What strange bedfellows- JB, the As, and ABC.

~Just thinking about ABC-----regarding the outrageous and bullying behavior of Cindy........it really stands for Anyone But Casey (did it).

JMO....

ETA: Hey, if I go on national tv and state that my size 12 jeans are NOT size 12s but are actually size 0....does that make it "true"?? LOL! Can I argue that Levi's has targeted ME in this mislabeling snafu? Perhaps it's a rogue group of corrupt Levi's workers OR maybe it's a widespread conspiracy against me (a rush to judgement about my size 12s!!) OR maybe I am just the most intellectually superior person on the planet because I am the only one who just KNOWS the jeans are a size 0!!!! After all, I clearly stated this on TV dontcha know.

MOO.......

Well I guess we all know why Cindy and George made this last television appearance. So that the defense could file their response. Unbelievable. I don't have any idea how those two sleep at night.

I wonder if they have put all of Caylee's pictures away. How could they possibly look at her sweet face and then turn around and lie for her murderer? That whole ABC interview was only for planting more doubt and spewing more lies. imo

BTW the defense needs to make up their mind. Either Cindy knew that Caylee had been missing for 31 days so there was no emergency which wouldn't make the remark about the smell of the car an excited utterance. Since there was no "new information" to make the remark an excited utterance. Or it wasn't an excited utterance because she DIDN'T know Caylee had been "missing" for 31 days and she made the remark "to get the police there quicker".

So which one is it?

No kidding. It's like the defense and the A's keep changing up the story to fit the question at the moment, not the overall story. It's like they can't understand that inconsistencies will happen when you're just trying to lie past questions, not trying to address the entire situation. This won't fly for this motion, and if the A's get up on the stand and answer questions like they have been, Casey is a dead in the water.

The biggest problem with the defense and the A's is that they are not looking at this case as a whole. Getting the 911 calls tossed out wouldn't make Casey innocent. It's like trying to piece together a puzzle without actually trying to put the pieces together (which makes no sense, btw). You can't force the pieces the fit where you THINK they might go, they only fit where they belong. The jury will be able to properly put this case together because they will look at it as a WHOLE, not just very disorganized and nonsensical parts. Confusion doesn't work when you can't break the overall story here. It only looks desperate and pathetic on the part of the defense and the A's.

That's good for justice for Caylee, and very, very bad for Casey. I can't believe she's still happy with her "boys". She's going to be very shocked and surprised at how badly this goes for her in a courtroom.

What a timely coincidence. :waitasec: CA said it therefore it must be true. Not!

Nice try. Like everything once placed in true context with the facts recorded at that time it all becomes clear .... rather than this distorted history revision.

Both.

prior to,[/B] Cindy's phone call.

He also admitted it to the FBI. Cindy also told George, "We lost her. We lost Caylee."

This line is much worse than the comment about the dead body in the trunk.

'Lost' her? What an odd phrase, it's not sitting right with me, I can't quite figure out how to put it into context. Anyone care to share their thoughts?

I think CA was telling GA that Caylee was dead.

As much as I love the hearings, I'd take Key West any day. :D Especially over a status hearing. At least you aren't missing a good juicy one. The TES motions hearing is July 15th. ;)

Have fun on your vacation, Amil! :blowkiss:

And of course the big juicy hearing I'll be in trial hell myself! :banghead:

DOH!

If I'm lucky maybe my trial will get rescheduled again! :o

snipped:

Yet the thrust of today's defense filing is that Cindy Anthony made the 911 calls after hours spent learning new information, discussing matters with co-workers, meeting her husband and picking up Casey Anthony.

It says she held discussions with co-workers "in obtaining suggestions as to her course of conduct. They, therefore, could not qualify as spontaneous or excited utterances."

The defense reply cites recent depositions of Debbie Polisano, a co-worker/supervisor of Cindy Anthony, and Charles Crittenden, another co-worker.

Both testified that in July 2008, Cindy Anthony had a call from her husband about the car Casey Anthony drove being held at an impound lot.

The husband and wife met at the lot and discovered "the baby seat, backpack, and alleged 'favorite doll' of Caylee," according to the two witnesses' recent testimony. Cindy then returned to work and told co-workers about the incident, according to the filing.

"Cindy Anthony discussed the smell of the car with both Debbie Polisano and Charles Crittenden and told them that George Anthony had said that the car smelled like a dead body had been in it," according to court records.

Polisano told Cindy Anthony to go home and suggested going to the police, but Cindy Anthony returned to her desk, according to the testimony. She was later ordered to leave work.

Thank you, NTS. :) In exchange I will give you some free help lol. Don't fight so hard the idea that Cindy told people that the car smelled like a dead body BEFORE she made the 911 call. This fact actually supports your argument that the "it smells like a dead body" statement was NOT an excited utterance, because she had been making the same statement for hours.

