My understanding was she thought the police were misquoting her and she wanted to set the record straight regarding what she really said.

As far as I can tell they never mentioned her at all.
Since she didn't witness who was on top and who was on the bottom.

So has it been determined yet where GZ's vehicle was when he got out of it while talking to the LE operator?

Can anybody see it in the video? Doesnt play on the iPad :(

I haven't seen it, I was "assuming" which I'm not totally clear on, his vehicle was up toward or close to the beginning of the cut through when he got out while talking to the LE operator.

BBM -- I hope the FBI has the footage. I don't have a lot of respect for the local police there at this point. mmo
Yea, that's what I meant. The FBI and DOJ are on the case now - just habit for me to say LE - KWIM? Plus I would think the FBI have quite a bit more pull when they walk into a tv station and ask for their film.

"You got me" sounds like line from an old movie. I think George had a fantasy about himself being a hero. Calling 911 on the neighbors wasn't enough of a thrill for him anymore, he needed more, he needed a perfect storm to happen to live out his hero fantasy and become captain George the neighborhood watch hero. He probably saw himself accepting accolades and ceremonies in his honor in his daydreams. I really think George has a mental illness, but knows right from wrong. JMO

I was thinking the same thing! I doubt he was able to say anything at all!

Whether he could talk or not depends on where he was shot.

According to police, she submitted a sworn statement. According to her, she submitted a sworn statement. She would have written and signed an affidavit. I'm not sure how anyone but herself could have "misquoted" her in this instance.

Does anyone think that a potential and probable lawsuit of the homeowners association might effect the memory of the witnesses? And I don't mean outright lie, I mean be less sure of what they remember on the stand.

Absolutely! It is all over the Net by various attorneys that if the homeowner's association does not have insurance, each of the homeowners will have to pay out-of-pocket for any awards from the civil suit that they feel will most assuredly come.

Not only that, they also say the homeowners might be responsible for paying for Zimmerman's legal defense because the homeowner association newsletter informed them that Zimmerman was acting as the "captain of the watch" ... and the homeowner's association newsletter stated Zimmerman was the one to contact if they could not contact the police.

I dare say that when the homeowners find out that they might have to pay out-of-pocket for ANY of this mess, their memories might suddenly vanish.

IMO No one is trying to make TM look bad.The truth needs to come out ,the whole truth. As you can see when people hide things if does make others wonder why.Not only the family but also all media went with a picture of GZ that makes him look 100lbs more then he is.Between the 2 photos a true representation of both parties was not given.JMO

Respectfully, it's quite a stretch to claim no one is trying to make TM look bad. I don't know if I have heard even a single fact about this kid that hasn't been spun by someone to try and make it sound sinister, including that the kid had twenty bucks in his pocket. There were even some posts HERE about that.

In fact, even the criticism of the photos has this at it's core. The subtext behind the criticism is that he looks far too nice and way too innocent in the early images, and how dare the media release a picture like that.

Seriously? I have a ton of black friends (young and old) and NO ONE says "Homie" anymore... I'm in FL too so I'm having a hard time believing this account of the "facts"

That jumped out to me as well. Pretty ridiculous in my opinion. :twocents:

I know. I don't know what way TM's family should have proceeded? It looks like determining an arrest of GZ will be who was the first physical aggressor. witnesses would be important.

It come straight from the witness.IMO a man named Tracey is easy to mix up there was a woman beside him.John talked we can hear his voice.

There are several other witnesses that contradict what he says. I guess it just depends on what you want to believe happened.

The autopsy is going to tell a story about what he could have done after he was shot. Zimmerman might have sunk his own boat.

Whether he could talk or not depends on where he was shot.
Seriously? Do you really think he could utter a word after the sudden trauma his body and mind suffered?
