I am a little confused on how the visits happen. So it's not like at a prison where they are talking across from each other but they are in two separate locations and are speaking by phone/webcam?

So if say they wanted to carry on a secret conversation, they could write what they really wanted to say on a piece of paper and hold it up to the camera for the other person to see? If that were to happen would it be caught on the videos?

Sorry if this is confusing but well, I am kind of confused about the issue and not sure how to explain it!

Loved it when MK said Ron was living with 3 kids. LOL. Gonna go listen to the full uncut tapes.

Hoping they find you soon, sweet baby.

i am afraid that the longer this goes on, the less chance it will ever be proven or solved...
unless LE has something they aren't telling, but if that is the case, then why no grand jury indictments?

i never would have thought they could hold out for a whole year so what's to say they won't keep holding on? especially if their drug sentences do not end up being enough to make them talk...a few years, even 10, vs. up to life for possible murder charges might not seem so bad to them...

Justice delayed isn't always justice denied.

Night everyone.

It's also fairly typical for Narcissists. They can't take responsibility. They don't properly separate from parents/children. They see their parent/child as a mere extension of their own self. (no boundries). The NPD parent owns the child's accomplishments. (Or rationalizes away the child's failures.) The NPD child sees the parent as an extension of themselves as well, and has an infantile relationship (no boundries) with the parent.

We've got a double NPD goin' on here with Ron & TN

(snip) N/k... I'm afraid I know all I wanna know (and THEN some!) re NPD and pathological narcissists lol. You're so right tho you pegged it. Enmeshment, merging, no boundaries, zero tolerance for criticism, and extremes--TN's alternately either idealizing or villifying these girls, eesh talk about the MIL from downunder.

Oh yeah!! Why isn't she already out and amongst 'em? Show them what a
bad azz tough girl she is.

Yeah, that head and shoulder shakin' response to Mamma Croslin said it all, didn't it? "I'm not taking this Yit anymore, I'm standing up for myself"

And what would that be? *snork*

Yeah right... wait till you get with the Reeally bad ones who are real Moms in general population, not 18 yr. olds in a 12 yr. old's mind set, who think they can fool the world. I'm counting down the days till you break Misty.

The sad news is it's very hard to recover from knowing one (NPD) intimately. But I guess the good news is if you're fortunate enough to survive, you learn to spot 'em from a mile away... and get the #ell outa the way.

RONALD CUMMINGS: She just said she`s going to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.

NEVES: Yes, but you`re helping them.

RONALD CUMMINGS: I`m not helping them do anything but look for Haleigh because I can`t work for them just because I`m on the news like that, man. I can`t go anywhere in the nation without someone knowing me, you know? Every time someone walks in, they go, Is that the guy from the news?

Wait, did he tell his mom he was going to be a secret agent that traveled the country working for the cops?

The more I see & read-& I've seen & read too dam*ed much-I think Ronald needs to be on suicide watch, (that dude is crazy & his mama is making him worse), & Misty needs a CHILD psychologist.

All this talk now from LC about how much she misses her daughter and wishes she could see her but ya can't help wonder where her mom was when Misty was tryin to grow up and really needed her mom to be there. Really sad.

If they let Misty out into general population, it's the general population we need to be concerned for, not Misty. She will suck the life out of them, and they'll all be wandering around the jail bumpin' off the walls like her parents & Tommy.

Ron would commit suicide no more than he'll ever accept an ounce of responsibility for what happened to Haleigh. nuh uh. No worries there. IMO.

I'm thinking they're fairly close to having what they need, but want to be absolutely sure they have enough evidence to convict. They don't want to take the chance that the guilty party/parties might walk on a technicality or small piece of missing info. If that happened, they wouldn't get a second chance to try them.

if misty really isn't scared then she has to be dumb...and if she is that dumb, how did she hold off during all of the interrogations for a year? this is what does not make sense to me...I am 50 and know i could not hold up under that if i knew anything at all, i would end up spilling it, even if it implicated me...i am sure she was screamed at, told she was a killer, etc...and yet nothing...
how does she do it?

Can't say what's really on my mind or I'll be zapped.

They can't ask her a thing about Haleigh....she will ask for her attorney and that is the end of convo. Same with RC.

Once they lawyered up....all interrogations stopped. Ron and Misty lawyered up early.
