I should have added that if the employee wrote it out, Zenaida would not pronounce the "z" a the end. I speak fluent Spanish and people from Spanish-speaking countries think I'm from some other Spanish-speaking country. Dropping the last syllable is a key to a good native accent.
To an English speaking person, the employee would have heard "Senaida Gonsale."
