I was a little confused as to why the first statement by Shoemaker was "you can understand how Ron would be shocked..." but his next statement was "He's not surprised" referring to Ronald. After reading the article in it's entirety, makes perfect sense now...

Earlier this week, Flora Hollars -- the grandmother of Cummings' ex-wife Misty Croslin - spoke about the case. Hollars claimed Misty and her brother told her their cousin -- Joe Overstreet -- took the little girl.

Shoemaker said Cummings does not know Joe Overstreet well, but had suspected Overstreet since day one.

"He's not surprised," Shoemaker said, "and [Cummings] said if you go back and listen to the 911 tape he made a comment that night about "Cousin Joe.""

I agree with those that think something was found. LE just doesn't want to inform the family of the physical evidence until they indict.
Prepare for a funeral is pretty strong words. LE doesn't play this type of game.

If LE believes RC was involved, (and by now, hopefullly they know who is and isn't, and who is trying to throw whom under the bus.) I wouldn't think that they would let him attend the funeral. Casey was not convicted, and she was not released to attend Caylee's memorial service.

Thank you so much Sailor Bug. I have been thinking of Haleigh's Momma and little brother and the rest of her Momma's family today.

I just wanted to say I'm saying a prayer for them too. I pray that angels wrap their wings around their broken hearts. Life will never ever be the same for them. Ever.

The thing that confuses me though is that Annette Sykes the GGMA told a news station that she refuses to believe that Haleigh is dead. Unless it is Crystal that is the one that has to make arrangements. It makes more sense for Crystal to have to do it than it does Ron's Fam.

Of course Crystal would be the one responsible to make the funeral arrangements - She is HaLeigh's MOTHER.
Ronald would be responsible as well, except that he's detained at the moment....

I will say this....this family has sure kept it to themselves whatever LE told them that day....I half expected someone to leak it to the media just to get the word out what they were told. God bless this family...what a horrible nightmare.

If I'm hearing this right, in this vid, Shoey says RC has an good idea of what happened to HaLeigh....yet he also says he hopes leads are false....IMO, RC's getting into his the CYA mode.

Logic? That's where we made our first mistake in sleuthing this case.
Logic went out the window night one. The only term I can think of is FUBAR.

If you go back to the very beginning of this case, right on this forum, there was a confusion about a cousin. We all thought that Misty was said to be RC cousin. Then we all thought it was just a mistake. I think the cousin thing has always been there right from the beginning. I am not going back to find the link but it was on the very first thread and I have followed this case from the very first post.

IF they have found lil' Haleigh and if Joe is the culprit, why does Ron still need an attorney to speak for him in this case. We don't see Misty's lawyer talking about Haleigh....or did I miss something?

God Bless Haleigh. I feel such sympathy for Jr. and Crystal. They have known all along this was not going to end well. I in hindsight with the media circus and the characters involved in this mess she has shown grace and restraint. She has been a lady in the face of overwhelming pain.

It was pretty obvious on the 911 call parts that we could hear that Ron was told something by Misty and/or he had someone in mind. He even seemed to think that he would be quickly caught and in the back of the cop car where he could be shot by Ron.
