Well, since people are still conjecturing if KC will make a deal I'd say the answer is a flat NO considering the way her family is going all stops publically, to to beef up her defense. Lame. Pitiful. Outrageous.

What gets me about this: for months all we have seen is the Anthony's bashing the media, the protestors, Tim Miller, just about everyone.

Now: Casey is crying, George was practically crying in front of the cameras this AM, and Cindy doing interviews like a Celebrity.

If Casey had shown remorse and looked for her daughter from Day 1, the public would have been more empathetic. Look where there arrogance got them.

She will get Life, and I said that from Day 1!

Exactly!!! The defense strategy should have been to play for as much of the general public's empathy and support as possible and provide propaganda to reinforce their support base.

KC absolutely precluded that with her lies "from day one" and the A's further impacted and exacerbated it with their animosity and obvious lies. They do still have a small amount of support, however.

That is what is frustrating and handicapping the defense and upsetting JB -- that the media is inflamed and working against any message or spin they have and it has made it very hard, if impossible to recover.

Defense can usually spin and win the hearts and minds of many, influencing the future jury pool. In this case, it has been bizarre and a hard lesson is learned by the A's -- fighting and making enemies of everyone is counterproductive. Doh!!

Damage control. I too believe that had this been stopped a long time ago, the LE was open to it being accidental and cutting KC a break despite her lies. The harder the A's force this into their own reality and drag it on and on the worse it gets for KC -- now she is facing Murder 1.

When will they learn? It isn't about KC searching for Caylee but talking. Tell what she knows, bring Caylee home and -- cut a deal. How badly do you want to lose?

I can take a guess on what they are going to say in the courtroom to make us sit back and say, "That explains it . . .. "

The story is going to go like this:

Z stole the child in June. Told Casey that if she contacted the police, parents, etc, she would not only harm Caylee -- but would harm her family also.

This is why they are saying, "Casey will look like a hero." By doing this -- Casey not only saved Caylee from getting hurt -- but she also saved her family from being kidnapped / hurt also.

Unfortunately -- most of us live in reality. I doubt "Z" told Casey to go to a hot body contest, steal checks, etc.

Of course -- if this was the "true scenario" -- they could have told this to LE already.

Seeing we already know their defense, and it's a complete sack of crap, what's next? Is that the best they could come up with? If that is their story -- might want to start firing up "Old Sparky"

Reported on Fox 35 and WFTV - Cindy left the house at 6 AM, all dressed up, picked up in a limo - looks like a morning show interview for sure.

Not sure what show it'll be, but she was DEFINITELY dressed for a TV appearance.

Wonder if she's getting paid?

Someone said yesterday that the Anthonys were "shopping" around so I would venture that Cindy won't do anything that swhe isn't paid for. moo. "Shopping" around sure isn't going to find Caylee.

It's really no wonder that Casey is such a mess. Look at her parents. Every minute I had I would have my face in front of the camera begging for whoever has Caylee to bring her home, just drop her off somewhere no questions asked, and it will be OK. I have yet to hear any of them do that, which speaks volumes to me. I think Casey killed Caylee, lied to her parents about it (said it was an accident or whatever) and Cindy is attempting to keep Casey out of prison. Casey is clearly a sociopath (totally narcissistic, liar, no emotion,lack of personal responsibility, etc...classic) and it appears Cindy might be. George must feel like he's crazy. I know I do just watching this circus. I have said it before, if Casey was my daughter, I'd beat the truth out of her. :furious:

As another 50 year-old mother, I would like to smack some sense into this woman's head! Her stupidity is helping NO ONE. Some say we should excuse her because she is griefstricken. If so, then why doesn't she do something that might actually benefit her daughter and bring Caylee home, one way or another.

The most condemning evidence against Casey right now is her failure to report the incident, whatever that might turn out to be; her callous behavior in the weeks prior to July 15th; and her refusal to cooperate with LE afterward. Any mitigating circumstances that her defense attorney manages to pull out of a hat will be overshadowed by those three facts.

Lending full cooperation to LE in the interest of the victim -- her own granddaughter -- could benefit Casey. Compassion for a defendant's grieving parents can go a long way with juries. In this case, it could be the one factor that would save her life. By perpetuating the BS, she's leading her on the deathwalk.

I noted that CA is no longer saying that lying doesn't equal murdering. When Meredith asked her about all the lies, bad checks, etc, CA said something about we will all see at the trial how that fits (sorry, don't have the exact quote). All along she has said that while KC might lie or give mis-truths, she is not a murderer. The spin has changed. She's not even saying that KC lies.

I've said it before but I've never seen a defendant's family trashed this way. And this is a twofer because they also lost a dear baby. No one picketed Bundy's mother's house, or Dahmer's family house or Susan Smith or Aileen Warnos, or, or or.

This family deserves every minute of it.

I really can not take much more of these people. First off, Cindy is clearly mentally disturbed. And this did not just start now. I believe that this is why we do not see more friends and family coming forward to speak on their behalf. I don't think that the Anthony's were well liked in the first place. They all seem to be abrasive and egotisical people. The reason we do not understand them is because we are used to seeing bad things happen to good people, and that is not the case here. Some times bad things happen to bad people. And that is not to say they deserve this, no one does.
However, what has happened to Caylee, has happened. She needs to be brought home to be laid to rest. For CA to continue to go on tv and proclaim that LE is not doing their job is crazy. I cannot remember a case where someone was charged with murder that their victim turns up alive. Im sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

GA is a coward, plain and simple. If he would have not tip toed around KC on the day she gave him the gas cans, maybe all of this wouldn't have happened this way. All of the Anthonys are doing the same thing that has caused all of this. Ignoring the facts and trying to cover up. That is how this was allowed to happen in the first place. Cindy and George need to salvage what they have. This reckless behavior is just going to lead to the death penalty. Is that what they want? Their past behavior has not worked for them, it is time for both of them to step up to the plate and take care of their daughter. They should encourage her to tell where Caylee is so that she won't get the death penalty. As mad as I am at KC, she is only 22 years old. She is not a bad looking girl, she is supposed to be smart. Her life is ruined. To CA: Cindy, the state may very well kill your daughter!!!! Haven't you lost enough?

Seriously I am crying while writing this. I never thought that I would shed a tear over KC, but here I am. What made this girl the way she is? Why did she kill her daughter instead of just dropping her at the grandparents house and going on her merry way? I think that it truely hit me today that there are sooooooo many victims in this situation. Maybe by trying to save KC from herself, they can put Caylee to rest.

This is the problem in a nutshell. For the love of God, why didn't this family ever make Casey ACCOUNTABLE for a thing she has done ?? THAT is one of the basic parts of PARENTING. No wonder Casey seems like a 22 year old 4 year old child. This is way beyond spoiled.

As a Registered Nurse myself, I find it beyond comprehension that Cindy was able to pass the NCLEX exam and get her license.

Why have the Anthonys REFUSED to give out a picture or do a police drawing of this Zani? Because seh doesn't exist, that is why. Pure and simple. Don't you think if they really had a pic of this invisible person, it would behoove them to put out "have you seeen?" posters on this person? Why have NONE of them ever done a police drawing of the invisible person. I would love to have the police artist do one with every member of the family separately. I'll bet you they'd look nothing alike.

Am watching George. At least he has done the right thing even though he isn't admitting it. He also says he is GIVING out tshirts, not selling them. I believe HE is, but I also believe someone is profiting from them.

It is alleged that KC had a problem with CA holding newborn Caylee first. If true, KC has a huge problem with CA stealing the spotlight. CA loves the spotlight.

I think KC will retaliate somehow, even from behind bars.
