I do not think anyone is going to call Matt to testify because he is going to plead the 5th, and also because he has put it in writing that he would lie for Jodi.

However, I think this is why Juan keeps hammering on the point that Matt is so loyal to Jodi and he's an ally and would never betray her -- I think Juan is pre-emptively trying to paint Matt as an unreliable witness because he's on the defense witness list.

dh says "brain tap" is when you put the barrel of the gun against the skull. (This must be a "guy term'. I'd never heard of it either.)

The bullet bounces around in the brain because it doesn't have the velocity to exit (break through the other side of the skull once it enters the skull), but it still has mass and velocity after it enters one side of the skull. It hits one side of the skull and can't break through it, so it bounces back to the other side of the skull with less velocity. This "bouncing" can continue.

I'm a little confused. Why would she fill up the gas cans in Salt Lake City -- after she murdered Travis.

I speculated that she ditched the gas cans somewhere in the desert because they were never returned to DB. Her car was full of gas - so what was the need for more gas if she was going home and there was no need to cover her arss at that point?

my mom asked me if anyone thought it was strange jodi said the desert was so hot, yet she carried gas cans in a hot car that could explode. since i live in fl i had to admit we have had gas cans in our van in case of emergency and its very hot at times. same as i leave a gas can outside by lawn mower in heat.. yes i guess i never considered it being too hot, mom watched trial and cnn and nancy grace and shes out state from me. shes an expert on the cases . i like talking of the cases to her on phone, i call and say can you believe what she just said? then we talk about cases - mom has no computer or she would be here too-lol.

While you're at it ask mom about the case of Costco bottled water in the trunk.........with the gas cans.

An ex room mate of Travis and wife on DD now. Wife tells that Jodi would hide in Travis' closet when he was out on a date and Travis would find her there when he came home!

I think once Jodi left Arizona and moved in with her grandparents Travis thought the stalking was over when in truth the threat was escalating.

I was on the edge of my seat. I get so darn excited when he talks about Matt. I believe he has bailed on Jodi whether on his own or the possibility of being charged for something himself. All MOO of course but Matt has stuck out for me the day Juan asked Darryl if he knew Matt was waiting outside of his home when Jodi was there and he said no.

The defense has blown over some really important evidence... (I.E. bank statements) that they should have been looking and preparing her lies for them. It wouldn't surprise me if Matt is another.

Because if she had three cans, then she had enough to go all the way to Mesa and get to Nevada without ever stopping for gas.

If she had three cans, she could not have possibly used all the gas she said she filled up with -- including two stops at gas stations between Pasadena and Mesa, for which there are no receipts.
