Was that a Target video within that schpeel?

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh: You took the words right out of my mouth. Give em back.....no, no you can have them..

Oh. My. God. The Baez firm video with the vast array of liquors and the sparse little groupings of three lonely-looking books huddled together on an otherwise huge, empty shelf behind Jose is such a hoot!

Note to Jose: Send staff out to the local thrift store to purchase some books for bookcases. Lose liquor bottles and glasses from shelves in "professional" office. (What does he think it is - the "Mad Men" look in office decor? He's certainly no Don Draper!)

The dude is just pitiful!

Now here's the big one, are we ready????? Before KC's case JB handled primarily DUI's.

Sorry kaRN, did not see your post. But you are right, he did.

:floorlaugh: I'll bet you were thinking putting a Target video in there was as intelligent as using the word 'script' during the hearing.

Then I would expect him to have a working knowledge of those "sniffer" machine thingys.

But we're talking Baez, right?

Nevermind.

Talk about false advertising!! Second to none hahahaha.
I wonder where he stole his logo from hmmmmmmm.

did you notice how hard he shook his head "no" while saying that!? :pinocchio:

Even Jose doesn't believe it!

Breathalyzers. I guess for JB there's a big difference. One you use to analyze your breath. The other they used to analyze the air from the trunk. So anyone see a difference? Only the way they extract it is different. In the end it's still air containing elements to detect whether you are either drunk or dead. Not such a big difference aferall. jmo

c'mon now all of you. You can't tell me it comes as a surprise to any that not only does JB not have any actual law books to read, but instead he is well stocked with hooch? I mean has anything we have ever read that came from his office ever left the impression that the writer had ever read a Flodida law, statute or court decision? Or that the writer was in any way sober or sane? :waiting::waiting:

Is it normal for lawyers to have liquor in their offices? I've never had any legal issue, so I have never been in one before? I don't have a problem with it... because I'm sure I'd need a shot if I ever found myself in legal trouble, but I find it quite strange that there are just as many liquor bottles in Baez's offices than books?

Just out of college I worked doing data entry in an adjunct office to the DAs office while looking for a "real job." I'll never forget being told to help ourselves to the stuff in the conference room where they had had their Christmas Party. Holy alcohol! Bottle upon bottle upon bottle! And apparently it was stuff that was always there and broken out for different occasions! The DA is now the President Judge...

I thought that many of you would love the irony in this video clip that I found posted by Nanna Francis on one of the blogs. (Thanks Nanna Francis)

I wonder if JB had just finished filming it prior to the hearing last Friday, which brought on the "We do it right" comment.

:floorlaugh:

Someone could have a lot of fun mashing this one up!

Was that Gabriel guy the guy who JUST got sworn in that ICA was so so proud of? He seems to be missing his glasses. He keeps putting his nose way down to read things. And he said something like "if you need a lawyer you've already lost but we can help mitigate that." :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

So KC's defense team has one attorney who has no DP experience who is first chair, another attorney to defend her against the DP who can't hear what is being said in court and a third attorney doing research who can not see properly. So, "Now I understand". jmo

You mean NOT like this? :great:

I think that is a bottle of Patron tequila. I had to google, of course.

There ain't nothin' cheap about it either. $$$$

Who on earth would display a bottle of tequila in their OFFICE?!? Well, at least there aren't limes and salt displayed too. :floorlaugh:

If I am seriously ill I am going to go to a Physician or Surgeon who is Board Certified in his specialty. If I am accused of murder or manslaughter, I can be represented by any Attorney who hangs his shingle out- shouldn't there be some evidence of advanced training and experience obtained before an Atty can represent someone in such a serious situation? It amazes me that JB can do a few DUI's then take on a client that really needs someone competent. It's not like they can get a do-over if he does not have the skills required.
The irony here is that had ICA gone with a public defender she would have been represented so much better.

Thanks, Jomo! I am just now seeing this. Baez' ego weighs more than he does, IMO. Beware, unsuspecting public! (if there is anyone left out there that does not know his track record)
