They don't have anything to sue for, yet.
Oh yes they do.
They don't have anything to sue for, yet.
He was already out of the car, and GZ reporting on TM's movements led the dispatcher to question, Are you following him now? in which GZ replied "yes" and then dispatch said, "we don't need you to do that" I have thought that when TM left the road and went to the sidewalk behind the homes that he was trying to shake GZ off cause he was in a vehicle.
HLN has confirmed that Sanford Police records show that Zimmerman did call police on February 2.
Zimmerman's complaint on the city's website from February 2 says, "Black male (leather jacket, black hat, printed PJ pants) keeps going to the residence which is owned by a white male. Black male subject in question was gone upon police arrival." The complaint also lists an address that matches Taaffee's residence.

Has it been confirmed that there really was a robbery in progress there?
Any signs of forced entry? Anything stolen?
Someone could be playing the hero stopping non-existent burglaries in progress.
Well, from experience, you take the bag of peas out of the freezer that you have just for these occasions of needing ice quickly to prevent swelling. (Everyone, you do have a bag of peas in your freezer right now don't you for these unexpected needs of trying to icepack a curved area? :floorlaugh: I did and do!) The ER doctor said go to another doctor in 2-3 days, "nothing we can do for you now" (except give a prescription for pain).
Spend 99 cents, get a bag of peas for your freezer :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:
BTW - The ER doc said that the swelling was the least that he had seen ...as within 30 seconds, that bag of peas was on the face! :twocents::twocents:
HUH?
Has anyone heard or read anything about THIS?
You have to live it to understand it, honestly. It isn't by any means a hard and fast rule, but it is a common line of thinking. I've been told various things.....that calling the cops won't do any good, since they will take their time, if they come at all. That they won't take you seriously. I've been told running makes you look suspicious and if cops are around it makes them want to stop you and ask you about why you're "acting funny."
I'm just repeating a tiny bit of what I remember off the top of my head what some teens at work have told me. These are very common perceptions, among many, that I've heard from mostly non-white teens and even adults.

Saying that it would not have happened if TM stayed home that night is just a red herring defense! TM did NOTHING illegal that we know of, it's just as accurate to say that nothing would have happened if GZ had stayed home that night!
Oh but TM wasn't the one driving around with a loaded gun on his person, TM wasn't the one calling the police because he saw a black male teenager walking down the street, TM wasn't the one stalking someone just because he was a black male teenager, TM didn't do one thing wrong, but GZ sure did, and TM paid the price!
OMG
No papa - haven't heard this AT ALL. About a week ago - remember that one local TV station was reporting something about TM and 911. We all concluded that it was a "mis-leading" statement and they were talking about GZ's 911 call OR the 911 call showing on TM's records that was made on 3/2.
Wow! This could be huge. Why wasn't that showing on that screen shot of that page of phone records that we have? How could TM have had time to call 911 during the incident? Or, maybe TM called 911 BEFORE the gf called him? They why wouldn't he have told the gf that he had called 911?
Ugh!!! :banghead: hate when the media does this carp!
JMHO
How do you know he brandished his gun? Did TM know he had a gun? He may well have been attacked by TM, who was angry about being followed. SYG would certainly apply in that instance. TM could have escalated the situation into a physical conflict.

GZ didn't do anything illegal either. Gun was legal. He wasn't trespassing. Both statements are red herrings because both people had a right to do what they did UNTIL the physical fight started...that is where we need answers imo. If GZ was attacked by TM and acted in self defense, he did NOTHING wrong.

It's a pretty stunning statement, but then, everything Taaffe says makes me go :waitasec:Thank you so much for finding that. I hadn't seen the entire thing. I guess what I saw was a replay on another news program as they only showed the part about, "if you plant corn, you get corn". As I said, the other members of the panel were flabbergasted.
Amazing, isn't it? smh

Examiner Blog posts are not considered MSM media articles here on Websleuths, for just this reason.