Now, I still think it was an excited utterance, because I think the "smells like a dead body" suddenly MEANT something much more horrible in her mind as soon as Casey said she hadn't seen Caylee in 31 days. Also, as I mentioned before, this statement will come in anyway for impeachment, the second that Cindy testifies that it did NOT smell like a dead body.... Still, don't give up your best argument so easily. Embrace the idea that Cindy had been repeating this same thing for hours before she made the call. ;)

An interesting side note: Even after "admitting" that ZFG had disappeared with Caylee 31 days earlier, Casey still maintained that she had spoken with Caylee on the phone earlier that same day and Caylee was fine. In fact, Casey never changed her story about the phone call. Why then was Cindy crying hysterically? Why was she screaming to her supervisor that she didn't know what she would do if the baby was dead? Did she think Casey would lie about something like that??:waitasec:

AZ Lawyer is psychic!!! OR JB is reading here and ran right over to the courthouse with AZ's logical thinking!! BBM and I agree with the underlined.

And the next motion we will see will be to have witnesses statements excluded where after the initial forensics reports were released regarding the decomposition hair came from either ICA or Calyee and ICA replied, Well I'm alive. I don't remember if T Miller was at the house at this time or not. Also don't forget about the map incident either.

Wonder if we will see this latest defense motion over the weekend. If not, Monday will be interesting. This motion is but a small stone in building the wall that the SA will tear down before the foundation is even set. Why JB is wasting time, effort and money is so perplexing to me other than it is self serving for his ego.

I agree. I don't know how they reconcile with themselves about what they've done to Caylee in death. Or how they can look themselves in the mirror each day and not be totally disgusted.

Someone please assure me that this document was filed by the defense before I posted. :banghead: I was not trying to give free advice to the defense, just to my friend NTS.

I haven't seen the pdf doc - the actual motion. Only the media reports.

Although Cindy appeared on GMA long before you posted that to NTS, so I think the wheels were already in motion.

eta: I'm gonna predict that it was filed after 4:45 pm, since it is a Friday, iykwim.
Oh heck, go delete your argument, if it'll make ya feel better. It was pretty darn good. lol

I think Baez called "Rosebud" for another mission, all planned around the second anniversary of Caylee's death. And she jumped at the chance for another trip to boot. A two-fer for Cindy!!

And I thank you :-) I can't wait to read the motion. lol I am wondering who just deposed the co workers.

Unless....NTS is Baez!! You know, Baez IS not that smart!

The funny thing is if the news reports are correct, there is nothing new in the doc compared to the Omnibus motion, right? It is not new news that Cindy talked to her co workers and we have posted several times clips of Cindy telling Nancy , Greta, reporters in front of her home and anyone who will listen that she mentioned the smell of a dead body to get the cops to step on it. Nothing Cindy said on GMA is different from what she told LKL from jump. Right? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vLhUaYCetk[/ame]

It wont be the first and certainly wont be the last time the defense gives media a document that they have yet to file. The funny thing is if the news reports are correct, there is nothing new in the doc compared to the Omnibus motion page 11 . Yes, but OS changed it up.IMO They claim that Charles C and Debbie P now say that Ca said that Ga told her it smelled like a dead body.IMO Now that becomes hearsay, no?

Here is Cindy in her own words saying NO, she did NOT think it was nuts that Caylee had been gone for those 31 days.
She asks the doctor if sweat can be construed as decomposition tissue. He promptly answers "NO!"
Dr. Daniel Spitz, Chief Medical Examiner , "There is no question that the smell of a decomposing body is markedly different that the smell of some rotting food matter. This is Daniel Spitz, a ME speaking, and Cindy just sits there shaking her head no. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gi1W6Aoly3I[/ame] So yes, when she found out Casey did not have her or know where she is .... SHE freaked the hell out!! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJSelSDYgRg[/ame]

This tape is my favorite because she says she believes someone else had control over the car and Casey is not the one who left it at Amscot

http://www.wftv.com/news/18530380/detail. html It seems this shaking her head in denial is nothing new, according to her co workers.

Have you seen the document? I need one of the lawyers to help us here, because my understanding is it is outside of the rules for the defense to make a document public that is not filed yet. Is that correct guys? Is one allowed to fax a document to the clerk there? Does one not have to file the original document, with original signatures with the clerk? If yes, there should be a record of it, right? I know they can file it Monday first thing, or maybe it is filed and the clerk just needs to complete the task, but I do not like reading the news summary of it, I like to review the document.
Unfortunately every once in awhile the news reporter gets the information a little skewed in their haste to post. The information about the co worker Charles is not new. We have had his police interview where he details Cindy talking to he and the group. We have had that statement from him for a long while now. I am just curious to see what is new, if anything.
Here is what he and other Gentiva employees said to the LEO earlier on:

Wait a sec, are you saying the defense didn't file the motion? I am seeing in the news stories that is filed. IMO Where are you getting this?

I checked the county clerk records and it is not filed. That is why I keep asking if I am going crazy or does anyone have it? IIRC, if I recall correctly, and help me if I am wrong, they did this once before or twice before. I vagely recall it coming up that Baez handed a unrecorded sneak peek doc to a reporter, denied it, said it was faxed or shared in some other manner but effect still the same, it was un recorded.

Then some doc was shown to reporters that still had mention of Judge Strickland on them, when they got filed that was different, do you remember that, or am I way too sleepy?

Wow, if these facts are all true, HHJP is not going to like this. IIRC, didn't he already take note of these ill conceived strategies and make a comment regarding proper filing procedures in the past?
