I always thought it suspicious that TN did all the talking about the night in question. She wasn't there yet she supplied us with many facts..some of which were rc and misty talking all night; rc picking up haleigh; misty's clothing; the fight; the gun; the cousin; she sent a "relative" over to check on the kids; misty's trips (that her friend financed) and then the support of misty up till recently but then it still isn't much condemnation either. IOW, she did all the speaking for her "ronald". Furthermore, when you think about it, she provided almost ever fact of the case.......not ronald.

While you are at it - add in some of the recent events. Such as screening Ron's mail before sending it off to him at the jail, and the high IQ comments before the UC tapes were released and the almost total silence since the tapes were released. JMO, sometimes silence speaks a bit more clearly than words.

What I don't get, is IF, LE had all this information from the beginning what has taken them so long to dig until the shovel breaks? Is LE more interested in the drug activity than finding HC? Does the drug activity have something to do with HC's disappearance?

I just don't get LE's case, at all...I feel they've had some information from the beginning, nothing is getting out, no one asking for clues, nothing being leaked at all..

JMO, I don't think LE wants to find HaLeigh, they have better people to call. I just do not believe they are just now finding out anything, we haven't gotten anything. they know much more than they are telling. If it were my child/grandchild I'd show up at the front door every day wanting to know what the heck information do they have, I'd plaster my saga everywhere in anyway I could. STOP, look for my child, here is a clue.....I want my baby back. Don't stop, keep looking, what do you have, what can I do? You aren't doing sh##, I'm getting a lawyer, I'll hire a private detective, heck I'll do it myself... find my daugher, please help find my daughter. I have not heard this from any of the "players" so far. Not once.

IMO, your last paragraph pretty much explains why it hasn't been solved. It's because of the lack of cooperation with the whole bunch why LE has not been able to bring this case to a conclusion. Getting nothing but inconsistencies and then their refusal to talk to LE for months throws stumbling blocks in front of them from every direction.
Another possibility is... they may have lots of information on everyone involved but not enough to bring the case to court. There has to be some tangible proof on someone to get a warrant and to bring charges. They just don't have that proof yet. Lot of suspicions, but no real evidence.
I disagree that LE does not want to find Haleigh. Sure they do! Unless there is some conspiracy within the LE community itself... finding her body would go a long way towards bringing the case to conclusion. I just don't think that one "friend" within LE could deter them that much in solving the case. I could be wrong, of course, but that's my honest opinion.

Hi Scorpian, (I'm a Scorp too) I think your above post is right on! Wasn't it said somewhere Ron hired a PI (yea, right)! The reason why I think the cops are not investigating HC's case is because of the very heavy drug trafficing down there and there's a push for them to catch all of them. However, I still believe RC and MC were small change.

Who says they are not investigating? Have you seen the pics of Haleigh's room at headquarters, where they keep all the files and the timeline pinned to the wall, along with POI's and all the other information? Pretty impressive, and it sure looks to me like they're still working on it!

Well, Tx I did see the room. I also see that it has taken almost 13 months to try to solve this case (which they still haven't done)???

No disrespect to you Tx, but I think they have failed Haleigh. JMO

It's my opinion that the one(s) responsible for harming Haleigh are locked up, quite possibly for a significant portion of the remainder of their natural lives. At the very least we've now got some drug traffickers off the street.

Personally, I don't care whether justice comes through the front door, back door, or down the chimney so long as it's served.

I think many people have failed Haleigh, but I don't think LE has. I think they can only do so much with what they have. We have seen tapes of Misty from jail, we have seen interviews with both of them, I can only imagine being LE and trying to interview either of them is very frustrating to say the least.

The 2 people responsible for her safety that night are not talking and we know at least one of them is giving conflicting stories, the other "wuz at werk" ..... there is only so much they can do legally.

They may have an idea of what happened, but no way to prove it, until they get a confession or find Haleigh.

Now to make this back on topic ... I'll say that TN has some very suspicious things about her, and I think that her leadership may have helped the person(s) responsible evade LE for over a year now.

Well, I for one am very glad that Teresa pointed out to us that Ron has a high IQ because I had totally missed out on that tid bit. This revelation opened up a whole new way of seeing Ron for the man that he really is. Not really. I have always had the opinion that if a man is very intelligent, his intelligence will speak for itself.

I ask this because earlier I saw an off duty police officer and he had on a LE jacket and it was dark in color. I know they wouldn't be identical but I was just wandering what color jacket did TN have on when she went to the mh that night Haleigh disappeared?

In a previous post, I referred to TN’s comments about the speed at which she drove to Ronald’s house on Tuesday morning and today I found the interview I was referring to with Greta dated Feb 27/09, Part 2.

Starting at the 4:52 minute mark, TN said she lived approximately 12-15 miles from Ronald’s and she drove well above the speed limit to arrive in 5 minutes. GVS asked TN what time she arrived and TN said Ronald called her while Misty was on the phone with 911 and it sounds like TN said she arrived at 3:30 am. TN went onto say, “I was well over the speed limit that’s for sure, but I just felt that if they got behind me, there will be more people here when we got here”.

Thanks for the video. TN says she got the call from Ron about 3:25 or 3:28, she arrived at his place at 3:30. She claims she wasn't dressed, had to put her jeans on while she was walking out the door (grabbing her LE jacket and the 8 x 10 pic of Haleigh, I'm sure) and she lived 12-15 miles away. Damn! Did she travel by jet? Just two minutes (she said five) to dress, grab the picture, and travel 12-15 miles.

To be honest, I haven't believed any of the Cummings-Croslin-Nevis-Sykes group from the beginning, and most of all, I don't believe Ron, Misty, and TN. All of their stories sound outrageous, made up, convoluted, and change consistently. I believe the Sheffield side of the family any day over these Satsuma folks.

TN and Ron have always been over the top with their tears. They were the only two on the Maury show that day making those horrible fake tears and boo hoo sounds. Quite a change from the video that someone just posted when she was standing near the 'God sign' and all bubbly and bouncy talking about Haleigh and then got all nervous when the interviewer asked her about Misty and THE STORY.

There was an old TV show called (misnamed) "Who Do You Trust?" (instead of Whom), well all I can say is, I trust NONE of these people. From Day One of Misty continuously saying, "And that's all I know", TN praising this kid who lost her granddaughter and can't get her story straight, and Ron making his "I don't do drugs" statements and marrying the twerp who lost his child, well, obviously, either they all have screws loose or they're all hiding something. I choose the latter. Or both.
