Watching yesterday again and she does say at one her ADD "condition".

it would also seem that she diagnosed her own self:twocents:

IF she intended to kill herself, why didn't she just turn the gun on herself?

In keeping with the actions of a true sociopath, she valued her agenda above everything else. Why, when she had ample time to off herself, didn't she? Imo, duplicity and cowardice.

Ok, I'm jumpin in now. Can't catch up. I think I may try listening to more trial and posting less today. I missed too much after the 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 comment yesterday due to laughing and posting.

BTW, Here's a video I made from yesterday's testimony;

Jodi Arias - Two Interesting Juror Questions from 3-6-2013 - YouTube

And for our board HO;

It's still funny. In MY juvenile opinion!

JA says everything changed after she saw Travis getting off to a photo of a boy. Really JA? What changed except your claim that you didn't want to marry him? You still wanted to have sex with him, you still said he was great, still stalked and harassed him, still wanted to have him all to yourself. You even said you wanted your kids to play with his kids. Nothing changed because nothing happened.

does everyone else have the Toffany blue screen on AZ Family?

  • #407
Yep on the one she "lost" in gpa's car while getting chinese takeout in 2008 then found by her aunt in 2010 when her aunt was cleaning out the car.

That car must have looked like an episode of Hoarders on wheels. :floor laugh: TWO YEARS?

I am mortified that I typed "Jodi" when I meant Travis. I've since edited the original post. Good gawd, I would never want to hug anything or anyone associated with Jodi Arias. Perhaps Arias' brain scramble fognesia is contagious.

I just assumed you meant travis. The only one I feel sorry for in her family is her little brother, maybe even dad but definitely not the laughing clowns

Grrr:banghead: No...........he.................did...........not.

He was recorded on audio saying that his adult female sexual partner was making sounds that turned him on. He used a metaphor the same way when I call my husband "Daddy" when I'm flirting with him sexually.

It doesn't mean I want to have sex with my father.

Next, you know I thought of something. I think she wanted his family and friends to know that she was the one that did it but wanted to create a scenario where it couldn't be proven and she'd get away with it.

This is why she left the camera in the washing machine where it would definitely stand out.

They knew she was into photography and would immediately connect her with it. But I think she thought the alibi she set up for herself would cover her.

She also thought they wouldn't be able to retrieve the pictures. But why would she put the camera in the washing machine? Why not just take it with her and out in the middle of the desert pull over and drive her car across it smashing it, then just flick the pieces out the window as she drove along the highway.

It's like she wanted them to know she had outsmarted them.

Welcome Elleth! :rocker:

http://www.azcentral.com/community/...di-arias-murder-trial-arizona-live-video.html

Here's the feed I use.

Greetings! :seeya:

I have been stalking this forum for about a week now and I have to say y'all are very entertaining!

I started following this trial by accident, I was curious so I clicked on a link to the live feed. I entered in the middle of Juan Martinez's cross examination, the testimony was x-rated and to be honest I felt sorry for Jodi. I thought Matinez was being mean just to be mean. But like a train wreck you see coming I couldn't stop watching.

Now here I am a week later and all I can say is :what:

The longer she is on the stand the crazier she appears. This women is seriously scary! Now I think Martinez was too easy on her. What possessed the defense to have her testify? Are they hoping the jury will come to the conclusion that she is in fact insane and not give her the death penalty?

I wish I have never clicked on that link! I've seen things that can't be unseen and heard things that can't be unheard, I've lost sleep and have gotten zero done in the last week! And I will never be able to look at a tootsie roll in the same way again.

Will there be a twelve step program for those of us who have become obsessed when this trial is all over?

I'm off to find the live feed again...

Do you think the defendant had any clue that the jurors were mocking her with certain questions?

She didn't seem to be phased by the implications of some of the questions.

I have personally never seen this degree of crazy. While CA could lie like a rug, she didn't seem delusional. I think she realized she was evil but didn't care. This chick? Well, she seems to believe the BS she spins and spews. The medical field should examine her brain.

P.S. Are the questions almost over?

Very interesting observations. I'm sure Jodi knew that some of the jurors were taking digs. But I'll bet Nurmi prepared her for this beforehand, telling her she'd BETTER not get smart with them, or she can forget about beating the death penalty.

Also fascinating is your comparison of Jodi to Casey Anthony. Here's how I see their similarities:
-- Both are bright and have a creative flair (photography & writing)
-- Neither graduated from high school
-- Both were frustrated with their low status in life
-- Both are vain media 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
-- Both are grandiose liars, rivaled only by each other
-- Both use sex as a stepladder for improving their lot in life
-- Both were man-obsessed, needing them as if they were oxygen

But there are big distinctions in their characters, too:

-- Casey let her mother dictate her life until she just snapped -- first fabricating a job, college courses, etc,. and eventually harming her own child for freedom.

-- But Jodi would succumb to no such dictator. She ran away from the comforts of home to live in worse conditions, just to call her own shots.

-- Casey seemed to have normal social skills, could interact in a crowd, and sought attention based on having a fun, party-girl personality.

-- But Jodi seems to struggle in a crowd. All of Travis' friends view her a dead-eyed zombie with nothing to say. Her sexy body language was her best "conversation." Very insecure and introverted.

In the end, I think Casey is unlikely to be a repeat offender. But Jodi? She'd kill again in a heartbeat. In fact, I suspect that's why she bought herself a new gun.

Now every time I see the Travis telling about having a gun to his head and the person threatening him, I think of Jodi and a gun to his head threatening him. I hope that tape get to come in. It would have a great impact this jury.

Jodi really doesn't have much of an imagination. She borrows everything from songs, movies and other people stories.

I wonder who she'll give a shout out today?

IMO for that reason it would never be allowed in. Same reason as the tire slashing stuff

..and I will add, that obstacles he overcame from his childhood make him an even more beautiful person. The fact that he became an ADULT and felt compelled to share his message of overcoming his childhood makes him a very special human being.

I prefer to get to know the victim as well as I can in each case. I dont look at cases this tragic from a sterilized viewpoint of there is a 'victim' and there is a 'defendant' oh well. Travis was a human being and from everything that has been said a very extraordinary person indeed.

I have never said that Travis was a saint and am puzzled to see that even posted. I have never seen another poster label Travis a saint either which makes the labeling of 'saint' by some even more puzzling.

But after reading all that I could possibly read about Travis and his entire life, I think he was a wonderful person. Just because he fell for a decietful sociopath doesnt make him bad but it does makes him human.

Yet Travis touched so many lives in postive ways. Those who have said he changed their lives postively forever. He was kind, caring, loving and had a great outgoing personality even though he had had to endure childhood abuses no child should have to suffer. He did not take that negative in his life and keep hanging onto the negativity. He took the high road of being just the opposite of the parents who abused him. From everyone that knew Travis ...if you needed him for anything he would be there for you. That is a wonderful legacy to leave behind in this very self centered world we seem to live in.

I feel a kinship feeling with Travis......a bond........so strong because I too like Travis could have easily been a domestic violence homicide victim. I feel I understand him and why he did the things he really didnt want to do when it came to his abuser.

Justice will be done but the most important part of this case .......is Travis' death and he is no longer living to continue on to do more great things in his life. Knowing that brings me great sadness.:( It just shouldnt have happened. Travis deserved so much better.

IMO
