Please forgive me if this has been brought up before. Was the holster made up all of a sudden to explain why nothing was messed up in the closet? It was hanging there so she could grab it(the gun) from the holster without moving items or leaving fingerprints. Like I said I am sorry this has been discussed before.

I think she made up the holster story to try to convince everyone it wasn't grandpa's gun. The stolen gun was not in a holster.

Gas cans hold more than their stated amounts to allow for expansion and over filling. It would have held the amount she paid for with no problem.

yes, and sometimes you only have to make one little extra squeeze of the lever to go over the gallon/dollar amount you're shooting for. I'm not sure what JM has showed us so far is actual solid proof that she still had the third can in SLC, but it's a pretty logical conclusion.

And I'm not convinced her denying being in SLC is intentional. She has no clue where she is, she admits being in Sandy, then Jordan where Ryan lives. She has to then go up then left to head through Nevada to get home to California. She does that by driving barely through SLC.. a bit, she probably didn't even realize that...

If you go to Googlemaps and put the address of the Tesoro Gas Station, it is in Salt Lake City right where Rt 215 & RT 80 join. She most likely would have gone that route to Yreka rather than through mountains

I'm not convinced. She may not be the most clever criminal ever, but I find it difficult to believe she would lie about something so easily disproven with documentary evidence. She knew they had her bank records.

I'm not ruling it out either. I hope Juan has some follow up to make this point crystal clear.

You know...I have to say that it was interesting the way he posed the question to Jodi. If my memory serves me correctly he said something like "Would it surprise you that Walmart doesn't have any record of you returning anything on that day?" - paraphrasing there, but he didn't say definitively that he actually had contacted Walmart. Just something that made pause and wonder if he was bluffing.

More malarkey designed to distinguish Travis's imaginary gun from the one she swiped from gram and gramps place.

I think she is pretty consistent in adding to her lies and hoping something sticks or takes attention off the core lies. Guessing.

Gas receipts are clearly marked that it's a gas purchase. They inventory the gas that's received & sold. All places like that do. Profit/loss. It can say at pump #4 @$3.53 per gallon. All of their products are ran through a system & accounted for. So if Jodi bought $19.98 in pop rocks and tootsie pops, the seller would know. Especially if it were gas.
