2009.01.06 Nancy Grace - "Exclusive Interview with Psychic from BodyHunters"

I will have to go back and look, but I don't believe it said she had POA. I believe it said she provided the information. (which I thought was strange at the time)

If she had a POA, she could have signed Caylee over from KC at anytime.

The POA was probably a "limited" poa in the case anything happened to KC. I know I read that CA had the POA & it was done at birth. I will try to go back and look as this was real early in the case.

There are ways to do it so that Casey is not "technically" paying for it.

O.J. wrote a book in prison while awaiting his criminal trial called, "I Want to Tell You". It was a best seller.

I thought he tried to launder those funds but the Goldman's still ended up with them? Wherever the funds go initially they are not suppose to benefit the convicted person. My question is if she is convicted and the money went to Baez did she benefit from those funds?

Remember the birth certificate? While it did not list a father, it DID list Cindy as power of attorney.

Maybe it had something to do with the "advanced directive" all the hospitals are starting to implement now.

I'd love to rip Nancy a new one over the GSJ crap. Enough is enough... people need to hold GSJ's feet to the fire, if they are going to put her on tv.

newsflash to Nancy: the handler with the dog on the video is no longer part of the group and has said that the dogs are NOT certified.

Yes.... I was ready to tune out because of this...can't believe she is giving airtime to this... what a waste.... a huge waste....

The Earnhardt law deemed Florida's medical examination autopsy photographs, video and audio recordings exempt from public inspection without the expressed permission from applicable next of kin.

Can he stop it if the next of kin authorizes it? And is that only for the ME's photos? What about ones taken by the defense themselves? He can certainly seal them as evidence until the trial is over though?

The Earnhardt Law originated when the Orlando Media asked for copies of Dale Earnhardt's autopsy photos after he was killed at the Daytona Race. Theresa Earnhardt went to a judge, asking they stop the release of the photos to the media, and hence the Earnhardt Law was born. That's a different scenario that what we have here. Where remains are considered part of a criminal investigation / murder charge, I would think / hope the judge can go one step above and say that NO PHOTOS of Caylee's remains can be released. If a judge cannot do this under current law, then someone needs to hurry and initiate another law....

Yes she does unless she has signed it over to the Anthony's. I have been asking and asking IF she did sign the body over. It would be a huge slap in the face to her parent's if she has not. I wish it would be disclosed for sure.

Since LE is so worried about Baez selling the pictures, evidently she has not signed it over or they are going to prevent the Anthonys from get a hold of them and selling them.

They did say Baez SOLD those pictures though. How could he do that?

What we are hearing tonight is in such extreme contrast to what we heard yesterday about how Cindy and George "sat" in the funeral home with Caylee. I never know what to really believe about this family. Surely she is not in a cardboard box -- I hope this was just said for effect by NG.

The cardboard box part probably is true if they're still awaiting a 2nd autopsy. MOO

When my dad passed away we (us kids) were scattered everywhere to include Europe. My mom had found him on the kitchen floor deceased and called 911 and they started CPR when they arrived even though he had been gone for awhile and brought him to the hospital where they pronounced him.

My mom didn't have it in her to start the process with the funeral parlor until we had all arrived back home which ended up being a couple of days for my sister who was in Germany so the funeral parlor had stored my dad in a cardboard box in the refrigerator until we could all be there to make the arrangements(wake or no wake, church service or not, ground burial or mausoleum or cremation and most importantly casket)

So I guess with all that what I was trying to say is that until they have made the arrangements for her funeral Caylees remains are in a cardboard box.

I believe it would still be considered that, even though he were to lose the case. In other words, the money would cover the fees that otherwise couldn't be paid for her defense. Just MOO.

And a few months ago, when GSJ first came on the scene, NG was pretty critical of her. I guess NG is intrigued that the psychics actually did visit "the area" before. Too bad she didn't realize it wasn't the exact area.

Maybe KC gave JB POA and recinded her POA that she had given to CA.

That's what it likely was, if there was anything at all. You don't need a lawyer. And, the patient can revoke it by just so stating.

..or that is was one of a couple of dozen, or so, "areas."

Maybe CA LIED then too. She may have just told the hospital that without providing one.

I know when my friend was very ill, I had a POA over all his affairs and when I conducted any business for him they asked for a copy of the POA, but the ONE place it should have been proved first (hospital) never once asked me for it and I was making medical decisions for him.

Me either, I remember Cindy claiming those docs were drawn up and the attorney she said did them (same one as George's disability claim) said he never did any such documents.
Wasn't there also something about taking guardianship of Caylee if anything happened to Casey?

Did you have a healthcare proxy?

Yes, when LE checked with him he said NONE of it was done and NONE of it was true. That is why I suspect that CA LIED then too.

Now, we're on the Travoltas.

One of my friends is a Scientologist "celebrity." His wife was sick and fainting, one day. She was on a church "detox program."

At my friend's suggestion, I visited the H'wood "Celebrity Center," After I reported my impressions of the church to my friend, he was mad at me for two years.

 I won't say it but I'd love to. I agree with your POV

Maybe KC gave JB POA and recinded her POA that she had given to CA.

I first read POA as Piece Of A$$! :iamashamed0005:
