The reference to the second knife you refer to is actually the CSI reporting that on Dec. 16th, he went to the evidence room to retrieve the knife, black trash bag and pull-ups they got from the car in July. The hope is that he did this to match them with what was found at the crime scene and that he is successful.

We don't know yet, cannot find a picture of her wearing straight or a new one for sale to compare it to (and I have tried!). Some of the poster were wondering if it was the VIP hat and then I noticed she picked that very same picture to turn black and white and stamp it with a heart.

Anybody have any ideas what at the remains site inspired LE to look for chloroform etc with the first urgent Warrant?
They already had that as an idea, why not search for that previously. Was there something with the body and other evidence?

I found the photo of her in the pink hat turned sideways to be interesting and have spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to find a pink hat with the VIP wording on it online. No luck, not even in closed ebay auctions.

But I did notice this:

Oh, that breaks my heart all over again. What was KC thinking when she did this? Never mind...I don't even want to think about it.
KC knew Caylee was dead so the color was removed and the heart.....she is so callous.
I think this should be entered into evidence.

I wondered that as well. Why not search for it earlier. They had the pc searches and evidence of it in the trunk. Seems they could have gotten a search warrant. It could be that they found the container she had it in. It would explain why investigators who thought it was an accident before the remains were found no longer do.

I personally don't rate choloform as a factor. I doubt there was a bottle?

I think it was one of the first articles that said he was relieving himself. NO no link right off. But I know he did not say he saw a laundry bag?? So that goes with the theory that the garbage bag was on outside. ​

Various media outlets reported that DawnTCB, and you will probably get links to those news articles, but he has never been specifically quoted as saying that. Can't recall the page in the docs, but in there he says, (paraphrased) 'I picked up the garbage bag and saw the skull.'

Methinks this is a case legend. :crazy:

I have 2 things I remember from reading all this, although I am so tired I couldn't find a link for you even if I knew how, so maybe they will job the memories of others.
1-during the recent hearing on tv that the judge called casey to court for, when the attorneys where going over various motions with the judge while waiting for casey's arrival, one of the issues mentioned was results of all dna testing, fingerprints taken etc. JB said he had not recieved any yet, the judge asked SA why and SA stated the results had not be finalized by FBI and they would supply them when they got them. I am guessing LE will not release anything on them anytime soon by that conversation, but I might be wrong.
2-wasn't there at one point a pic of casey and 2 of her friends wearing tshirts with something they had written on them? Maybe with iron on letters? It was from one of the many parties, had views from the front and back, the 3 girls were laughing and standing arm n arm. I think maybe even had the same thing on the front of all 3 tees and the back had each girls name. I think I had seen it when everyone was trying to put names to faces about who was who.
Anyone else remember these things, or have I had KC Koolaid tonight?

I think there's more we haven't heard about. Look how many days they were on the scene. So far, all we've heard about is what they would have seen in the first few minutes after arriving. They must have found something else in all that time. I do believe that was her book and a photo was near it. I never put much stock into the other things that were seen. Maybe I'm blind but that book and one photo were clear to me.

I have the same feeling as you about the chloroform. I don't doubt that she had some. It may have spilled in her trunk. She may have ditched the bottle in the woods with Caylee but I still have the feeling it had nothing to do with her death. LE are all over it though and I don't know how she's going to explain it away.

Agreed. That was my point, on two hours' of sleep. :sleep:

NG has said it on her show most every night since December 11, but I don't think the MR said it at all. I was pretty deep into his calls and interviews last week and listened to them over and over. I never found a single mention of the skull "rolling out" like NG says. Ya know, I think sometimes she says things just for dramatic effect! </sarcasm off>

He did say to GMA:

GMA: That was in August, and in December you go back to the same area, why did you go back?
RK: I had to to go to the bathroom. So I went in there and I looked over and I saw a shape that didn't look quite right to me... and when I pulled the bag up, I basically looked down and there it was.

"the bag". Not a white/gray/black bag, not a garbage bag or cloth bag. Just "the bag". So he's no help with the bag dilemma there.

Someone asked above why the order of the bags is important. It is important to me, because after listening to the calls from the MR and the GMA interview (my transcript is here), I don't think he was near the remains in August. LP said MR was 150 feet away from the remains just like the PIs were 150 feet away because they were both using the same wrong tip. I am not ready to say that yet, although I don't think what he saw in August was really relevant to the case at all. But I am interested in pursuing the angle that someone told the PIs and MR the same wrong spot. This fits in more with the "evidence" from the PI recordings and MR's 911 calls, IMO. I started a thread about it last night but only one person came but maybe once things settle down a bit maybe there will be more discussion.

I agree if you are talking about a baby bottle. In the Father's Day video, Caylee is using a sippee cup.


I think the chloroform search on the computer could have been curiousity after seeing the chloroform ad on her friend's myspace. Don't know if she would have taken that a step further from there, but think if she had there would be more chloroform searches on her computer. MOO.
