Has anyone else noticed that LA acts a lot like CA in this deposition? He explains absolutely improbable things coming out of KC's mouth that he apparently believes to be true, and just talks about it like it's nuthin'. Kinda like "KC said green aliens swooped in and changed her password to timer55. Yeah, gave me the chills."

Are there any Yes or No answers within this family? Just simple answers............GOD!!!!

I just ended part five from wftv. There seems to be more. Does anyone have a link for the remainder?
Nevermind...

I agree. They have an annoying habit of rationalizing the irrational.

That Lee guy is one creepy dude.

The end of segment 3 in WFTV's version is almost too much for real life. LA's explanation of Zani's orders to KC through myspace posts, text messages, etc. to be somewhere at a certain time. KC would go of course, LA says, because if someone has your daughter you do what they say!!! Sheesh!!

Why didn't JM ask him "Lee, did any of this make sense to you?"

My opinion of Lee has really changed after listening to this litany of garbage.

I am wondering if he has given us insight into what the defense has from their client to work with as far as a defense strategy?

SOZFGDI (some other zfg did it). Just thinking out loud after watching him.

LIE:

LA: I've never seen the content of the text messages. We've asked law enforcement for that repeatedly. We've always had to get that on our own.

So, Lee, are you saying you got them or you never got them???

  • #889
Is there not ever a day when it hits these people that just possibly their daughter (ugh) is possibly the killer of their grandchild???? Is there not a person on this planet who can not at least make them open their eyes and look at what is happening? Amazing BS.

Oh they know. They are just feeding us kool-aid. And they are pissed off that we won't drink it. From day 31 they accepted what Casey had done, dealt with it and decided to move on. They are pissed because no one else will let them.

Lying is ok and lying to protect yourself is acceptable. "The end justifies the means" is the family motto. Sound familiar?

What I want to know is....What lesson was ZFG trying to teach Casey?

  • #891
"as an investigator would do......yes I believed everything she was telling me".

so investigators never question anything?

If Lee is correct, then our threads here are WAY too long!

I don't recall LA ever asking KC in a jailhouse call or some other conversation what "timer55" meant. Anyone else recollect that?

I do. It is what prompted sleuther's here to jump on that and figure it out.

Yes! And they came up with the answer Lee gave! That was incredible and shows that we have a better investigative team than the As have! :woohoo:

I haven't had time to read all 36 pages of this thread nor the transcripts, but I watched some snippets of it and I have to make a comment here.
First of all, it seems to me Mr. Morgan is wearing two hats. He is acting as attorney for his client, and also trying to act as prosecutor. A lot of the questions have absolutely NOTHING to do with clearing his client's name, and EVERYTHING to do with the criminal case against Casey. Asking Lee who he referred to as CMA in the memorial... what did that have to do with ZG? I said the same thing when I read the list of questions he wanted Casey to answer, because there were some questions that should be left to the prosecutors in the criminal case.
This deposition should have taken no more than 20 minutes if he had stuck to questions regarding his client's civil case, and it stretched into 3 hours? And I heard him state last night that it was not over, they intended to continue it on Monday. WTH? Mr. Morgan is stepping WAY over the line for his client, and someone should put a stop to it.
I don't blame George or Cindy for trying to postpone their depositions. This man should NOT be allowed to do this to this family, in spite of how gleeful everyone seems to be about it!! He is out to publicly humiliate them, and he has no legal right to delve into the criminal matter outside of how it affected his client, and a lot of the things he talked about last night was way beyond that.... he was analyzing Lee's body language and suggesting things that were completely removed from ZG's case. When was he hired by the state attorney's office to prosecute? How does he know when to switch hats? This is completely ridiculous, and he should be ashamed... if not disbarred!
I know that it is the general consensus here to hate all the Anthonys, but I am surprised that some of the legal eagles her can't see the ramifications of this whole thing, maybe they did and I missed it.

Bold mine. Entitlement to the max. It still makes me shake my head when I think of the job positions the Anthony's were looking to fill for personal assistants back in July. Highly technical skills, own car, own insurance, ability to fly (at your own expense,) own cell phone and computer, available 24/7 and no pay! Who thinks like this?

I love that. Someone who is independently wealthy and has no need to work to support him/herself should work 24/7 at his/her own expense for the Anthonys. Umm hmm, yeah right. I guess they thought it was reasonable because, after all, Zanny had duplicates of ALL Caylee's belongings and was apparently at Casey's beck and call 24/7, perhaps for free.

And if he didn't read them he's not a very good "investigator". Most of Orlando read them by just opening up their morning newspaper.

So do you think LA and CA are really that air-headed or they've just closed ranks with each other to come off as that air-headed? :waitasec:

I feel like these people live in some parallel universe. Lee says he believes everything Casey tells him, BUT, if he could talk to her in private, he could find out the truth...maybe I'm in the parallel universe...

OMG... now you've scared me! I'm going to my kitchen to get the aluminum foil. I've heard if you wear aluminum foil hats, they can't take over your mind! We must protect ourselves from the invasion. ROFLMAO

This is what happens in a depo. My own experience is the other side can ask whatever the hell they want to and will ask. All your attorney can do is object and state a reason, but you still have to answer the question. If you don't a judge will be brought in. I don't know what the penalty is, but I was told you never ever want a judge brought in. What the heck my sex life and stuff I did ten years before I met my husband had to do with a Dr killing him, I don't know.

Compared to my depos, JM handled LA with kid gloves.....

I sometimes have to add a layer of foil to my hat, but they are pretty effective. :)
