So if he's getting death threats, he should have no protection from the police?

He has Daddy, that's all the protection he needs!!

  • #1,022
Why?

Funny, it sure was plausible and said highly likely the other day that a gray
" hoodie sweatshirt" could easily be mistaken for a white tshirt, but now a gray shirt can't be mistaken for a white tshirt? :waitasec:

Everything is weird in this case...:floorlaugh::moo:

He also touches him to move him then looks at his hand and wipes it off. I wonder what that was?!!

His clothes were wet and dirty? An officer would NOT touch blood on someone without gloves.

Who would have ever imagined that there was another side to the Trayvon Martin story?

You know, the story of the wispy African-American lad — he looks to be about 12 years old in the widely circulated, undated family photo (right)— sauntering home through a subdivision carrying nothing but a can of iced tea, Skittles and a cellphone, when hulking neighborhood vigilante George Zimmerman decided to stalk and kill him because he was black? Of how the racist local police then gave Zimmerman a pass based on his flimsy claim of self-defense?

Why in the world would Zimmerman be wearing that big old bulky coat in florida just running to the store in his car?

It doesn't look like big bulky coat. Looks like a thin jacket.

OK well you can go on asserting that you know exactly what happened. I am not vascillating I'm throwing out different hypotheticals BECAUSE WE DON'T KNOW WHAT WENT DOWN EXACTLY and you don't know no matter how steadfastly you claim to.

Whether or not GM committed a crime or acted in justifiable self defense depends on THE FACTS, much of which we don't know.

So if you want to guess and stand by it, go for it, but I'm peace out. Those proclamations only add fuel to a fire that is possibly ---- possibly, unnecessary.

There's nothing wrong with standing up for what I believe. And I will continue to do so in this case for Trayvon. It doesn't matter if you disagree. That's life.

May justice prevail.

Are you seriously trying to suggest that GZ saved people's lives?

:what:

<modsnip>

It was said that if someone let's a possible burglary perp disappear into the neighborhood instead of follow and keep eyes on him so that cops might be able to stop and question, that at least only property will be taken and no lives would be lost and I countered with you don't know that because burgleries often escalate. It was a hypothetical - <modsnip>.

That's all. The person with the wisdom of their crime crystal ball that burglers are harmless to themselves and others was just flat out wrong.

Funny how all of the sudden people that argued otherwise up until now starting to argue that gray in fact can be mistaken for white. Why do you think now that gray could look white and yet you didn't before?

In darkness it would read more as white, where the red would read much darker, maybe even black.

Maybe because it was raining and cold? What of it?

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, MARCH 27, 2012
FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT: [email protected]
PHONE: 407-562-2778
SANFORD, FL – MARCH 27, 2012 – The City of Sanford wishes to clarify a statement made at
today’s press conference related to the police report on the Trayvon Martin case. A reporter
stated that based on the description of the incident on the report, that the officer on scene
wished to have Mr. Zimmerman arrested and charged with the “Uniform Crime Code” listed on
the report. That is not accurate.
All police reports from all law enforcement agencies require a “Uniform Crime Code” to qualify
an incident and for statistical purposes for tracking types of incidents. This code does not
indicate a formal charge that will be lodged against an alleged offender. It is used for internal
processing and to type cases.
Going forward, the City of Sanford and the Sanford Police Department have been directed to
guide all media and other inquiries related to the Trayvon Martin investigation to the Office of
the State Attorney in Jacksonville, Florida at 904-630-2400. The media is advised to address
further inquiries to the State Attorney’s Office.

I, personally, never said gray could NOT look white. What I said is that

1. Zimmerman said Trayvon had on a DARK hoodie
2. It would be hard to mistake a gray HOODIE for a white TSHIRT

Those two things remain true, no matter how you slice it...

:moo::twocents:

The white t-shirt is Zimmerman. IMO

Because he's a 🤬🤬🤬🤬?

I see nothing wrong with what Zimmerman is wearing. I see everything wrong with there not being blood on that t-shirt!

And Zimmerman was not wearing a white t-shirt under his red/black jacket. That also remains true.

I don't even see a scratch let alone someone who's head was slammed to the concrete. Thank goodness we finally have a video.

You would think there would be some redness to the back of his head, since there is not much cushion (fatty) tissue back there. IMO, his head never hit the concrete.

I don't believe that I ever argued that it couldn't.

I had just asked what GZ was wearing under his jacket.

  • #1,037
Hmmm, I just saw the video of GZ being taken in at the LE garage, I didn't see any blood on him, I didn't see a broken nose either , no sign he's been in a fight for his very life :waitasec:

  • #1,038
We know there was a fight? We don't know who physically touched who first? But from the media reports of Zimmerman's injuries... I was expecting a heck of a lot more. Since when do open lacerations not get bandaged up? There's so many risks to LE if they allowed his head to remain openly bleeding.

In that video, I don't see any evidence of injury to Zimmerman. I realize an EMT had checked him out, but I don't believe EMTs clean up a patient so that he looks spotless for TV cameras.

I think there is something on the back of his head.

BBM - WRONG...
While a neighborhood watchman should call 911 if he sees something.
HE CAN ask people to identify themselves.
Questions like do you live around here, or what are you doing around here,
or are you lost, are not at all incorrect he can do that.

I still think he was overzealous, and eager did not want anything bad happen in the neighborhood.

BEING a neighborhood watchman is no great job, especially when you don’t get paid for it. it is a community service.

No.

Zimmerman had no legal authority to ask TM anything, including his name or his business. Even the Police do not have the authority to stop people without cause. And no, being black and walking around is NOT probably cause, nor is running away from weirdo stalkers.

Zimmerman's job was to observe and report. The end.
