Not buying the story of Haleigh screaming with Misty and Junior under the covers. According to Crystal, IIRC, Junior remembers a man in black. I would think his sister screaming and him hiding under the covers with Misty would be the more prominent memory. It's BS, whether it originates with Misty or Flo.

According to Ron - all the beds were made up when he came home. How does one hide under the covers without unmaking the bed ?


Better yet - why did Misty not immediately call LE once the scary boys left that house with Haleigh ?


It is all BS IMO. More stories made up by a desperate Misty who has finally figured out that her trafficking charges are going to send her away for quite a while. She is lying to everyone and telling all kinds of stupid stories in her letters.

Well old Boz does not believe a word out of Chelsea's mouth. I have heard her on calls with Misty and I think Tommy too. I saw her the other night on some show and my impression of her, well its not good. She has her own agenda and its not Haleigh no matter what she says.

Now GMS I have never had a problem with and find her credible. She has no reason to lie in my opinion.

And I have been in Grandma Flo's corner but tonight gives me more than a little pause. OK. I fell out of my chair and my computer crashed. But this additional story is making me wonder why it did not come up before. And Flo looked very angry tonight for some reason.

I think NG was beyond speechless tonight. She may rethink having the entire clan on at one time again.

Head injuries can include a person not being conscious but still crying out. But, I question this story because Misty claims that she saw Tommy in the doorway and he left. Unless she meant the bedroom doorway, how would she have been able to see Tommy or know that it was Joe who took Haleigh out of the trailer.

Sykes saying Haleigh and Junior putting on shirts she brought over was interesting. And how about that she ALWAYS did the kids laundry cause she didn't want their clothes to have stains. Imagine that? Whew...this case is so over the top, I'll be on drugs before its over.

Wonder why Sykes thought they should have shirts on...Could it be it was too freaken cold on that porch?

I freaked when I heard the word "stains" from GGS. I like to do the kids' laundry... Well, doing laundry eliminates stains. The word may have slipped out unintentionally.

This might be way out there but what if -- LE knew Flo would call AS and report the search. I find it hard to believe that they would have given Flo that information beforehand. LE wanted to see who would show up. They could have listened to what was being said.

Oh that would be so great if it was a setup!!

Good point, but wasn't it also stated as Misty sleeping in the bed with Jr. and Haleigh was supposed to be on her little child bed??

I wonder if the drugs LE found in that vehicle when they were searching for Haleigh happened to be prescription drugs ? Do you remember that, that vehicle was fairly close to the MH it was abandoned .....

I was thinking about the vehicle found in the woods too, Mysticrose. There were stories that drugs were found in it. Good place to hide something if you are in a hurry and ignorant about LE searching the surrounding area.

that was weird. maybe GGS stayed until they got ready for bed, but doesn't want to admit it? because that really sounded like a slip.or maybe she didn't like the kids eating, while wearing dirty clothes? but that would make Misty look tired & strung out, if she hadn't bothered to change them

Chelsea is no hero. If she knew for a FACT that there were pills laying around all over that mobile home, WHY DIDN'T SHE CALL CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES?

And maybe GGS didn't know. Druggies hide their dope when family comes by.

Oh man, I am really unhappy to hear that coming from Chelsea. Yeah, maybe the truth is coming out, but it is 15 MONTHS TOO LATE!

Did anyone hear when Chelsea said she wanted LE to search out on 309 and a party, then she was cut off? I will have to listen to that part again as I could be wrong but thought she said party.

IMO putting Sykes, Hollars and Chelsea in the same conversation could have gotten a lot more to slip if it were allowed to continue.

So, LE should put everybody, those in jail and those on the outside, in one room. Leave them all in there for a while, and tape the mayham. I could almost 100% bet the truth would come out.

I don't think they did either, because I think they made sure the dope was gone before LE got there.

IMO, the MH was "too clean" when LE got there.

I have no recollection of a vehicle being searched near Ronald's home that was found with drugs in it. Now there was a vehicle found, during the search of Crystal's property, that had drug parapharnalia in it and, IIRC, the vehicle was owned and registered to a someone outside of the family. Maybe someone else here can add more to this.

ETA: I stand corrected; teh graciously enlightened me that there was, in fact, another vehicle (abandoned) found near Ron's MH with drugs in it. See tehcloser's post on pg. 10 of this thread. Thank you teh!

Why would tn and AS go to the area before the LE got there? This is insane! Who would want to find their own grand child's remains? I know tn is a control freak but this is truly disgusting.
In her effort to stay on top of everything she would destroy a crime scene. She learns all info and how to spin things by keeping in touch with Flo. That is my opinion

Obviously Misty must have re-made the bed after this horrific crime, rather than call LE and then waited patiently for Ron to come home.

It still does not gel with the rest of the facts, like the MH being staged .... was Misty so threatened they did a calm after the fact script and staging, etc?

It is one thing to witness and not report a crime, completely another to engage in a cover-up to protect the perps.

Not buying it. Another Misty, look elsewhere story........
