Crump doesn't even bother to answer the question. I think O'Mara is going to do a great job and I think he is feigning the good old boy act - puts people off guard. JMO
IMO, absolutely - they tried to reach Crump to extend a personal apology, he didn't return the calls and he didn't deny receiving them. Sybrina asked for an apology the day GZ was arrested, he apologized knowing they would hear it.
What games? This was back in the very beginning, before the bond hearing even. Please tell me what games O'Mara was playing with Crump back then?
What could O'Mara possibly have to say that TM's parents want to hear ? I find it very unusual that the lawyer of a defendant keeps calling the victims family lawyer.
O'Mara blurts out GS's name at hearing
O'Mara fails to tell the court about GZ's windfall
O'Mara claims not to know about GZ's website
O'Mara claims not to know that TM's parents said an apology was to little to late at this time MOO
I wouldn't answer his calls either :censored:
The calls were before any of those things you listed, IIRC.
As to your question, what could O/Mara possibly have to say---why jump to the conclusion that he had nothing important to say?
GZ's courtroom apology will go down in history as one of the sorriest examples of an "apology" ever given. The Martins didn't want a public apology in the courtroom that day. I think MO'M knew that and took a gamble. It didn't pay off this time. "I'm sorry for the loss of your son" is NOT an apology for killing him.
Watch the first minute of this video, when George is saying he is sorry he is looking directly at OMara. Why is OMara standing there?

I don't blame Mr. Crump at all for not returning O"Mara's call. He probably knew it would be just one fib after another.

My quote about John not mentioning on his 911 call that he "was already outside" was worded badly. Sorry, I was in a super rush to leave and didn't double-check before posting.Do you have a link to any article where John says he was outside?
I don't know why he would assume that at that point in time, given OMara's solid reputation in the legal arena.
Even if you did think someone might lie to you, you don't even return their call? What if he had some important info concerning Trayvon's case?
I based my understanding on stories in which reporters have said John told them he was outside and then went inside. ICBW.Nowhere in that article or the video does John say he was outside and went back inside.

There wasn't much time between the previous lawyers resigning, MOM being retained, and the arrest. You make it sound like weeks, it wasn't. By the time the other lawyers resigned, an apology was certainly off the table. How many months did GZ have to apologize? How many interviews did his family do and they never showed one ounce of sympathy for Trayvon and his parents. A little too late. IMO, JMO

I meant to say that John does not indicate during his 911 call that he had previously witnessed the fighting while he was outside; not that he was outside while calling 911. HTH
OMara makes $6.66 a minute working as a lawyer. Why should Crump call him and help him make more money?
