I was so moved by the interview with Richard Grund today. His face just reeks of exhaustion and compassion and resentment and sympathy and love and fear and regret and embarrassment. There's no emotion in the world I didn't see in his glassy eyes. When he said that Jesse is only 26 years old... that made my heart drop to my shoes. Goodness gracious.

If you read all Jesse's personnel files, and garnered from that a profile of a kid who was lazy and slovenly, one must certainly imagine that at some point in a person's life, maturity happens. And the way he has handled himself throughout this entire investigation, it is clear to me that he has reached that point. He has matured. He's no longer a server at TGI Fridays, he's no longer a kid thinking it would be cool to be a cop but who finds out he's not cut out for it. He's no longer a wide-eyed boy in love with a beautiful sex goddess who rejects him. He's now the prime focus of a gaggle of goons who are trying to use slight of hand to pin a tail on a donkey.

He'll change from this. He'll grow, I'm sure of that. I have this inexplicable need to say that I have confidence in Jesse, and in his future. You don't come from a background of people like his parents and NOT walk forward somehow.

When Richard said that they don't regret any of this because otherwise, they'd never have known Caylee, that won me over. His eye was on the war, not the battle. What was that line from "The Patriot" ? Aim small, miss small, I think it was.

I'm babbling because I'm overwhelmed with emotion. If I owned my own company, the first person I'd hire would be Jesse. I hope somebody else out there feels the same way.

Hang in there, Jesse. You aren't alone.

:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:
Beautifully written--you said everything I was feeling. I, too, hope that Jesse is able to move on and be well.
And on a related note, every time I think about Jesse, I hear Nancy Grace shrieking his name in that horrible tone of voice she uses. I hope she never has any reason to ever say my name, because I'd never be able to hear my own name again and would have to legally change it:)

*Sigh* Intrusive documents that don't offer much relevant information sure makes for a disappointing doc dump:( Although I do agree with those who are seeing the silver lining here: at least no one can reasonably say the guy wasn't investigated!

It is disgusting to think KC even through that away with Caylee........no love or bonding at all! ...........I bet CA kept it and KC threw it away to hurt CA more.........IMO

I'm confused. Did they find it at the site where Caylee was found or did they take it from the home for dna?

ITA.

Especially when you note we're lacking Casey's performance reviews from Universal by comparison.

BBM Don't forget folks that the Judge could have blocked these documents about Jesse had he felt it was not relevant.

I just watched the video of Lee going into the deposition today. Is it my imagination, or bad video quality, or has Lee put on a substantial amount of weight? No I am NOT judging his appearance, but wondering if the stress has gotten to him in the polar opposite way of how it's gotten to Cindy. She's lost a ton of weight, and he seems to have a heavy gut now. He's either been sedentary, which is different from his otherwise healthy and active lifestyle, or he's been drinking a lot of beer. This is not meant to pick on him, but rather an observation of how stress truly can change a person's physicality to such extremes.

what I noticed - he didn't find anything worth laughing about or to smile about on his way to the deposition, unlike JB and CA and BC

Just out of curiosity, has anyone checked to see if there is a Mariott Hotel close to Busch Gardens? The closest Mariott I can find is 12 miles away from Busch Gardens. Also unless Busch Gardens has changed drastically since I was last there, I don't remember there being hotels in the park (Disney, Universal, and maybe Islands of Adventure have those). There was another one about 10 miles but it is a Residence Inn which is usually extended stay.

I know this is not important really but it just struck me that I think Cindy said that Casey said they were staying at the Mariott in Busch Gardens and I couldn't even think of one within walking distance of the park much less inside the park.

FL's sunshine laws are far too invasive. Release should be limited to only AFTER the trial and, perhaps, only to information directly related to the trial. FL should change these intrusive laws to protect witnesses and innocent bystanders. Absolutely no SS or phone numbers should be released. Addresses should probably also be redacted. Otherwise, there will be a lot less co-operation with the authorities when people think their private lives could be laid bare for all to see and use just because they saw a crime or knew someone who committed one. The legislature really should do something. The broad scope of FL's sunshine statutes does not protect the rights of the innocent!

BBM:
Yet everyone LOVES it when they contain documents that make the case AGAINST Casey!

Really? Are you sure? I'll admit that I don't fully understand all the nuances of the SunShine Law but I thought that everything that was shared between the defense and prosecution was fair game for "sun-shining." I thought the court only intervened if a motion was made to withhold. For example, there are a few (?) "tips" that are certainly not relevant. MOO

Re: the hair-straightener. Why would KC need hair straightener??? (I'm a hair dresser), she doesn't need that product!

