I'm having the same problem. I have been trying for 2 days now. It's very frustrating!! :banghead:

Try this:

Right click on the link and save as a WMA file. It will go straight into your windows media file folder...
It will be in your music folder and then you can just click on it and it will play.
You can delete it from your computer later if you want. I just download them when I want to listen because the links don't work with me either.

I am not very computer literate - but is it possible you have pop ups blocked which won't let the media player open and that is why it is going to try and save the audio tape?

I understand the logic that's being used here with it having to be a Friday, but I found other times when George was home and I thought he should have been at work...like the day of the gas can incident (the 24th). George was home and it surprised Casey. Does he say what time of day he caught her? I think he may have not been working in June...or worked a different schedule. His new job started around the time this case broke IIRC.

I think the poster said a Sat. (21 or 28), remember Casey was busy running out of gas on Fridays (20 & 27).........you also have to allow for Cindy being present too.

GA did say the e-z pass records could date it, but no telling how long 'til we know.

I tried that yesterday, took more than 2 hours to "download" and then at 99% it said it couldn't save it (can't remember what it said as to why). :furious:

Thanks, I already made sure pop ups were not blocked.

It will start to play, then it stops, then it plays for about 5 seconds, then stops, and keeps doing that.

That sounds like your internet connection speed is not very fast and so the video is being buffered. When enough of the clip is buffered, it plays -- then stops while the next portion of it is buffered in. This happens at work if we try to play videos and our IT person says it is the connection speed and a modem issue. We're working on replacing both.

A bit OT but not really.

Something I noticed in relation with George's and Cindy's interviews. George keeps referring to Cindy as MY WIFE (a more emotional way to describe his wife) while Cindy kept referring to him as GEORGE. Telling the LE you should ask George, George will remember this, George was working that weekend, George this and that.

While George kept saying MY WIFE was working, MY WIFE AND I, MY WIFE was thinking of visiting my parents, MY WIFE etc etc.

I found that really interesting. I am not sure it means anything but still I found it very interesting.

GameTheory this is something I really noticed too. Lee also always refers to Casey as my sister. My brother when speaking about his wife and daughter, always does the same....my wife, my daughter instead of using their first names. It was quite a few years ago I hunted up the reason people may do this and read they usually are possesive, feels ownership, and jealous type. Not sure what to think.

I am trying hard to catch up on this thread. George's interview was short yet powerful, leaving me with many questions.

Right. In listening, clearly something was up other than gas cans.

What day was this incident again? (sorry guys)
My original theory was that Caylee died on the 16th or soon after and that Casey buried her under or near the playhouse (where the cadaver dogs hit). The theory then goes to the 24th as the date she went back to the house and put Caylee in the trunk, and then disposed of her between the 24th and the 27th.

Now with the new discovery docs, I need to sit down and sort this all out. I have company so have to tone down my time spent doing so until tonight.

I don't know the exact date that Casey told Amy the squirrel story, but on 6/27 she texted her that "there was definitely part of a dead animal plastered to the frame of my car." That's the date the car was first seem at Amscot. On that same day she told Amy that her car ran out of gas and noted that it had ran out of gas the previous Friday as well. Then on 6/29 Casey texted Amy and asked to borrow her gas cans, so she may have been thinking of retrieving the car that day (or making a show that she was).

If only LE could put us on the payroll!

After all the info that was "dumped" on us this past Friday - I am beginning to feel like a TV audience right as they are going to reveal the correct answer - "and the answer is....................coming right up after this message"!!! By that I mean - GA and this "car chase" - that has bothered me from the minute I heard it. I watched CA's interview first and caught that at the end - when YM asked her about KC borrowing HER vehicle (the SUV). So, I immediately went to GA's interview and yep - there it is.

Now GA knows it was KC because he said he saw her pulling out of the driveway - so no mistaken identity there. While he's chasing her - he calls CA and she tells him no/ WTH?

If he saw her leaving out hte driveway - then CA had to have been home at the time.

WHY WHY WHY didn't LE ask about when or how they got the SUV back? Did KC return it home? And, if so, how did she then get to Tony's (or wherever she was going)? Or, did she "leave it somewhere" and then call CA or GA to "go get it - it's at so and so"?

