PhD candidates aren't a massive group on campus, however, graduate students in different programs wouldn't necessarily know each other. It's likely he knew the other folks who joined the...
