The phone records tell a story. You can bet on that. Now why LE hasn't nailed all these players down is what gets me. I'm thinking because all these phone records are for cells and I looked at the towers for the area - since all of them were "close in proximity" - as far as a residences, work, boat dock, etc. LE can't be sure where EXACTLY each player was - does that make any sense?

Shouldn't LE have balanced the phone records against the lies they were told? If there was no one near the dock that night, why go? Did everyone converge on Lisa's house that night, the pings would place them there near the dock?

This is so :banghead: They searched a river based on Tommy's tales? Now he says he lied. I hope they find a way to rack up more prison time for this guy. Unbelievable.

On the show one of the talking heads was saying she believes there will be a fourth person named. I was thinking about Misty's "seeing four people" statement. If she saw four people than would that include herself? Or four people and herself? So really five? Does that make sense?

Don't know about y'all but I got the REAL BOMBSHELL tonight... No one will be arrested or charged with Haleigh's death since a body can't be produced
Ron C will get away with murder....And his family won't ever be implicated or tried for obstruction of justice...JMO

I don't know, Em. I get the sense that LE is NOT a source for most, if NOT all, of this breaking news so I am trying to believe that they know a lot more than they are sharing with family members who just might be repeating what they hear to journalists.

It is getting harder to keep the faith, though.

"The most obvious would be if the death/murder occurred on US government property. Deaths on military bases would generally be investigated by the respective military branch's similar investigative branch (ie: NCIS in the Navy, etc.). The FBI could also take jurisdiction if the death involved a US Government official, theoretically right down to your USPS letter carrier. The FBI can also claim jurisdiction in an investigation if there is suspicion that there has been a violation of another federal law at the base of the crime, most usually the violation of the victim's civil rights. Such is usually the case when the murder is suspected to be racially motivated, part of an organized crime syndicate's activities ("RICO"), etc. Kidnapping across state lines is a federal crime, as is narcotic trafficking, trafficking in prostitution. Also, the FBI makes itself available to assist local and state authorities in murder investigations upon request when it's superior investigative resources (laboratory analysis, DNA, etc) can be of vital assistance. Lastly, in a way that sometimes blurs jurisdictional distinctions, the FBI also have a tendency to get involved when the victim is from a prominent, politically connected family."

I believe Tommy took a polygraph before he led LE to the dock (they would have wanted to verify his info before hauling him out there, in chains and handcuffs). He put himself there where Haleigh was disposed of. If he was at the dock disposing of Haleigh, I think it's safe to assume he was at the MH at some point. I don't remember AH saying he wasn't at the MH at all. Like so many other stories we have heard, this one has been stretched. They found bones turned into "Haleigh's bones". Misty at the dock turned into Misty pointing to the area where Haleigh was dumped, etc...

Could lying be a planned strategy from their attorneys? Both MC and her brother, ToC, are claiming to not be guilty of killing Haleigh. Because of all the lies/confusion, juries (like some of us on WS) can't decide which one actually killed Haleigh. Juries then find both Misty and Tommy not not guilty. (?)

ToC is as Not Credible as MC. Nice try, though, JW.

What I'm getting from tonight's show.

I know I saw that banner on the show tonight that read "Tommy and Misty won't be arrested".

I heard Tommy's attorney state that Tommy knows what happened that night and that he is dying for an arrest to be made in this case. If it's Tommy's attorney and he's making that statement - apparantly the arrest he's dying for is NOT Tommy. So, if I take the show to mean what I think it did, the only ones left are Joe or Ron. Am I off in my thinking?

Yes, you are right. It said Tommy and Misty won't be arrested. I also saw a banner that said "multiple persons of interest." (I had company, so don't hold me to exact wording)
What I read into this is...........multiple equals, RC, TN and possibly AS!
