2010.04.24 The Laundry Revisited and GGM Sykes Visit.

I would bet a boat load that GGMS's story is off one way or another. Whether it's why she went, when she went or if she went -- something is not as said. There are too many inconsistencies -- we don't even know the exact story, as it's changed so much.

Here is why I think it's obvious it's bunk:

1. First, it was never mentioned GGMS was there that night, not even when MC was asked SPECIFICALLY WHO was there

2. TN then claimed she "sent a family member" to CHECK on the kids

3. Then, it comes out it was GGMS sent to CHECK on the kids

4. Then, GGMS states she had gone to drop laundry off to MC on the porch

5. GGMS also made statements putting herself at the mh longer - such as the mh looked the same before Haleigh went missing as it did right after

6. We then find out Aunt Alisa was also with GGMS on the visit

7. GGMS changed her story again, saying MC helped her carry the laundry inside

IF GGMS had simply "handed off the laundry on the porch", she would certainly have not been there long enough to evaluate MC's amount of "highness". And, we know for sure MC had her at least 3 days of drinking and drugs, so she certainly wasn't all alert and perky - I guarantee she was strung out.

I think the only question surrounding this mystery is: Why? What is GGMS hiding/covering/lying about? Even if she only changed her story a little....Why?

Man, what I wouldn't give to get a glance at those phone records right now. I think A LOT will be answered when we know who was calling who and when.

Sykes establishes the timeline with this story. The time period of the crime has moved from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. I wonder when we will find out that rc went to work LATE that night. 'Wouldn't that be a hoot?

Opened her home for MC to live in........... WHY?????

TN to busy with her own life to help with RC kids.
TN just a holiday grandma.
GGMS had to raise RC and sister Crystal.
Not a peep out of sister Crystal..........I feel that is ODD

2. blstarke actually wrote in a post that family told HER that it was running. However she did not elaborate what side and if it was rc or not or if rc told the family that..............

I would assume that each officer would have his own incident report re that night.....

I do not believe GGMS timeline at all.........She made that time up so LE was distracted, like all the time lines.
We were to believe all this in the beginning.
This is all to many stories making it on the hinky meter!!!

Okay, another thing----if you where related to little Haleigh and Jr. and you went over there at that time of night, with the temp. being what it was, and they were eating their dinner on an out door, screened-in porch; what the hay would you do. I think you would, as I would, have marched into the house and demanded to know why my g/c were out on a cold pouch, eating their dinner. NEVER HAPPENED. BIG COVER-UP!

Hey Whisp, lets not forget that TN threw this story out there along with GMS, after it was rumored that Misty WAS NOT at the mh sometime during that night. Wonder why TN/GMS waited until that rumor came out to discuss going over there at all?

O/T- I was just thinking about something...When LE came out and said Misty may not have been home that night..What could've led them to believe this? I mean, Tommy did not say he was there at around 10p until what?? August?? So why did LE believe early on that Misty was not there? LE said that was the first time they had heard that story from Tommy in August (I think-August). Any thoughts?

She went in with clean clothes and looked around the trailer.
Then she left and I bet called TN and RC............

I think GGMS did the children's laundry that weekend because SHE is the one who kept them for the 3 days that Misty was on her drug binge. Afterall, RC was reportedly looking for Misty all over town and throwing Misty's clothes in someone's front yard. Let's hope he wasn't dragging the children along with him.

If GGMS always did the children's laundry, then I would say the reason Haleigh went to school looking as if she just stepped out of a bandbox is because of GGMS and not Misty (as GGMS first told the media) and certainly not because of the attentiveness of Ronald Cummings.

Let's see...who to believe, what to believe... IDK it all keeps changing!

FWIW, Nay Nay said Misty was in contact with Ron over the weekend and she secretly planned to reunite with him, which she did, so I take the allegation Ron was distraught and looking for Misty all over town on the weekend with a box of salt. IMO, Ron isn't as fearless as some make him out to be and I don't think Ron would show up where he was outnumbered and cause a fight. I think he was content to stay at home and wait for Misty to return.

