WOW! I think Jeff Ashton just threw down the gauntlet and I think it is crystal clear why the State is seeking the death penalty. I am not a death penalty proponent, but his argument is compelling - to say the least.

If there was any doubt in my mind how serious they are about prosecuting this case, he just gave a powerful reminder that they are absolutely committed.

Yup, if anyone thought that the only emotion would come from defense lawyers weeping and wailing and chaining themselves to the furniture, they were just disabused of that fact. Even Casey seems to have realized that the innocent girl at issue is little Caylee, not her. Good job.

i know, same here. i just dawned on me that we are going to hear every gruesome detail.

i do wonder if KC was reliving what she did when he was talking. it upset her enough. KC is the type of person that if he was WRONG, she would be defiant because she would still be the only one who knows the truth. for her to break down makes me think he was right on the mark.

still love to hear those shackles when she walks though.
