Well, since we now know that Baez asks for, and receives, legal advice from Hornsby, I wonder if Baez went whining to Hornsby again, and this motion is actually Hornsby's 'brain child'. It would explain why Hornsby is having a meltdown over Schaeffer's comments regarding the motion, to the extent of taking cheap shots at WFTV such as the comment regarding Belich's personal life and Schaeffer's suspenders.

I just love that Hornsby's source of reference is Wikipedia... which he found through Google...

Hmmmm.... :waitasec:

I don't see it as a problem for an intelligent juror who pays attention to the trial. Casey didn't report Casey missing, her mother did after discovering she was no where to be found 31 days afterward...Casey told LE that ZFG was Caylee's nanny, she had left Caylee with ZFG, and Caylee went missing...there is forensic evidence in Casey's car trunk pointing to a decomposing Caylee being in there...no one else was driving Casey's car during that time...Casey tells her friend AH that her car smelled blaming a dead rodent or something her dad must have run over...GA picks the car up from the towyard and fears the worst...Caylee is ultimately found down the street from the A's house with items that came from the house...and on and on. I'd really like to know how RK could be involved except for finding (thankfully!) Caylee's remains. :waitasec: MOO

CLIPPED FROM TODAY'S CURRENT NEWS:

See July 31, 2008 Email exchange between Jose Baez and Richard Hornsby

http://www.richardhornsby.com/Library/pdf/cases/casey-anthony/20080731-Email-Exchange.pdf

Thanks a lot!!

"Pot meet kettle".

Amazing that RH is calling WFTV out for being pro prosecution and connected when this shows that RH is obviously pro defense and connected. Hmmmm? :waitasec:

So when are we going to hear from an independent and objective media versus one that is biased?

As was posted, law is something that is interpreted and decided by a Judge so .... both blogs could be right but I'd go with the one that took the higher moral ground and did not stoop to an all time low and dis-respectfully slam other professional opinions.

It seems that RH is well suited in style to his connection with the Defense and, Sheaffer is well suited to the professionalism demonstrated by the Prosecution. JMO.

Speaks volumes.

On Fox tonight Ted Williams speaks for clients Crystal Sparks and son Brandon says prosecution has not contacted them. Dr. Baden trying to say maggot evidence shows that Caylee's body was not in woods the entire time.
In a way he's right...first poor Caylee was in the trunk of her mother's car.

Thanks...anyone have a clue why he would do that?

He was trying to insert himself as an advisor to the Defense and become a part of the circus (or get an insider line) and.... wanted to portray himself as such on his blog -- advising JB?

There is a peripheral supporting cast of characters and it seems LP is still involved as well.

Spin and hype it up into a whirlwind frenzy of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$'s

I thought the wikipedia citation was amusing as well. Considering that Baez taught lawyers and jusdges to do legal research, you'd think he would try to be more academic.

Hornsby can't hold sheaffer's suspenders imo. He was overreaching and did not come across as convincing. If you read his arguments, Hornsby is using very, very liberal interpretations of the law. What is it with narcissism, ego and defense attorneys?

http://www.richardhornsby.com/index.html

Just trying to navigate his website makes me want to pull my hair out (or his)!

So many places to go, things to *see*, kinda like being on an exclusive spa site with all their many "services" displayed for you to "click on." *spinning head*

Being in the criminal justice system, I am still not (and probably never will be) comfortable with attorneys' marketing/advertising their "wares," if you will.

It makes me shiver ......... as do Dr., RX Meds and hospital ads. JMO

After reading Hornsbys e-mail, filled with advice for Jose, I really have to wonder who has a relationship with who in this case. At any rate, Hornsby will never be able to compete with "my" Bill Scheaffer...yes, suspenders don't do much for most men, but Bill (I call him Bill sometimes) wears them well.

Have we seen this maggot evidence yet? (so much evidence, so little time...can't remember!)

You know I don't think we have, but with the overload that is going on in my brain, I could be wrong. I remember the fly evidence, but don't remember a report on the maggots.

Maybe someone can correct me if I am wrong on this.
