See, it is the principle of it too that is important. IMO if there is no legal basis to grant this wish, then the judge should say NO and stay firm to her decisions and make a good decision that will stick up to any appeals.

There should be no granting of defense wishes just because the judge is afraid of appeals. So long as her decisions are sound, there should not be a problem. They are going to appeal regardless, so there is no need to bend for sillly reasons if the reasons are not valid.

But like Eiglarsh said tonight, we DO NOT want them to do a re-trial.

What was stuck in her widget in her backside photo wasn't discussed during the trial. Just go look at that photo and it's plain as day that she has a tootsie roll stuck in her widget in that photo. There is not candy there. It is her inner labia, and when she's on her back, the labia are hanging down the opposite way. I'm sick of hearing this--there was no candy there! She was asked about the photos on the stand, and that was never mentioned. It was only mentioned in a previous sex romp--and is the reason she missed Lonny's baptism...she was using candy in a sex act with Travis.

To me, the fact she rented a car at all speaks volumes ... if she was so hot for Ryan Burns and not just using him as part of her alibi, why didn't she just get a R/T airline ticket from Redding/Sacramento to SLC and have Ryan pick her up ? Certainly, that would have been cheaper than what she spent on gas and rental car ... more proof of premeditation if you ask me as IMO, there were no stops made by Arias other than to secure items for the murder.

I have been of the belief that Jodi Arias photography 'career' was nothing more than an excuse to invite herself places (Havasupai... The Grand Canyon... parties... weddings- she might otherwise never have been invited to) and as an excuse to get close to people (and cross personal space and boundaries), nothing more, nothing less.

It certainly afforded her all kinds of time with Travis she may have never otherwise had (pictures in his office, shaving, traveling etc.)... a ruse, a guise, a con, a grift. Ugh!:banghead:

Actually, I don't think the people on here hate LaViolette or something like that. In fact, I found her to be genuine at times (like for instance when she was talking about her clients and stories she's seen, anytime not talking about Jodi specifically). Now in the rest of the world, I don't know, I personally haven't read articles about her or gone to her website or anything.
I understand your point, however Alyce has a stage to talk about domestic violence issues - she does conferences and writes books, etc.. This was not a stage for LaViolette. She was there for a specific purpose, which was to objectively look at Jodi and Travis' relationship to see if there was abuse. IMO, she didn't do that...she took the courtroom as her stage. Well, yes, she has done a lot for women, but in this trial there is a victim who was slaughtered to death, and we have to remember that. The trial is about finding the truth about what happened to him, not how much Alyce has done for women.

Alice did jodi harm. She said jodi shot Travis in the closet. Said she misspoke. She also said jodi told her the knife was on the night stand. Jodi also denied the Enstien comment. Then you have Samuels. Did you see jodis reaction when he said she kicked her mother? She denied it. They both did her harm. Intimidation claims are a smoke screen. Trying to muddy the waters. Also keep in mind that the DT did not bring in a ME to say Travis was shot first.

That answer was a seminal moment for her. She lost a large part of her humanity when she told the jury that Jodi was not the true perpetrator of domestic violence. Some people just go on auto-pilot and stop thinking about their beliefs.

Then her next order of business is to head back to California and tell all of the family members of murdered victims she counseled that their loved ones were actually the perpetrators.
