There was a discrepancy over whether it was Misty hanging fliers in the store with Jo Tuesday morning. Here is what Jo said in his interview:

"Went to the Hospital to see his uncle…. got with Misty’s mom and went to the jail because she was being questioned, we left from the jail….she couldn’t go back down that road so me and her stayed up by the store and put fliers up. Then Jo left Satsuma with the girl he came with. "

Was Jo hanging flies with Lisa not Misty?

ETA: IIRC Misty said her mother drove her to the jail for an interview and Jo, who was in the car, panicked and took off. Anyone remember her saying this. Well, it's not true according to Jo.

Yes, I remember Misty's mother Lisa and Misty stating Joe wouldn't go anywhere near the police station too I think. What in the world is the problem remembering the simplest of facts in this case. I am thinking of what Bowling( I think it was Bowling) that said trying to get info out of these people was like interviewing a rock. WOW

JO's mom must be LC's sister, they look so much alike. She's too defensive sitting with her arms crossed. Talk about how this changed him, the emotional toll it's been on him???

What about HaLeigh and her family? Aren't they on an emotional roller coaster not knowing where this precious child is..I swear, if he's innocent why did he run back to Tennessee so fast..I remember one video of him and MC hanging fliers, then he's gone in a flash..JMHO

That is what I thought as well. That his fear was that he was going to get in trouble for being in FL because he was on probation in TN. I wish I could back this up, but have no link at this time. If anyone else dose please share.
Also, there is a picture here at WS somewhere that shows Joe hanging flyer's with Misty before he left. IMO, LE did talk to him as they did everyone else, I highly doubt that LE would of just let him go back without questioning him. LE did go to TN and question as well, not sure what all took place while he was still in town. The Croslin's lied when they claimed that Joe left the same night Haleigh went missing. I think LE needs to go back to MA and have a little talk with Chelsea and Timmy again. JMO

I remember the speculation that Joe wasn't supposed to be in Fla. due to being on probation from Tn. And, he did say LE took the girls car and all of his belongings.

Last weekend, a grandmother said, she had to decide which of her grandsons to believe about what happened to Haleigh Cummings.

The first grandson, Hank “Tommy” Croslin Jr., called from jail saying his cousin entered the Satsuma trailer with a knife that night in February 2009 and left with 5-year-old Haleigh.

I wish I had a link as well. I am almost positive he wasn't allowed to leave the state of TN and he was afraid of getting in trouble for being here. That's why he didn't want to talk to the police AND why he left so quickly.

yes, that is what I heard. He said they took "everything I own" which may be an exaggeration. I'm sure they took everything he left FL with and they impounded his friends car who he rode back to TN with.

Misty stated in her LVA that cousin Jo and her mother picked her up after she (Misty) had been questioned by LE. She (Misty) also stated she was told not to go back down there, so she stayed at the store.. And that is pretty much the same story cousin Jo told...I do recall her saying cousin Jo was scared to go down to police headquarters, I don't recall Misty saying he took off...There is a picture of Misty and Jo hanging flyers.. And i don't recall her stating her mother took her to police headquartes to be questioned..JMO

Last night on FCN evening broadcast they showed part of their interview with Joe and stated in their late broadcast they would play more. That is all I have found and FCN said Joe only granted them an interview.

OK, Joe was in FL on vacation with a female friend. Why has this female friend not been mentioned? You would think that Chelsea would of said something since Joe was staying with her.

Joe has been formally interviewed by LE 3 times.
The morning Haleigh was reported missing Joe went to hospital to see his uncle, then went to the jail to pick up Misty, left from jail couldn't go down a certain road so they started hanging flyer's. (I would like to know who he drove to the hospital with?)

Second, note in the video. Joe says that LE took his clothe, the friends car and everything. To me that means that LE did talk to him before he left and that would of been the reason he was trying to find a way back to TN.
LE kept the friends car at that time.

A little something that LE never shared with he public. IMO, if anything was found on Joe's clothe or in the friends car it would of give LE probable cause to arrest Joe for something. Chelsea also alleged that Joe was sitting up in the bed with his clothe on. I see a cover up and it started ASAP and Joe was the scape goat.

You're right elle, Lisa & Misty said Jo wouldn't go near the Police Station. I suppose Jo could have gone with Chelsea Tuesday morning to visit his uncle when Chelsea drove back to pick up Lisa from the hospital, but Jo doesn't mention Chelsea at all.

YES! I remember much of this!
Now I gotta wonder who the friend was. $20 says she provided a nice alibi for JO which is probably a good reason why JO went back home and not to PC jail.

The more I think about it, we/some of the WS members sleuthing him out and found out through the TN records that he was on probation? So many players in this case it's hard to keep up. Thank goodness for the mod's trying to keep the threads organized for future reference. I will go back now and see what I can find. Maybe it's in the downstairs?

Jo wasn't questioned by LE before he left Satsuma, LE went to TN to question Jo everytime they interviewed him. There is no doubt Jo left Satsuma with Jenny and they drove back together to TN. Her car was confiscated by LE in TN.
