Question about possible thread: Were TH & DY really friends?
I'm very frustrated to keep hearing *and* reading on every newscast and TV show and every online media source that TH and DY were friends before Kyron was even born. Also frustrating to me is the repeated news that TH knew and helped take care of Kyron from the time he was "three days old."
The first time I read all this was in an Oregon Live article about "The Blended Family." TH's friends have also claimed it is true -- however, DY stated very clearly in the media interviews with Kaine that she was *NOT* friends with TH.

2004 - Kaine brought in Terri and son to care for Kyron. (corrected via statement bio mom made about not knowing Terri).
So, WS has clearly corrected the original incorrect Oregonian info about the friendship. I'm proud about this due to being a member here:blushing: and frustrated that no one else in the media seems to have done so.
To me, DY's words, tone, and demeanor clearly indicated she was *not* friends with TH. Did the original erroneous information from the Oregonian come from TH's "friends" or TH's mother?
I would like to see this misinformation cleared up -- #1. because it has been refuted by DY and #2. every time I read it or hear someone say it, the "long friendship" (error) statement seems to be used to cast a negative light on DY -- IMHO.
So, does anyone else have an issue with this? Does anyone else have information about how DY and TH came to know each other and how to correct this constantly repeated error in the media?

Every other article about the family background that I have read seems to draw heavily from this original Oregonian "blended family" article. As time has unfolded, it certainly seems that the "friends" who provided quite a bit of (mis)information for this article were TH's friends.
I *know* I clearly heard DY say (on a 6/25/10 video with Kaine) she didn't know TH before Kyron was born. I'm certain the video was the longer one done locally by KOIN, Channel 6 News. It seems that video has been edited now and I am going to call the station and find out if the original is still available.

So we can deduce from all of this that Terri had relationship w/ Kaine and *possibly* was living with him when Desiree went to Canada for medical treatment?
Ugh. Sorry but I like Terri less and less as each day goes by.

Thanks, Avalon Blue. I am not trying to be difficult on this issue, but, I did watch the interviews and did not hear this. This is why I have asked for a link. I know this case seems, more than any other recent one I can recall, to be rife with rumours and all, and with it being reported one way (they were friends) in MSM, I would really like to be clear on this, before accepting that they didn't know each other or were friends, as fact. And that last few words is I guess another question, did DY say they didn't know each other, or, did she say they weren't friends. Big difference if she said either one.
