I think I may send him a letter of support.
Will you add my support to yours? Please? This kid does not deserve what is happening to him

I don't have any idea what CA actually believed; I just think she was making statements to LE that made it look like she DID believe there was a real Zanny somewhere and that some of the ridiculous lies, uh, statements her daughter had made somehow had credibility. CA was in spin mode the minute LE carted KC off to jail.
I'm just astonished, sickened and sad about all these docs about Jesse. I mean, his credit report, his school grades. what on earth... That Casey has ripped this boy's entire life open for the whole world to see. I can't think of anything more vile than this (ok yes I can, but still).
This stuff was collected from 2500 Colonial Ave. on 3/19/09 - who lives there?
I'd wonder too, except there is the jailhouse video where Casey says to Cindy, "She wears her hair straight. She's the one who gave me my straightner", and Cindy responds with "That's true."
I wonder though, and because I haven't the time at the moment but will check later tonight, if that jailhouse conversation occurred BEFORE OR AFTER the statement where she says she was going through Casey's vanity and found the straightener and remembered that Zanny had given it to her. Did Casey say it in the jail house tape first, and then she wrote "I remembered", or did she remember and later they discussed it by coincidence in the jailhouse tape? Or .. or... was it all scripted to come out and join together as if it were always a known fact.
I'll go one further.......I truly wonder if she ever was told about DVDs intended for Caylee's use at "Zanny's", or a hair straightener that was supposedly originally "Zanny's", or a white dog (to add the cherry on the sundae). I wouldn't put it past her to have gone out and bought a "hair straightener". (I call mine a flat iron.) *Well, KC told me that Zanny has curly hair, so this hair straightener must be hers, so she must be a real person!*

All of the Zanny stories seemed to be tied to physical possessions. It is my speculation that Casey realized at some point it was easier to say these items came from Zanny.... that way she doesn't have to remember the details of the stories she tells and it explains how she has frivilous items like dvd's and hair straighteners but cannot contribute to the household.
I would have to go back and search for which came first, but I tend to think the declaration from CA about the hair straightener came after the jail visit. I vote for your last possibility.....that it was all scripted. Or, I think it's possible that IF KC said it first in the visitation... I could easily see CA thinking to herself.....*I better go and buy one of those hair straighteners.* I so distrust the As that I would not put that past her. I think CA did indeed hear the name "Zanny" bandied about by KC here and there in the months preceding Caylee's murder, but I think she helped flesh out this identity after the jig was up. And I think this business about a hair straightener is one example. I strongly question everything this woman has said, and think every anecdote, nugget of info, or things presented to LE should be suspect. Her refusal to take a poly clinches that. JMO

Hi everyone..Im back (lol)
I am bothered by this as well, except that by doing so, the LE has shown how far they have investigated every theory or possible accomplice...so I look at it as when they go to court, it adds to the pile of guilt because any story they concoct to deflect blame has been thoroughly investigated and eliminated.
BBM That is a good point. I still wonder though how much help she has had from CA w/ all these Zanny lies. I am so cynical.....I find myself questioning everything that comes out of CA's mouth.
2500 W Colonial Dr is the Orange Co Sheriffs Office.

and now we know why she called JG to pick her up at Amscot - good thing he couldn't do it.The SODDI defense is so nauseating. All of the evidence appears to point solely back to KC. Clearly, the LE did an exhaustive investigation into him...and though the information released and obtained is such a violation into his life...I am also satisified that the defense can't say that JG was not investigated.
He took a lie detector test. CA, LA and GA refused.
He graduated high school. KC was too lazy and stupid to achieve that.
JG at least had paying jobs. KC worked for a brief amount of time and then abandoned her child.
KC was the last known person seen with Caylee. Had possession of that car. Abandoned that car. Had TL come pick her up in the parking lot where she abandoned that same car.
KC didn't report Caylee missing. KC lied to LE.
And yet...the defense thinks intelligent reasonable people...are going to allow them to point the figure at JG just because he wasn't cut out to be a cop?
JG is not the one stealing from family and friends.
JG is not the one making up nannies.
JG is not the one making up jobs.
JG is not the one shacking up with anyone who would show him the time of day.
JG isn't a known liar.
JG graduated from highschool.
JG has no motive to murder Caylee. I wonder who it was that stole, lied, cheated and whored through their adult life that might have a motive....hmmm....who oh who could that be?
We now know what kind of grades Grund received in highschool, what his ACT and SAT scores were, what every employer he ever had who was willing to answer questions to the police department thought of him, his salary, where he lived, where he was born, his birth date, his driver's license number, and so on.
Frankly, I'm disgusted on his behalf.
yes, quoting myself (narcissistic, much? haha). Just thought of something. Remember that Jodie Foster movie, "Nell" ? She plays an adult whom many think is either retarded, deaf or otherwise disabled in some fashion, and we come to learn much later in the film that she was raised in solitary by her mother who had suffered a stroke many years before, and therefore had a severe speech impediment. So "Nell" speaks in much the same manner as her mother had, in a way a child would learn "cockneye" from her childhood in certain parts of England. I am wondering if growing up listening to Cindy's disjointed speech patterns, Casey might have learned some disconnect in some form. I have no background in psychology or speech pathology, and certainly have no idea how to put my thoughts into clever words, but I'm hoping someone here can elaborate on this. If Cindy cannot form a proper sentence to express noun, subject, verb, predicate, thought, concept and idea, how can Casey grow up to say anything more than 'Absolutely', 'exactly', and giggle when she thinks is appropriate?
My vote...scripted.I'd wonder too, except there is the jailhouse video where Casey says to Cindy, "She wears her hair straight. She's the one who gave me my straightner", and Cindy responds with "That's true."
