As I predicted months ago I believed Joe was the perpetrator in this case and Misty had nothing to do with it. Joe is a known pedophile. Glad to see this case coming to an end and feel very badly for what this family Ronald and Crystal had to go through. Sadly Misty came from a very sketchy family and it cost Haleigh her life.

This stuff is sick! I don't believe it for one second. I have two daughters, and I can tell you their doctor always checked them out on that end. Another thing, according to Crystal S, her children loved Misty. Crystal just had them the weekend prior to Misty's binge. You can't tell me Haleigh wouldn't tell her mother something about being sexually abused or at least tell her mother that Misty was mean to her.
Misty walked Haleigh into her class the last morning of her life. Would someone that hated this child walk her in, or just open the car door and put her out? She normally rode the bus, so walking in alone, isn't a big deal. I wonder who in LE came up with this, and what they based it on. This is sick!

I agree. This crap is too farfetched. Even 'trailer trash' doesn't live like that. & even GGS said that the kids loved Misty, begged to be with her, & that Haleigh looked like she had left a beauty shop every morning before school. The witness @ the bus stop said he saw real affection there. People say what they want about Misty, it's been open game on her for over a year, but this is too much.

Thinking maybe did ingest drugs before Ron left, he knew about it, and his many calls during that night were to check on Haleigh. They think she died early. This is why we think Ron appears guilty because he knew.

No one was out looking for Haliegh, instead they called 911, and they all acted like she was already dead.

And don't forget, KC's nanny story was fresh in their minds and they saw it working for her, though they most likely thought she had killed the baby, being faced with a death of a child themselves. They probably thought they could get away with it as long as they didn't wait 31 days, JMO.

I always had a hard time blaming Misty for the crime at all. My wife and I believe she knows what happened but not that she was involved. We got into an argument this morning because my wife thought the whole threat thing was full or crap.

We got ourselves a daughter near Misty's age, and I turned to my wife and said, If I killed our son and made our daughter watch, then held a knife to her throat and threatened to kill you or her if she ever said anything, what do you think she'd do?

Argument was over right there. I think Grandma's story from Tommy is almost dead on personally.