Either way, this event took place, and is very relevant to this case, and CA is denying denying denying. WHY?

Oh I wish we could see the E-pass history on CA's card.

I'm really curious about how the car was returned as well! They must have asked about it, don't you think?

Keep digging, you'll see where KC called JG on th 28th (for gas), texted Amy (29th) was @ Amy's (30th @ 9AM) ready to go buy a gas can......

My conclusion now is, she really did run out of gas (27th), tried 3 times to retrieve it, & prolly didn't use the dumpster @ amscot for anything.......

To me it seems there is LOTS of info coming out in the docs that LE doesn't persue/seem interested in......hopefully some of these folks will be questioned again & nailed down about times/dates as LE builds the case for the next set of charges.

Slightly O/T:
During the interview when GA is talking about the incident with the gas cans inside Casey's car, GA says that Casey told him "here's your 🤬🤬🤬*ing gas cans." WTF?

My parents would have knocked my teeth out if I spoke to them that way, regardless of how old I was. When I was growing up, there was no misunderstanding when it came to respecting our parents. And today, as a parent myself, I can assure you that if my daughter ever spoke to me like that, well let's just that she'd be sportin' a permanent set of full dentures.

oh - I give LE a whole lotmore credit than that - those questions (the 100 million dollar ones) have been asked and answered in subsequent interviews - and I bet those interviews will not be released until trial. They have GA tell them about this car chase and then they ask CA about it and she denies it - so BACK to GA and ask more.

I had a thought while I was making lunch about this car chase. What if CA was IN THE CAR? She could have been bent over doing something, diggin in her purse, whatever and GA didn't see her initially and then KC picked him up in the rear view and say something so CA kept her head down. GA called CA - but did he call her on her cell? If so then he could have THOUGHT CA was a home - when she was actually in the truck - and that could be why CA told GA "don't go after her". But, again, another some more million dollar questions come from this: where were they going? why was CA and KC going anywhere? why did CA want GA NOT to find out?

See, I didn't hear it that way at all. He didn't say he called Cindy or spoke with Cindy during the chase. He said Casey had taken the car (I got the impression this wasn't the first time, but I can't say why) and he was "tired of all the evasion." or something along those lines. He wanted to follow Casey and Cindy had told him no. But not necessarily at that moment.

What I think is that, during the last 2 years as GA got more and more suspicious, he had wanted to follow Casey and see where she was going. Cindy persuaded him that he was being paranoid or ridiculous or that he would drive Casey away and they'd never see Caylee again or WHATEVER, so he relented to appease her.

But then he happened to come home, maybe stop by on his break or even coming home from work after 11 (Cindy may have even been in bed and Casey planned to return the car by morning!) - but GA just happened to be in his car and saw Casey pulling out in Cindy's car and on a total impulse he decided to follow her.

From what the LEO said, I got the impression that he NEVER TOLD CINDY about this incident, and relayed that to the FBI. The FBI told Cindy while they were sharing all of Casey's lies and such with her, trying to get her to see the light. I think Cindy was pissed b/c GA had not told her AND it made her look either like a liar or like she didn't know what was going on in her own house, so the LEO was apologizing for how it was handled, and said he would have handled it differently.

ok angelmom - I'll go with maybe GA didn't talk to CA about it at the time. What I want to know - so very badly - is when and where and how did CA's truck get returned to her? If KC brought it back home - how did she get back to TL's or RM's or wherever she stayed that night? Did KC abandon it at a parking lot and call and tell the GP's where to go get it? I kinda remember saying George saying it was dyatime - but middle of night could be possibility - and someone could have followed KC back to thouse when she brought it back - but wouldn't have GA been sitting there waiting like a spider to pounce on her when she showed back up? Those are questions I want answered pronto! lol

George makes many references to his wife's temperament. He sounds like he is a beaten down man in a situation that he is trapped in. I am really surprised we haven't heard more about his private side, not that it is any of our business. He seems to fit the profile of a completely miserable man, imho.

Thanks, I already made sure pop ups were not blocked.

It will start to play, then it stops, then it plays for about 5 seconds, then stops, and keeps doing that.

Mine does the exact same thing, so frustrating!:banghead:
