2009.11.06 Forensic Entomology Report Released #2

This recent information stating that the body was dumped sometime at the end of June or the beginning of July is interesting. When you consider the FBI reports that state the trunk air tests show 2.6 days, the theory of the body being moved is looking very likely. If Caylee was killed in the middle of the month and not dumped until the end of the month where was her body for 11-12 days? Was it in the trunk for 2.6 days, removed, put back in & dumped? Was it dumped/hidden somewhere for 11 or so days then moved? Will we ever know???????

Anthony defense attorney Cheney Mason said the defense disagrees with the finding. Mason said defense experts claim there were no coffin flies in the trunk at all.

Haskell has studied entomology for more than 50 years and teaches students at Saint Joseph's College in Indiana. He teaches a formula that uses temperature and environment to predict a window of time when someone died.

THIS is going to be a really exciting part of the trial! I guess experts can go up against each other and still maintain a professional friendship. Let's hope these two have one at least before they start or it could get nasty.

Oh Yes, I agree! It will be fascinating.

Just for my interest and speculation sake, does anyone know if Dr. T. Huntington has a body farm he can wander around in? Where is Joypath? Love to hear her take on this - Yoohoo - oh brilliant one?????

IDK...but he has opened a Crime Scene House

Dr. Timothy Huntington, assistant professor of biology, opened up a crime scene house for Concordia's Introduction to Forensic Sciences lab.

"I am one of only 15 board-certified forensic entomologists, so we are a small pool of experts to draw from," said Huntington.

OK, OK, they were not in the trunk, they were in the trash bag, which had just recently been tossed out of the trunk.

And the duct tape was not on the skull; it was on the hair that was on the skull. Blah blah blah, more Cheney Mason word games.
