By high maintenance I mean maybe she needed a lot of medical attn,in the form of dr visits. Some kids have lots of allergies, low immunity, etc.I know someone with a child like that so it does happen.

I have posted before in the past about the mold in the basement room possibly contributing to some of JonBenet's health problems, so I have to jump in an add this again. I know that allergies can also cause some intestinal upsets, but I've never read that JonBenet actually had the soiling problem except for the time that the housekeeper found some on the bed, which could have happened suddenly during the night when ill.

I just finished reading PMPT and was relieved to read how distraught both parents were in the days/months that followed JB's death. I hope that it means that they truly loved their daughter, for up until I read the book, I had my doubts.

There were a couple of things that caught my attention:

1) I thought it was very odd that Patsy remained in the sun room after hearing John scream that he found JB. Everyone but her ran to his side.
2) Burke (or someone) asking "What do I do?' on the enhanced 911 tape, and then "What did you find?" Why would someone ask "What do I do?" unless they were asking for instructions.
3) John suddenly remembering that Santa told JB that he would be visiting her Christmas night, when giving his opinion of the pineapple snack.
4) John calling his pilot to take them to Atlanta only a few hours after finding JB's body. I can't imagine how he could leave her.
5) Patsy claiming that she had to step over the ransom note on the spiral staircase, yet the detectives said it was almost impossible to do without losing your balance or falling forward.
6) Patsy and John both claiming that JB went straight to bed Christmas night, while Burke and John stayed up assemblying a toy. Did the police ever ask Burke if JB stayed in bed that night?
