I don't get why the defense would even dispute BPD anyway. It's a gift in a way. Borderline's a lot more treatable than other PDs, they experience emotion on a much further ranging scale than some other PDs, and they're not typically known to be overtly violent towards others. Undoubtedly, many even often have a childhood history of abuse that may have led to the disorder itself.
Seems totally spinnable to me...unlike psychopathy, my dx.![]()
I was just thinking. And I'm no brainiac. But .... what if Juan was anticipating this move by the defense and that was the reason that he did not bring out all of the "cluster b" (hope I got that right) testimony with respect to JA's Borderline personality disorder. There was obviously something that was NOT addressed ... say ... maybe "psychopathy, sociopathy" etc. I think (for some reason) she is more complicated than just a straight-lined "Borderline". I think there are other aspects.
And maybe that is JUST what the prosecution wants. But, in the long run I guess the premeditation evidence is overwhelming and .. well .. nomatter what they do, she's goin' down .... just like ... this ... :drink:
