Why in the world would Zimmerman be wearing that big old bulky coat in florida just running to the store in his car?

I grew up in Florida (more than 230 miles south of Sanford). It can be cold at night in February, particularly if it is also raining.

This was the best place that highlighted what I'm trying to point out. It's definitely much clearer in full motion than it is frame-by-frame.

It should be pretty evident that he's got something going on, the video is just too low of a resolution and artifact-y to reveal the whole story:

okay, hit your TV's folks because JVM just aired the intake camera at the SPD showing the night that George Zimmerman was taken in for questioning and of course I got a phone call just as it came on, but what I could see was that he had on a red jacket, and a white t-shirt under it, and there was no blood on him that I could see, but as I mentioned someone called just as it came on, but it will be everywhere shortly I am sure, and it is going to be difficult to see if his nose is broken, but it didn't appear so on the bit that I was able to see and I am sure some of us will disagree, but at least we will have something new to see

Who would have ever imagined that there was another side to the Trayvon Martin story?

You know, the story of the wispy African-American lad — he looks to be about 12 years old in the widely circulated, undated family photo (right)— sauntering home through a subdivision carrying nothing but a can of iced tea, Skittles and a cellphone, when hulking neighborhood vigilante George Zimmerman decided to stalk and kill him because he was black? Of how the racist local police then gave Zimmerman a pass based on his flimsy claim of self-defense?

Makes you wonder if this fellow saw the same video we've all just been watching, before he started nattering on about GZ being "pummelled on the ground", "bleeding from the nose and a wound in the back of his head".

Makes you wonder if he'll take the advice he himself dishes out at the end of the column.

I grew up in Florida (more than a hundred miles south of Sanford). It can be cold at night in February, particularly if it is also raining.

Anything under 70 degrees at night is cold to me. I've lived here in Florida for 29 years.

His father is a retired magistrate for the Virginia Supreme Court.

And that would protect him from physical harm from the bounty?

Yes, there clearly is a dark spot on the top of the head.

Besides the fact that about 500 posts in this forum say he had only been treated in the back of the squad car? Unless they've got x ray in that car, no one had packed his nose.

Been there, done that more than once. You haven't lived until they snatch a 6' long strip of gauze out of each nostril with about 4 days worth of dried, caked blood on it.

Thank you, not, for that visual. Blahhhhh. ;)

If TM attacked GZ then GZ was a victim. GZ could have followed TM then realized 'oh 🤬🤬🤬🤬, I shouldn't be doing this' and started to head back to his car. TM could have confronted him and then attacked him. Does anyone expect GZ to not defend himself because it was STUPID for him to try to see where TM was going? No. If he is being attacked he is going to defend himself. GZ is saying he was attacked. He said he was heading back to his vehicle. We are all sleuthing his actions and TM's actions to try to determine the truth. Both young men involved and their families deserve Justice and that can't be determined before ALL the evidence is released and analyzed.

Why is it so difficult to realize that Trayvon was stalked, confronted and shot and killed for NO reason?

Trayvon is the victime here. Not Zimmerman. Nothing that has come out thru the media up to this point shows that Zimmerman was acting in self defense. Nothing.

Also, if it is true that Trayvon had a broken nose, and comes to find out that Zimmerman didn't have a broken nose, after looking at this video... I'm just going to sit back and wait for an arrest.

Oh wait?? What if Trayvon's nose was broken before his encounter with George Zimmerman? Yes, I can hear it coming!
WHAT VIDIOS,
What pictures?

I missed it help.....

Where was the blood on his shirt from his broken nose?

If you strain really hard you can see it. Maybe it's a birth mark! If it were a really bad bash we wouldn't be straining our eyes to see it.

I just meant that there may have been gauze packed up there to stifle bleeding.

I can certainly agree with that.

But, the person in the white t-shirt is George Martin. :moo::twocents:

Who is George Martin?

I don't know how you are going to diagnose someone from a grainy video.

RN's don't diagnose, not within our scope. We observe, assess and report.

You can't even clearly make out that the officer has eyes, barely a face. The video just sucks.

I can't speak for Dr Fessle, but I think it may have been tinged with sarcasm, based on Trayvon's motives being questioned because he wore a hoodie that same night in Fla.

Where was the blood on his shirt from his broken nose?

Where is the blood on his shirt if he shot TM while TM was on top of GZ?
