2009.01.21 Document Release

I agree. There are some very confuing and ambiguous passages in these documents.
Now that you mention it, it looks like the 2 paagrphs below the heading:
"Wednesday, July 23,2008"
are the only passages tat apply to AL car.
"Auto Theft Garage"
marks a shift back to KC's car in the narrative?

Very confusing if you don't follow the catalog system they have. That's how the mistake with the knife came about. On page 3214 of the documents:

Tuesday December 16th, 2008

Art #1, H-51975 (Sealed box)
From the evidence mentioned above I collected the following items:
  • Black plastic bag with yellow pull handles.
  • Pull-ups "with flower design" collected from backpack "Adorable".
  • Stainless steel knife.
It sounds as if he found a knife, pull-ups, and an "Adorable" backpack along with the black trash bag found at the remains scene because of the December date. But, one look at the catalog numbers will tell you that this is the black trash bag that contained items that were found in the car. The black bag that originally contained the items from the car (given to him by Cindy?) has now been put in a sealed box and placed into evidence.
IMO, he retrieved these items from the box to compare them to items found at the crime scene. If so, they have a trash bag from the A's from way back in July and they also have pull-ups that were in KC's car. Why did he retrieve the knife though? Maybe to compare to something they found cut at the scene. I don't know but it's interesting.

PHEW arent I glad that i kept reading - I read your previous post and was about to go all ferrel on you HAHA Not really JOKING but was about to point it out again LOL and then decided nah i better keep reading

:blowkiss::blowkiss: You are to sweet to go ferrel on me :blowkiss::blowkiss:

This whole case gets to everyone I think. It is such a awful tragedy that could of not happened.

Bold me

Yours does LOL Mine does we all need to take some Panadol (or a good stiff drink)

Sigh what a nightmare

Why cant they release the docs in Stages...you know One dealing with warrant then the next day the evidence then the car then the body

All at once is TOO MUCH !!!

And we hit dry spells :p
Sorry, but nothing was found in AL car other than "2 stains" negative for blood.

Nothing whatsoever collected from that car as evidence.

Now I see it differently, this is what I gather:
See how there is dates well on Wednesday July 23rd they did AL jeep.
at 1628 and 1629 hours they obtained article 9 and 10
and 2307 and 2348 hours they collected article 11 and 12.

Then next page jumps to July 25th and back to Casey's car. :waitasec::waitasec:

pages 3181, 3182 are AL vehicle.

If you follow the Code numbers:
You have broad item nos. refering to say, KC car then Article numbers for each piece of evidence.
The layout is apallingly ambiguous, I would say wrong, but the description of AL Jeep ends with no reaction for blood. All the items listed are referenced to #H-52025, which is KC's car. To make it more confusing there are other item codes for different groups of evidence like the items removed from the car before it was impounded.

Note on p3182 they are not testing yet another 2 pairs of shoes coincidentally black in AL car?

So maybe defense will eat this up?? Since they jump around so much.

Yea the 2 pair of black shoes were found in Casey's car. :bang: It is all mumbojumbo together.

I also noticed the car had a diff H-xxxx number....It is very confusing looking at it.

ETA: the H-🤬🤬🤬 number I was refering to. ON page 3181 it has H-51977 and page 3176 is H-51977

H-51977 is the trunk area.
If you look on the document "Evidence sent to FBI" page 3285 you will see that the items erroneously being attributed to AL's car, articles # 10, 11, 12 are clearly listed as coming from KC's car. Look at the tag number, Fl tag #G63 XV. This is KC's car. AL has a New York tag.

ETA: correction to property report number. H-51976 is the white trash bag found in the car.

51977 also has item of soil, stained spare tire cover both from KC car I would think? Both those items collected before AL jeep was there

One I never said they found anything in Als car. I just mentioned about the Air Freshner sheet doove whatsit which they did find

Ooohhh Was about to post the whole page here and then had a thought !

Does ARTICLE 12 Belong to Casey or AL ? in your opinion/s ?/

I think I see the confusion !

Bloody Hell ! page 3182 (well whatever that label is in bottom right corner) has about AL bringing his car in
On wednesday July 23rd at 1522 hours
But then at 1613 hrs he talks about he AUTO GARAGE

is that Caseys car in there or AL's

My view is that chimps do the type setting. Seems the only suff pertaining to AL Jeep is the 2 para. ending with blood tests negative

Can you imagine the jurors trying to decifer this too.

They should of done one car then the next. Not in the middle of Casey's bring in AL. They jump around.
Don't get me wrong I think LE is doing a good job overall. I just think it is confusing.

Maybe if they put the license plate number by each article would of been better.

It is very confusing. And I am sure there are zillions of items NOT mentioned here all being shuffled in and out of property custody. The sort of stuff that defence lawyers love to make tech points about.

OK now wait I will type out this give me a sec....and try to explain why I am seeing what I see.

What do you all think about the CSI going back to the evidence that was taken from the car (H-51975) and retrieving the black trash bag, pull-ups, and the knife? He did this on December 16th. If that bag was given to him by Cindy (remember, it contained things she found in the car) there's a good chance that they have a trash bag to match with the one at the scene because they collected this in mid July. They may also be able to match the pull-ups from KC's car to one found on Caylee or at the scene.

Aimee, I know exactly why you see it that way. I saw it that way too until I got to the part about the black shoes. At this poiint, I thought something was wrong and started looking at all the numbers. Got a huge headache and a little understanding of these docs.

ETA: Even JWG has the items as coming from AL's car in the forensics thread and he's very detail oriented!
