I was just pondering what this case would have been like had the players been what they held themselves up to be.....

Publicity certainly brings out the bottom feeders.......or turns a person into one...

I cannot understand his position. His inconsistant statements as well as his statements that simply do not make any sense. I am not the only one, clearly the interviewers were questioning his statements as well. Dc on the other hand seems to be fine to me. I am looking for the inconsistencies. He has clients to protect as well. I am looking to see if he lied to the police. I am not seeing it. Do you see it?

And thank you The World According. My husband passed away five years ago. He was a very, very good person. Tried to help others when he could. It saddens me to see someone like DC acting so unprofessional. Gives PI's a bad name. There are many PI's out there that are responsible, reliable and honorable people.

I am so sorry to hear that your husband passed LambChop, I can't imagine how frustrating this case must be with the knowledge and respect you have for your husband's career and memory. (insert kissy smiley here - sorry, smiley's aren't working on my computer!)

For one DC told LE he did not know he was being taped. Clearly he knew he was being video taped. JH was right in front of him with a small hand held camera. JH mentioned the money in his depo. DC claims he had a retainer agreement with JB, which we have not seen yet. So DC claims money and JH claims DC said there was money and talks about all the billable hours. I did not see the owner or realtor in the video so I highly doubt he asked for permission. People usually don't like someone ripping open bags and digging around their property unless they have someone there to make sure they don't do any damage. Plus if the camera was there for the purpose of investigation he would have recorded that he had permission from the owner to search the property......It's what PI's do to protect themselves.

bbm: I don't follow the need for the A's to have been "protected" - from what? Sorry, just not quite following....

I can't get past sending DC to a possible Caylee burial site without LE..........I don't want to make my brain bleed (again) overthinking the motives of everyone in this case. But his presence in that area indicates insider info to me and the A's not sharing EVERYTHING they know with LE is a hurdle I haven't been able to get past either.

bbm: In the interview with LE and DC they were talking about how when DC saw the camera he made some spontaneous statement about the fact that he was unaware he was being taped. LE's response was "well then that should be on the video shouldnt it?" ......so DC's version can be corroborated by the video, which we haven't seen yet.....at least not the statement he claims to have made. So I guess it is simple enough to verify DC's version of events once we see the entire video JH took that day.

I can respect the point you are making here. One of my issues with the tape recording are the motives for taping it. I think there might have been more than one motive behind recording that video, by more than just Hoover.

What I would like to ask you, NTS, is how do you justify the reasons for DC so passionately avoiding the depo? His opposition is so strong, that it forced SA to issue an investigative subpoena, ultimately hurting the defense since JB and Co. weren't issued an invite to attend the 'interview'. He was going to HAVE to testify one way or another, and I am sure his attorney advised him of that. If he had complied with the depo request, JB at least KNOW the same thing the SA now knows. It is pretty darn obvious that DC really, REALLY did not want to talk. WHY do you think that is?

There was no time to contact the owner so he did not have permission to search. Something else on the depo which is intriguing. DC claims that he did not tell CA and GA about the search that GL sent him on. Then in CA's depo she claims never to have talked with GL or had any contact. GL claims CA sent her Caylee's teddy bear. So somehow these stories just do not match up. JMO

BOMBSHELL!! Take a look at this old interview of GL. She states that DC told her he had trouble seeing what he was looking for in the woods, because there was WATER!! From Dominic's own lips! Dc was not investigating a murder. He was looking for Caylee. And yes, he is bound to his clients until the Judge overides those legal documents. The Judge may have done that by suggesting an investigative subpoena. Even if so, it does not mean there is anything there. IMO