After Misty returned home, Ron apparently placed all the blame for her affair on WBG. Knowing Ron, he likely didn't bother to confront Misty to find out what her role was in all this because Nay Nay alleges it was Misty who instigated the affair when she saw his picture at his mom's house. And knowing Misty, she could have lied to Ron if he did confront her. Ron apparently wanted to hurt WBG but I take this allegation with a box of salt too because he was tied up with his daughter's investigation.

It has taken a while for me to believe the theory that I now believe. That RC, TN, GGMS and MC are all covering for RC. If what I believe is true, I may possibly even owe MC an apology. Think of all the ridicule she has endured to cover for that . I do not believe for one minute that either of the grandmothers would cover for Misty the way they do if the knew that she was the last one with Haleigh and nobody else knows what happened to her. And...notice how GGMS had no problem with FH till she threw RC under that big ole bus!

Quiche - Thanks for posting that link. I've seen a clip, but never the whole thing.

Observations:

To me, she comes off as very defensive. She doesn't seem like a "grieving grandma" looking for her baby until about the 2:15 mark. When she does become emotional, she is distancing herself from Haleigh. She's emotional talking about "what it would be like" to lose a child. She says how she can't imagine what "they" are going through with Haleigh being gone. Her emotion doesn't last long and she goes back into "defensive mode".

Regarding the "crock" comment -- Why does she seem so sure that MC was home simply because she was there at 7? If it were me in that situation, I'd be wondering what happened after I left. There are a WHOLE EIGHT HOURS unaccounted for after GGMS is claiming to have been there up until it's noticed Haleigh was missing. HOW ON EARTH can she say she knows for sure MC was there ALL NIGHT because she was there EIGHT HOURS before it's noticed Haleigh is gone?!?!?

Also, one of the reporters comments about Haleigh having gone missing around 3 and GGMS sarcastically says "no".

Not that I'm trying to judge, but I did notice GGMS had no emotion when asked about the last time she'd seen Haleigh, which I think would be a pretty heartbreaking thing. She was just very matter-of-fact about it.

After rewinding about 15 times, a reporter did ask if Haleigh was wearing the pink shirt and GGMS said no.

ITA...I think that GGMS and TN are in this up to their eyeballs. Too much hinky for me. The fact that they praised MC to the heights after this happened tells me that they are ALL in this together. And the fact that the Croslin clan continues to cover for RC tells me that there was collusion all the way around. I still think that RC is definitely involved, as well as MC and TC. I think that there is a good possibility that JO WAS NOT involved in doing any harm to Haleigh...he is waaaay too convenient of a fall guy for the rest of them. OMG...this case gives me headaches! I sure hope that LE has a handle on it. I hope we all have some answers soon. JMHO...:banghead:

Right, just like when she said "WE pulled up". This interview (IIRC) was BEFORE we found out that it was Aunt Alisa with her. So.....that answers your question, but not why it took so long for that to be mentioned.

I am beginning to think that Misty covered and is still covering for Ron, GGS & TN ..
She is young, in love and a few fries short of a happy meal. I think she would do anything for the love of Ron especially since she just screwed up and screwed around with WBG for the weekend. She probably knew that GGS & TN do not like her, but, here is her chance!! She can cover for them, they will like her, she is loved and accepted by all 3 of them, or so she thinks!

Hey Gwen I just watched that video again...Something that stood out to me THIS TIME is that when they are discussing all the rumors going around...GMSykes says that she won't believe nothing until she see or hear it from LE. Well when the family was called in, the Sheriff told her that this was now a homocide case....and she still does not believe it...she said they had to prove it. Maybe it's nothing, I dunno.

When GMSykes was asked about that pink shirt (I think the reporter asked if Haleigh had on that pink shirt when she arrived at the mh at 7p), it sounded like GMSykes "no...not at that time". Did I hear that right?
