Oh, I agree. I can't imagine not following a 4 yr. old to make sure he gets to the bathroom OK in a dark home. And like I've said from the beginning, she says she got up to go to the bathroom/get a drink, noticed the light on, then checked on the kids. I have never left a room with sleeping kids in it without checking them as I'm leaving the room to make sure I don't wake them. I think she should have noticed Haleigh gone before noticing the kitchen light.

Exactly! Wouldn't she have to go right past Haleigh's bed to get out of the room? Something's still not right, imo.

According to the link below, post #437, there was a SO predator that lived at Haleigh's address..JJ Lane ....unless at some point between this post back on the 15th and now, something was found to dispute that.

I said before I would like to know what transpired the weekend before this fateful Monday. Rumors are that MC was on a three day binge. Rumor has it that RC kicked her out of his home. Even the pastor said MC had had an "active" weekend.
If he kicked her out and she sought solace ,durgs (sic) she would be so mad at RC. Who did she party with over the weekend? Cousin? And I noticed from another poster that RC's hand was indeed bloodied and beat up during his very fisrt interview. Fight? Cousin? Gun? Are we really that far from the truth here?
Just wondering...

I'm wondering along with you. I'm glad TN repeated again tonight the sleeping arrangement in the bedroom and did place Haleigh in the room with Jr. and Misty. At some point there'd been some confusion if Haleigh could've been in another room. Putting Haleigh's bed 3 ft. from where Misty was, well, the perp must have been very quiet even on those squeaky floors! MOO

Well, that's new...at least if she said that Haleigh's bed was in the master bedroom, that's not what we've been hearing so far...or is it?

Know what, tho, tehcloser? If the previous tenant was a pedophile or RSO, a nice little trap door maybe under where the sofa is placed would be a very good spot for their child . Maybe there really IS a hole in the floor somewhere. It is just too odd a reference, IMO.

I just had the same thought. Got on the thread late and heard about the hole in the floor example. Actully my DH years ago used to work in a trailer park in the summer and he said it would be very easy for someone to cut a hole in the floor and then attach a piece of carpet to the top. It work like a hatch door droping down towards the ground. It could be under a piece of furniture or better yet in the closet where no one would pay that much attention if the carpet.
If you had a RSO who rented there before and he wanted access in and out without using a any of the doors it would be the way to do it. Of course you then have to be able to get out from under the trailer but for someone who is in good shape that would not be a problem.

Could there be..Maybe..Who knows. May be just an example that choose because it is so 'out' there. Would be interesting to read the transcript and see exactly how she said it.

Hi!

From what I understand from reading what the landlord said, RC specifically wanted a larger trailer so his kids could have rooms to themselves. I've read some speculate that maybe due to his working night shift, and Haleigh's fear of the dark, that the kids may have been moved to their room temporarily.

I kinda think, and this is just my opinion, that somebody, somewhere along the way had made a threat to do some harm to RC's family...which would explain the kids sharing a bedroom with them, and it would explain RC's belief that someone stole his daughter during the 911 call....

hope that makes sense...

That's part of the problem, there's been so many versions out there and I'm not believing most of the ones Misty has come up with. But of all of them TN seems to be the most credible. MOO

The fight was two weeks before from what TN said and Misty had said early on there was a fight and RC accused JO of taking a gun,but JO denied it.Supposedly the gun was found in a ditch.It was also rumored she was with RC's uncle some locals told the searchers.I wonder if the Uncle was interviewed for verification.But,LE has said after interviewing JO,he is not a suspect and not held.

Yes he is and he was out. There was a phone listed for that address with a name that has been connected to him. I believe when I ran it down it looked like a possible aka but that has been about two weeks ago and I would have to hunting again for the information. Seem to me it was back on real early thread. There were a couple of us trying to figure it out. Thread 5 or 6 maybe.

until 11-2008, as far as I know. length of incarceration is on the website, but I know it was a while. He is already in the suspects thread and yes, he is creepy.

Something just dawned on me after listening to TN. The possible reason for the inconsistencies of Misty's stories in the media could be because LE has given her explicit instructions not to talk about certain things...one being what Ronald JR. saw or did at the time, what she did see, and other things which could have taken place. Maybe all this time, she has been protecting him which would make it sound like there are holes in her story.

I gathered from what TN said tonight, she was very upset at Crystal for jeopardizing Rj and possibly the investigation. She sounded really frightened. It would make sense!

I tried last night and found a website but someone said it wasn't the right lay out. This is a link to mobile home floor plans but these are from a TN based company...doesn't mean RC's trailer wouldn't have the same layout as one of these. The one I picked last night was wrong...maybe you'll have more luck.

Except I'd like to know why it took so long for the relative/grandma driving by/dropping off clothes story to emerge. The question of "did anybody come over that night" was asked countless times before we heard about this.