What? You don't use a straightening iron on straight hari ever? Raeally? I find that extremely strange as every other hair stylist I've ever known or heard about uses one on all types of hair. That's like saying people with curly hair never use curlers, hot rollers/ect.

Keeping my eye on the ball here.....wouldn't a motion for blocking the docs need to have been filed? No one filed such a motion. The only things that were blocked were the video of KC's reaction on Dec. 11 and the autopsy photos. I think if JG and his family had something to hide, there would have been a motion pertaining to these docs. And I fail to see how these docs are relevant at all to the As camp trying to pin this on JG. All these docs show is that he was not cut out for the force and has some maturity issues. I'm sure there would be a long line of young men who would be in the same boat. But the man offered to raise a child not his own after being duped! Quite a guy. Goes to character, IMO. And, as has been stated numerous times here.....the guy took a polygraph. Did the As? BTW, I love the letter from the FBI to Lamarr......what we all knew for many months, but to see it in stark black and white! That all those other people questioned that the As and KC had in their sights took polygraphs. And then......voila. The three who refused were the A family. Priceless!

When I first heard about the hair straightener I figured KC stole it from somebody and when CA ask her where she got it---she said from zanny. Was just a red flag for some reason.

Yeah mamabear I was just thinking the same thing. How great would it be if someone either mentioned it being taken in an interview we haven't seen yet or would come forward and say..."hey that's mine. I wondered where that went." lol

What happened to the Teddy bear?

Cindy told Yuri in the last part of today's released Cindy interviews that KC sent Juliette by the Anthony house to pick up Caylee's teddy bear and more of KC's clothes on July 3, the day Cindy was trying to meet up with KC at Universal.

I don't think the teddy bear was at Tony's.

I don't think it was found with Caylee.

What did KC do with it? Ricardo told LE that Caylee had two favorite toys she took with her everywhere. One was a teddy bear, the other was mama doll.

So, where's the other baby? Or could it just have been the dried umbilical cord from when Caylee was born?

I'm just now reading this thread. That was my first thought - they saved Caylee's umbilical cord. Detectives also took the framed hand and foot prints commemorative that was hanging on the wall in Caylee's room. Obviously for DNA and identification.

just guessing but "any dumpster in Orlando or trash can in front of target or car wash where she cleaned AL's car or trash bag at AL's apartment complex or ..."

One of the unfounded statements was that Cindy sent a teddy bear to the psychic to help her ~ the one who was supposedly telling Dominic where to search for Caylee's body on Suburban. Am I remembering this correctly?

I just want to say for the record, though it has been said many times, poor JG.
For the life of me, I don't even know what connects him to this any more than the man on the moon.
He is not some ex husband or boyfriend she had a contentious relationship with or had accused of battering or anything before this.
She takes showers in his house alone after Caylee is missing, invites him to the beach, texts him, but wooh mom and dad, beware of that guy.

The faults that GA and CA point at seem pretty lame as well.
Like what was GA getting at that he thought it hinky regarding kc's seizure?
Didn't call ambulance, did CPR, what the heck, he also tries to make him look like a stalker, then for the first time today, I read from GA's interview where he says at first he heard JG held KC down in Bp! How did I miss that one.

So what if KC lies, steals from friends and grandparents even, and her daughter is dead in the back of the car for days whom she NEVER REPORTS MISSING, but hey nothing hinky there at all.
They even faulted him for trying to help LE so soon after KC's arrest.

The only people pointing fingers at JG are the murderer and the murderer's lieing parents, I don't think the jury will have a hard time figuring this one out!

You are right, I remember that - what was that about? Don't remember where I heard it.

I still to this day don't understand why, if they didn't have anything to do with Caylee's disappearance and murder they refused the lie detector test. That just has never made sense to me. It is one of the first things I would have done.

Bold mine.

BINGO!!!

ETA: Re-read this, and to clarify, IMO, GA and CA refused to take the lie detector test because they were afraid they would be found out as liars, and (IMO) quite possibly one or both had something to do with Caylee's disappearance and/or murder.

I wish they would have taken polygraphs..... but I do remember in the case of the runaway bride, Jennifer what's-her-name, her fiancee/husband's dad was an attorney and told his son not to take a polygraph. Turns out he did not kill her, she left him!
