elle, did you notice that the word attorney is singular, as if to imply that Flo and JoeO have retained AN (singular) attorney. That seems a bit off. What attorney can represent the interests of a man being accused of a horrific crime and simultaneously represent the interests of the woman who made that accusation public?!??

Bad reporting? Or are both being respresented by one attorney and how does that work?

I'd say probably misreporting. Or perhaps bad editing. I doubt very seriously that Flo and Joe have the same representation....definite conflict of interest there. Maybe Flo doesn't even have an attorney, time will tell.

Really? I'm not so sure... what is the penalty for obstruction? Tommy is admitting he withheld information, Misty, however, is claiming she's been forthright-- even if she's lying, LE will have to prove she knew better.

CBM. Whenever I start to theorize, my mind always goes back to wondering if she was even there at all. If that's the case, why not just say that from day one? Sure, she would still be culpable, but it would pale in comparison to the charges she could be facing. Im not 'convinced' she wasnt there, but Im not convinced of ANYTHING in this case. What an emotional roller coaster!

IMHO I think Misty really does think she's going to get off easier than others. IMHO she thinks she's going to get sentenced under the youth offender program. She qualifies yes? It will be interesting to see what happens with her.

As for RC's family stating he was there to befriend Misty. Oh bull stinky.

Those honey buns must be having an impact on Misty's disposition Is this the same Misty who wanted LP to bail her out of jail because she couldn't stand the place? The same Misty who said that "they" couldn't put her away for something that she didn't do?

Misty is now resigned to the fact that she could spend the rest of her life behind bars, but she's sticking to her "story" and doesn't care if ToC and Ron get deals. Somethin' smells fishy... jmo

Key points here in my opinion. Werter released the jail call yesterday to begin laying the brickwork in defense of his client by releasing the phone call with Flora.

No plea's for Misty huh? I will with hold my remarks about Mr Fields tactics until he shows a little more of his hand, but he seess to be a little busy and not really around for Misty that much. Very weird. Misty seemed to trust him completely.

That girl is reallly immature. I honestly don't think she realizes just how much trouble she is in. I feel sort of sorry for her, I have always had the feeling she is not exactly the brightest bulb in the box and none of her behavior since the beginning of this case has done anyting to convince me that assessment was wrong. I think she is just plain too dumb to be sceeerd.

From where I sit in the cheap seats of Montana, she's the only one in any position at this point to negotiate a deal for the drug charges with information regarding what happened to Haleigh. Time will tell. Let's hope it doesn't take until the last of the tiny remaining glaciers in Glacier Nat'l Park to melt for it to happen, though.

I thought that sounded odd too but we covered that in post # 20 on this thread. We concluded the wording of the reporter was just not the best and that was not what the story meant.

Sounds to me that Fields is leaning toward the "Misty was targeted because of Haleigh" approach.

Thank you for noticing the impact of that statement. I posted it earlier in red, bold and large font and got no reaction. I think it means even he knows she knows more than what she's telling. The attorneys are not behaving as usual in this case. Seems they all are claiming they are working WITH LE.

Correction: Ron's attorney is working with the State Attorney to negotiate a deal.

I agree everyone else's lawyer seems to be working with LE.
