I'd also be interested to know if Misty's Grandmother said what type of learning disabilities that she has. If she has a language disorder, that could account for at least some of the way she answers questions.
I just don't see what TM thought he was going to accomplish by this little stunt. I would really like to know WHO he reported the rifle incident to. IIRC his lawyer never really answered that question. I know that I posted this earlier but I swear my remote almost got launched at the tv when TM's lawyer stated they had more serious issues on the burned at the time of the rifle incident like the poly's and the voice stress test.
WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN A MAN PULLING OUT A RIFLE, SAYING HE WAS GOING TO BLOW HER TEETH OUT THE BACK OF HER HEAD, THEN GOES ALL DRAMA QUEEN AND SHOWS HOW HE IS GOING TO DO HIMSELF IN, AND THIS TOOK PLACE IN FRONT OF HIS LITTLE SON???????????
As you can tell, I am highly upset about this. CPS will go and harass family's for the littlest thing, but NOT pull a child from the home for this? If this is all true, one TM needs to but out of LE's investigation, and two, Jr needs to be pulled from RC's custody. That baby has been through and seen enough in his young life and I HATE to see what this could do to him.
My last gripe is about how they tried to get closer to Misty. I honestly do not think that she hurt Haleigh and that she is too scared to tell what she knows. I mean can you really blame her? However, it would appear that she already has trust issues. Just how did TM think this would help by sitting her up. Did he think that she would spill the beans and tell them where Haleigh was, if he gave her a new BFF and set her up with money?!?!?!
MOO, I think that TM just put a HUGE kink into the investigation. Could he be charged with anything? Just curious on that last question.
/Rant Off
If it were up to MK he would be in jail already, he was mad and very verbal about it but I don't know if TM has done anything criminal I think it was pretty stupid though and he needs to stick to searching and leave the investigation to law enforcement. Why did he wait a month to tell LE about what happened according to his attorney. As a father of a missing and murdered child I am sure he would sympathize with Ron and want to get him help if he were really in such a state. I think maybe TM embellished what happened I just don't see RC acting that way in front of TM in front of his mom and grandma and even Misty maybe but Not in front of TM with him knowing TM has a close relationship with LE IMO
This is kind of out there, however do you think that it is possible the RC plan'd the whole rifle episode with TM to see if TM would leak it? Could it have been a test on just how close the Cummings family could let TM get to them and how well he would keep their secrets?
That just pop'd into my thoughts and wondered what others may think about that?
I think we need a Tim Miller thread, what say everyone else? The reason being:
I'm not throwing Tim out with the wash. He's made some bad mistakes, bad judgement in this case. I believe he has been suckered into a dark side of society that he didn't recognize and followed.
He has done so much good for society, and being that he has, we should give him not the benefit of the doubt, because he is clearly wrong. But give him the honor he has earned in helping many families. He has done this work, given of himself, has a long track record for good, and this in my eyes earns him a chance to make things right. He is not the only one pulled into a seedy side of population and their ways and thinking. He just had the power to make a move on it, do something within the case, which failed.
I feel as some here, if he could do it over, he would. We learn through mistakes. Really, maybe this has helped in a way. Maybe now some can see the injustices that's been going on in this case since day one. Not on Tim's behalf, but many have been involved in their own ways doing things that I believe has hindered this case terribly. Does Art Harris ring a bell? Though Art does give some good reporting, he's been so wrong so often, doesn't mind mixing rumor with fact, that it has stirred a cesspool of rumor and innuendo that has latched itself onto this case making it into something it isn't at all.
Who are you referring to when you talk about the seedy side of the population, the dark side of society?
How do we know what this case isn't at all?
I'm talking about those that are involved in the case, those that have interjected themselves into the case, or been hired into the case and did acts un-ethical and immoral.
I don't know how to respond to your second question, as I'm not comprehending it correctly, sorry about that.
So, that's basically everyone we've heard about
The other question refers to you saying that Art Harris made this case into something that it isn't, which to me suggests that you know what this case is, and I'd like you to share that knowledge.
I really don't have any problem with Tim realizing that Donna was bonding with Misty and his helping her out on this. Tim is not the only person that thought that keeping Misty close would enable him to get some useful information out of Misty that would lead to Haleigh. Unfortunately, both the road rage incident and Ron's text threatened to blow Donna's cover.I am not shocked at how Tim has acted. Anything to find a child. Whatever it takes. He had to take matters into his own hands to find his daughter..whatever it took.
I am more shocked at how Marc said that Tim needed to be arrested..but I am going to try to forget he said that and hope he really doesn't mean it because of the level of respect I have for him.
Tim is human just like the rest of us, except that we have not found a hundred missing people in our lives. I am sure he does make mistakes and even more sure that he has done things he wishes he could take back, just like the rest of us...but bottom line is that IF Donna would have been able to get any information on the whereabouts of Haleigh, he would have been hailed yet again a Hero...but because his plan "this time" failed, he is getting the rotten tomatoes thrown at him..
At least he tried...!
That will be the last thing I say about it where the two of them are concerned because in my heart I know they are both good men, however, good men working for the same cause do not speak out against one another like that when it comes to trying to find a missing child. It is wrong, wrong, wrong no matter which mouth it comes out of..When you work for a common cause, you work together..you may not agree with the tactics used by the other, but you don't slam them in public... now I am getting off my high horse and going to pray for both of these men...
And pray harder that Haleigh's Angel has awoken this morning ready to find her and bring her home, either way..just bring her home!

I think that both of these occurences would have blown over and Donna could have restored herself to Misty's good graces if they had been handled properly. Unfortunately, Tim's public declaration was the nail in the coffin for all that he was trying to accomplish. If he had just kept his mouth shut, he probably would have been successful in his undercover efforts. But he had to speak up and reveal everything! And now he has to justify his actions and defend himself against criticism.
IMO, Tim knows that he has a tendency to run off at the mouth and has been quoted as saying "Dont tell me details so I dont let anything out that might hurt the case." I hope he thinks hard before he overreacts and opens his mouth again. He is a very good man, admired by many.
