You make it sound so simple. It's all so simple.
Yep, sitting there listening to a self serving apology from the man who killed your son. Simple. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

He said he told the officer that night that he was sorry. But if it wasn't recorded on a report somehow, it doesn't matter.
BTW, any defense attorney will tell you not to contact the victims family in the early going.
I expected him not to take the stand at all. That was a feeble and gratuitous apology, forced on TMs parents when they clearly stated they didn't want to hear from him.
So the oldest teen would be 19 so you think 9 years is just a little younger? that is 1/3 of George's lifetime.I believe Zimmerman himself is only 28.

That night.
Dispatcher: Ok
GZ: He's got his hand in his waistband. Yeah, he's a black male
Dispatcher: Ok, how old would you say he is
GZ: He's got a button on his shirt
He's late teens
Dispatcher: Late teens, ok

I thought he was just a little younger then me.
and yet again why does O'Mara need to run out and jump right in front of the cameras?

The judge allowed the prosecutor to ask the question, and get an answer, and when asked if he remembered an email to Martin's father, he said no he didn't recall it. At that point, the Pros basically sat back down, without pursuing it although I don't think there were any objections to that questioning.
agreed....
and wow, everyone would be up in arms if he hadn't used the opportunity to apologize. no matter what he does it will be ripped apart.

This occurred in a court of law. GZ is the defendant. GZ has the right to be heard, or have his lawyer speak for him. Anyone who doesn't want to hear from GZ should consider avoiding the courtroom. Justice is when both sides are heard, not just one and not just what one side wants to hear. Just think of the horrors Dr. Petit had to sit through! That's our system, like it or not.
